Funniest quotes from the "Fresh Meat" v3: "protect my century"
And so we argued on, reaching topics such as: "Why does the medic have an overheat where I can't use it?" (I've never heard of the medigun having an overheat!!! Everybody else who's played Medic that I know irl replied to me saying: "Yes, the medigun has an overheat where you can't use it")
What. Are you saying they think that you can't heal too much or the medigun will overheat and be unusable for a certain period? Have they even played this game for longer than like ten seconds? Unless they added an unlock with it, that's ridiculous. It'd completely break the character.

I'm assuming the guy was referring to the Uber charge as overheat due to the particle effect that the medi-gun emits. He probably didn't realize that the medi-gun stores the uber.
My friend already has premium in TF2 but I still look at him as fresh meat because sometimes he can ask such ridculous questions like "who said money is important in MvM it does nothing" and he still thinks that Scout is the strongest and best class in the whole game...
Actually I think I could put almost all of his statements about TF2 here

They meant that you can't use it for a certain amount of time after healing too much with it. Ik, it's sad. Very, very sad.

Please do
Another friend of mine, who has been enjoying TF2 so far, keeps asking me about the economy of the game. He keeps wanting a S. Sniper Rifle, but only has maybe 3 ref worth of items. Once, he asked how much a Strange Rifle would cost. After looking at a price suggestion and getting shock by the 4.33 price suggestion (my original Rifle cost me only 1 ref), I told him it was 4.33. Then he asks me how much a key costs. I say 7.33 ref. I then say he could just buy a key when he gets a Steam card and trade it for the Rifle + 2.77. Then he starts going on about how a Strange Rifle costs 1 key. I tell him it doesn't. After a few more questions, he asks if a key costs 4.33. Annoyed, I just tell him to wait until he gets premium.

"heavy is the worst class in tf"
"Why?"
"because all you do with him is shooting"
"heavy is the worst class in tf"

But that's true. Other classes have something else you can do.
Punching and eating aren't shooting. Unless my thesaurus is lying to me again.
but he is?
He's a glass cannon; he can completely wreck a team, but he's just as likely to die without doing anything.
but he is?
Don't confuse strongest with most agile.

except outside of sentries most players can't even touch people who have more than 100 hours on scout
at skill ceiling scout is the strongest 1v1 class

You mean a class designed for killing solo targets is good against solo targets? No way!
How to completely derail a thread without the desire to do so:
1. Write a reply
2. Wait for someone who disagrees with a part of your reply
3. Others will now argue with him/her
4. Thread derailed

Being the strongest at 1v1 doesn't matter as much because it's Team Fortress 2

if you're good enough everything is a 1v1

being new doesn't make what I think wrong, scout is very powerful, and a good enough one is basically unkillable
if you had to pick a single class to master, you could get the most done with a lone scout

unfortunately no matter how good a scout you are, you're going to get bent over by any bumblefuck with a gunslinger unless there's some really tight corridors happening
Considering all the equips that are in the game that heal the user it's possible for most classes to be unkillable depending on the skill level of the people they are up against.

Ive played for like 3 years or so and it always comes down to like 2, sometimes 3 people carrying an entire team, and then the rest of the players does nothing. its not really much team work in team fortress 2.
Also; Pyro is best at 1v1.

pyro is best at 1v1 in a vacuum. In a real game, he's too easy to kite to actually be useful like scout or soldier. The main reason they're so powerful is it's effective impossible to force them to fight if they don't want to.
If the scout can meatshot the pyro twice before the pyro 1shots him then yea, scout is the best at 1v1. but most people aren't anywhere near that good though, and because anyone with more than a 200 hours in tf2 can utilise the degreaser well that makes pyro best at 1v1.
Can you guys stop arguing about what class is the best with point & clicking so we have more space for fresh meat quotes?
Being bad doesn't make the class bad. You're projecting your own inability to play on other people.
