Uh, no. Literally this is the most stupid thing I've ever heard. There are literally thousands of different people on steam alone that have names and avatars of characters from numerous different shows. You can't just single out my little pony fans alone for it.

i dont really see whats wrong or offensive in roleplaying though. there's plenty of "Ask_______" tumblrs out there about tf2 characters and they are quite popular and somewhat funny.

while certainly you can have a thing agaisnt a particular series and/or fanbase, i hardly doubt that they would enforce you to get into one of said series/fanbases. and if they do, you can.... leave? block? mute? hell, you can simply move on and keep living your life.

I've got no issue with fanbases, it's always the people.
People who roleplay as a horse in the game? fine. dress your character and names how you want. but start spamming the chat with bad quote binds and lenny faces and making arguments about your interests with people who dislike them, it generally shows that you're not in that fandom for the show, you're in it so you can associate with some people and then show off "im part of something, LOOK AT ME RIGHT NOW"
