I don't think I've ever wanted to buy and play a terrible game this badly before. To be honest I don't think I've been this hyped for a game in a while, even if it is going to be abysmal.

Holy shit it's so jarring to hear Valve's Dr.Breen lines, which were written by an actually competent writer. When everything else sounds like it's from a bad fan fiction written by a edgy teen (which actually seems to be the case).

This description is not only needlessly cryptic, makes Gordon Freeman sound really dumb, and seems like it was written for the sole purpose of those ~dramatic~ panning shots (or to come off as a Batman trailer or something). I'm surprised they left out his things like "wearing glasses" and "is a mute."
-Aliens that are supposed to look intimidating coming out of a portal look more like curious and awe-stricken parrots.
-Mod is trying to be serious but shows a guy using zombie body to reload his shotgun and one-arms said shotgun like's he's Ash Williams 'because it's cool, dude'.
-I legit thought that one of the two guys talking were text-to-speech and not one of their "voice actors." "Captain needs to see it..." "'Captain needs to see' what?" cliche writing. *Shows crowbar* Oh my god, an item that could literally be found anywhere; or did the Combine (or 'combines,' now) get rid of crowbars fearing Freeman's return?
-Cliche "No God" comment from their "so cool" OC.
-I admit, the the guy who dubs over Breen's voice has a good voice and all, but not as Breen.
This is so unintentionally laughable because it tries so hard to be serious. I understand it's a mod, they're amateurs and all that, but something about how serious it tries to be, with the writing quality of a a fourteen year-old's fan fiction and the animations of 'my first SFM film' make me contemptuous of this... thing.
Apparently this is being sold for $25 and it's a standalone game from what I'm reading on their steam discussion page.
