I like screwing around with cheats online on Super Smash Bros. Brawl since there are so many fun ones.
You can change the stage music to anything you want, pick stages that aren't even on the list (like the homerun contest map and the wifi waiting room), and change the rules for the match. (like stock, damage scaling, and even forcing special modes like low gravity or stamina)
Not all hacking in multi-player games is bad!
There is a large difference in how you hack in Super Smash Bros Brawl. First off, you are not giving yourself instant kills on the enemies, you just trigger something unexpected, and it is not really a team game, although in the way you do, could be very well possible.
What the usual cheater does in TF2 is just toggle on all his cheats, and then one-hit-kill everyone on the enemy team the moment they can be hit . It is entirely selfish, annoying as shit to get them away, as most of them go 'troll lel mad', or some other pathetic attempt to get people irked, and it is like they totally missed the team aspect of the game. After all, it is called Team Fortress 2, and personally, I enjoy the rounds the most when it is a close one, and the teams actually use teamwork to win. Thus, I cannot understand why someone would use cheats/hacks for another reason apart from getting attention they so desperately crave.
Isn't that the opposite of why hackers hack, though? They do realize that it makes everyone have no fun, that's their goal.
So trolls, technically.
Hackers are no fun, they refuse (read: fail) to listen to reason and don't realize how unfun the game gets for others.
I once had one guy say that it's not cool either to join Valve Servers and Steamroll the shit out of new guys.

Honestly wondering how some of these even found the switch to turn the PC on. Or even install Steam/create an account.
