890 mb texture for main character that's only in cutscenes not even including high poly model on a 14.8 GB install. How much of the game was just the fucking player model.

Its not even hard, especially since they already stole a bunch of assets, just steal some textures and collage them together like the rest of the game.
It seems to me that the character getting his head bashed by a crowbar would have been much better conveyed with normal Half-Life perspective. Never actually seeing the atrocious looking character model, but understanding you were messed up from other characters reactions. Anything besides what they decided on.

So is there a good summary of this shitshow anywhere? I know it's a shitty $25 sourcemod with stolen content made by an idea's guy who paid a few people and didn't pay a whole lot more, but is there a better summary of the whole shitstorm that doesn't involve reading 28 pages or watching a multi hour long stream?
You know it's a little gross when you realize there's basically no scripted sequences or dialogue outside of cutscenes It's like they didn't know how to properly script a scene so they decided to just make everything a SFM cutscene

Why do you even need textures that big. If you just scaled them down to 2048x2048 or even 1024x1024 for the important shit and 1024x1024 to 512x512 for the minor shit they'd all probably look exactly the same.

Funfact, the vox in Hunt Down The Freeman is so fucking bad that it actually reminds me of a classic meme pretty much only Koreans know about, the korean dub of Half Life 1 and the vocoded Vox. Seems like the recurring theme here is the folk that got involved with development are all eager people with no professional experience who got suckered into working for someone who's more persuasive than able to actually lead a team
Don't want to sound cocky, but I have no idea how people could have trusted Frank after the initial 2016 announcement. We've seen Fuse models, Gmod maps, edgy kid writing and a failed kickstarter right of the bat and people still thought "yeah, I want to work for this guy"?

I think it goes to show how much of a clusterfuck this development was when one of your lead VAs is a total stranger to the animation team that has to work [I]with his performance[/I].

C) "The 2016 one was shit but come on pepole we're going to give him a second chance, What could go wrong ?" D) That nobody even investigated over Frank and that all the hatred and accusations was pure "jealousy" or "lies"
