Eh, I remember selling a name/description tag while I was still F2P...
F2P's can trade stuff that other people have given them, just not stuff that they've found or crafted.

Aren't certain things like salvaged crates and tools tradable even when they find it, too?
I know certain items can be traded if you're a F2P but you can't send trade invites as far as I know.

Steamguard is a fickle mistress. Sometimes it'll allow you to trade before using the community market, other times vice versa and the time is seemingly random at times.
I've had times where I've had to wait 2 weeks before I could trade because I re-installed my OS on a new PC I built. Second time I did it (again, another PC I built) it was only 1 week and yet for my brother he once had to wait 3 weeks because he changed his payment options (or so he says. Take it with a bucket of salt).

Yesterday played on Valve's Doomsday. In my team there was a solly - one look and you could tell he's a pro. Hale's own RL w/ ~40k kills and airborne part, some kind of killstreak on it, don't remember other weaps, wearing full samurai misc set including stormy kabuto. Looks aside, he was simply owning the other team. He knew exactly what he was doing and how to do it well.
He got votekicked for "hacking" three minutes into game. Only guy raging because of him were on our team, no opponent said a word. And yes, we were winning up to this point and then lost the round. And yes, team wondered why.
