Not a quote really, but I think this is a funny little story:
I was playing thundermountain as attacker and theres this bridge lifting up after you capped the first point. I saw how one of our Scouts (obviously f2p, only wearing the Bombinomicon and using a Soda Popper) somehow glitched himself to one end and then got stuck. You couldn't really see him from above but from below. I went there, taunted a bit and stuff and he was looking around, shooting, trying to escape somehow. This lasted for several minutes. Then I got bored and moved along.
Then, like 5-10 minutes later or something I saw him still beeing stuck under the bridge, still shooting and looking around. I went there again and placed myself right under him. We were looking at each other and I wrote in the chat "Dude, just type 'kill' into the console, you'll respawn then". Seconds later he died and answered "Ty, sir" in the team chat.
I don't know why he didn't change team to spactator and back or reconnect to the server or something but he was stuck there against his will for at least 10 minutes.

I love when people get stuck in TF2 because it is one of the only times where saying "kill yourself" becomes a good suggestion. :v:

I don't see why people get so pissy over hats. It's not like valve is devoting their time and resources to making them. They already have a ton of contributors doing that for them, they just have to click the "add hat to game" button. \ Valve is still working on their usual stuff, and we did have the summer update (Which had a ton of good rebalance to old weapons). Hats aren't the problem behind there not being weapons, Valve being lazy is. And I still am like 90% sure we're gonna have new weapons this Christmas anyway (Hopefully nothing stupid like 2011 Christmas). They've added weapons every Christmas, they wouldn't let us down that hard.
