I don't mean to sound like an ass but I honestly think that it truly does not matter in the absolute slightest what map/gamemode/whatever you like, you're still having fun on a videogame that you like and that's the important part
the only part where that gets bad is when your fun is at other peoples expense (IE Griefing, and not to be confused with pubstomping) and playing on certain maps/gamemodes aren't really ever at anyones expense ever

This actually reminds me of one of the first times I went engineer in MvM.
When I saw the sentry buster coming, I picked up the sentry and ran, only to find the sentry buster was still chasing after me. I eventually ran from it the entire game without either of us dieing.
We still lost, but I still had fun with it.
