It's a weekend. I'm sure by the end of next week we'll see some sort of reaction.
Oh, look what I found.

The other US Military models are from Turbosquid, too. At least that means they're not stolen assets.
Those youtuber VAs are so fucking tacky. For ones like RP who is an actual voiceactor it makes sense, but amassing personalities who clearly did not get proper VA directing from the team or know enough about the scene to make it work made every appearance feel forced, arbitrary and obvious. I don't blame them for taking it because i'm sure it's a cool offer and they probably like the HL franchise, but the dev team should prioritize good acting over referential actors.
Fucking hell this is the best entertainment i've had all month
So this is Half-Life's legacy? Shitty mods with stolen assets being sold as actual games? Like I said before, I blame Valve for this more than Frank. Valve could have easily refused this getting on to Steam, lord knows the community had rounded up more than enough evidence before the product was even "finished" so to speak.

How many polygons?
There's so many polygons that the model doesn't even have a wireframe. It's just solid :buckteeth:

Highlights from my 100 minutes of this memefest.

Pretty much any model in this game

How many polygons does a gun need before it starts to question its own existence?
I'm glad I didn't have to pay anything to play this game.
I really want to play it to experience it but I don't want to lose $25 over it.
The reason why Frank delayed the game for the fifth time was FOR A PUBLICITY STUNT
So my "I tricked you all into thinking I tricked you!" joke was right the whole time? :what:
How is delaying a publicity stunt?
This Frank guy reminds me of Sergey Titov. The "mastermind" behind Big Rigs, WarZ, Shattered Skies, Aftermath, etc.
Anyone know a decent playthrough of the game with cutscenes? I haven't followed the thread since shortly after it came out and there are a lot of posts now.
it's kinda amazing that source (engine made in 2004) can handle such dense models and not explode the user's computer.
i'm pretty sure if you try to import 2 million polygons into unity or unreal 4 they would jut crush.
I just hopes this doesn't turn into a Bad Rats situation where the dude actually makes money off of this because of people buying it for shits and giggles.
Going to stream this right now if anybody wants to watch yet another person's head explode.

Don't.
Just watch VNN or MacD re-streams, funniest shit I've seen for a while.
Well, at least they added parkour and that's kind of fresh addition to Source games

Wasn't Parkour taken from a GMod addon?
its really beautiful when, once in a blue moon, something so bad is released that everyone across the internet can laugh at it together
solokiller`og;53159555']Wasn't Parkour taken from a GMod addon?
no, the mod you're (likely) thinking of doesnt even have this glitch, its very similar though
Anyone know a decent playthrough of the game with cutscenes?.
The game is basically bland, boring and full of shit when you remove the cutscenes and consider only the playable parts, but hey with some friends and some beers, it could be quite fun
At least the cutscenes form a 50 minute Steven Seagal post 2000 career movie with some HL elements here and there.
I hope Steam removes the game and forces refunds
It isn't right for a publisher to make a single cent from a game with stolen content, in such an unacceptable barely functioning state no less.
is the tutorial accessible in the game? i cannot find the way to access it on the original release build outside console commands

Pretty sure Source wouldn't like a model with several million polygons in-game either.
Does it really load up a model as dense as that when you play?
type in 'map a0c0p0' in the console if you want to experience an unfinished ripoff of the opposing force tutorial
[editline]25th February 2018[/editline]
on the original release build at least
Yo could someone get me Mitchell's blue camo model, Kiwi said it's in there somewhere and I need it for HL2:CE
