And they just have to argue that upgrading their gun first is the most important thing on the planet, when they've gone scout/medic/engineer, and not what they should do. I cannot see why this is an excuse to be a radical authoritarian.
This game evolved into something that (second to moneymaking) lets you be creative with your loadouts and your appearance. I don't see why this can't extend into MVM when your friend is denying someone to be a different class, have different weapons, or different upgrades. I'm sure everybody enjoys following the same used up meta that has already been proven countless times to succeed, why fix what isn't broken, right? I understand that, but what isn't broken gets old, tired, and boring, why not stray into using something new that has a chance to be broken? If it is, fix it. If you can't fix it, then by all means, go back to your meta, or you can make something new and roll with that instead.
I don't frequent MVM seriously because I have other things I can waste my money on, like the newest virtual fedora for my favorite class of the week until I find out somebody is betetr than me at that class and I find another.

I can understand why people are like that, with an unaware team I find Mann Up to be incredibly difficult and sometimes head-to-wall frustrating. But I only do that when I can't get my usual group together. If you care enough to do 200+ tours, why would you play with pubbies and not a dedicated group where you can fuck around with whatever loadout and have fun?

I really wanna know what you people actually think he means with that bind. How do you know that "incorrect class" refers to going double soldier/demo or pyro/spy, when the important roles have been covered, and doesn't refer to going medic when they need a engi?
How do you know that "wrong weapons" is about running another banner instead of buff and doesn't refer to running rocket jumper + shotgun?
What about "wrong upgrades"? There is a difference between upgrading a bit different but still having a pretty effective upgrade route and maxing out afterburn damage and duration right away. How do you know he will kick for the former one?
I doubt anyone have a problem with kicking someone for poor play, since joining mecha, 2shitty and expert without being able to pull your own weight is a total dickmove towards everyone else on the team. Kicking because pan is dumb and the "ready up too fast/slow" is weird but you people always jump to the extremes and act like the guy will kick you for the tiniest goddamn thing.
Ofcourse, you might have played with him and know he will actually kick you for the tiniest thing but come on. Mvm isn't some place where you are forced to play with the same team setup, weapons or upgrade route every single time. Only low tour and/or shit players want to enforce that.

Having played MvM with Lobo and the individual in the screenshot, most of the contention I've seen comes due to the fact that he actually DOESN'T play within the generally accepted meta. Using QF over Kritz, playing pyro over soldier, ect. More than once has some ~50-60 tour person joined, gone demo, and told the 200 tour individual to change from sniper "because sniper is bad".
