That reminds me of one time with my old friend... We went into a Valve server and he said he was giving away a free Unusual to the first person who could type "12345" in chat. Well the chat flooded pretty quickly and of course I had the message ready to send before he sent his message. Anyway he gave me the hat and I said "finally I can use rebuild headgear" and then I went to go craft a hat with three refined metal... And got a Baseball Bill's. The chat fucking exploded and everyone was an easy kill because they were standing still to type.

How do you do predict your drops, btw? I heard about the cl_trigger_first_notification thing, but I have no idea how to use it. Or the backpack.tf "NEW" item thing?

you can open console in the new item view menu. type "say !freeitem" or something like that, and it will type it in chat. the "x has found" message only appears after you close out of the item view menu.
