that one seems ironic or on purpose real people miusing the jumper don't even know it does nothing
that one seems ironic or on purpose real people miusing the jumper don't even know it does nothing
I feel so bad fighting against those soldiers. This one time a Soldier with a rocket jumper fought me like any other soldier would, strafing, jumping and all that jazz. I just went towards him and he seemed to start to panic and went completely spastic and tried to get away from me, only to fall down a cliff. It's moments likes these I wish more servers would support replay.
I remember firing some Rocket Jumper rockets to scare off a sniper who was pestering me from long distance because he wasn't paying attention to which rocket launcher I was using. It can be a life-saver, just as long as you realize you're not going to hurt anybody with it.
well you could just scare him off with real rockets instead
well you could just scare him off with real rockets instead
Yeah, but that's not as funny.

The soldier killed me in one rocket and the pyro started to look for what he thought was a dead ringer spy. When he realized there was no spy he looked at the soldier and moments later he votekicked the soldier, saying he had some sort of damage cheat. It passed.

why He also upgraded health regen why that's literally the worst upgrade
He obviously meant to say sticky though? the 'a' and 's' keys are right next to each other so it's not that big of a deal
He obviously meant to say sticky though? the 'a' and 's' keys are right next to each other so it's not that big of a deal
No, the point is that he thinks going demomen will net him a stickybomb launcher. ON 2CITIES.
He also upgraded health regen why that's literally the worst upgrade
The fuck you say, even just 1 level of that is incredibly useful if you can't get to any sort of healing items. I generally only buy 1 level, but it can be damned useful

Then my router decides to die and TF2 decides to not let me back in even though I timed out. Then I'm replaced with this guy. [t]http://i.imgur.com/OjwGx0F.png[/t]
No, the point is that he thinks going demomen will net him a stickybomb launcher. ON 2CITIES.
while it's not important to max regen, i almost always get a level of it for good measure. no matter what class you are, even if you have a medic, it's a life saver.
while it's not important to max regen, i almost always get a level of it for good measure. no matter what class you are, even if you have a medic, it's a life saver.
I think what he means is that the guy thinks going demoman will net him a botkiller sticky launcher at the end.
I think what he means is that the guy thinks going demoman will net him a botkiller sticky launcher at the end.
i know but he said in his post "worst possible upgrade regen"
i know but he said in his post "worst possible upgrade regen"
Really, it's kind of pointless because for 150 more you can get 25% resistance and for the exact same amount you can get health on kill. +2 regen a second is going to take a while to get you from low health into fighting shape, while resistances and health on kill keep you in the fight. It just seems like a waste on anyone that isn't medic, and I usually have to spend a lot on medic to upgrade my medigun.

You can just jump and run away from pyrobots to stay out of their range while the afterburn only tickles you. Also, the resistances are 300 credits nowadays after their price got reduced.
The only time i've found health regen to be viable is when you're playing pyro on empire escalation and trying to reflect crits Mostly because our team's medic is always too stupid to heal me, and i need a way to get health back before another crit hits me, and health-on-kill doesn't work because reflect kills don't heal and this isn't even necessary after they nerfed the mission

They also can't save you from falling damage - and, worse, explosive/crit resistance can sorta cause it with the massive knockback on crit explosives.
Not sure where to post this, so I'm just going to post it here.
