already said this before but its not even worth it for a goof, nor a gaff. because the game is so incredibly boring and lacking of any real objective or direction other than "go from point a to b while taking on an abnormally high amount of high health npcs." its far more frustrating to play than anything else
Just watch an LP or highlights vid. You're not missing anything by not playing it yourself.
Story aside, The game's the most problem was the level.
They can't make it better unless they scrap all the levels and make the maps that make sense.

It's kind of a shame this thing's such a piece of shit, because I do think the idea of a game set in or around the Seven Hour War would be cool as hell. I mean, not that HDTF sucking prevents anyone from making a mod like that, but had it been at least passable or decent it might've actually reignited some interest in Source modding.

Damn, the models are generally really bad. Textures are inconsistent: some try to look like ultra mega giant ass definition and others look like a bad attempt to replicate TF2's style

Ain't this the truth. The level design is horrible, but not in an entertainingly bad way. Everything just takes too long, and everything worth making a snarky joke at just shows up over and over. It's not infuriating or hilarious, it's just exhausting.

Man, if only they spent more time/effort introducing the mechanics properly. Like the prone mechanic is just "there" and you are expected to know when to use it (especially when it's first "introduced"), with little-to-no direction in the way of level lighting or any of that (speaking of lighting; holy shit). It feels like they just added in as many different things to fluff up the game, without actually considering whether these things are important for the player to know.
