That problem kind of solves itself? You can hover over it and see if it says "Achievement Item: Not Tradable"
It does not. When there is more than one of the same item, they are grouped in the same itemspot. If the achievement one is in front, there's no way to move it out of the way unless you go in the backpack and delete it.

Non-tradable should be separated from the normal one.
Edit: Snip. That's what I get for reading topics from the newest post backward.
I can play almost eighth matches and do good then decide that I somehow lost all my experience and play like ass when a friend joins in, making me look bad.
I swear, I do not die to Demoknights this much dude!

just put in both of your items, tradeable and untradeable, and then replace the untradeable one with the other item you were gonna craft with. why you think you'd have to delete items to reach them in the stack is beyond me.
i swear this shit keeps happening to me or exclusively sea servers
got another asshole who keeps telling me not to use mic and resorted to voting me off (3x, none passed), told him to mute, gets ignored, try to vote him off, failed, muted him, he's still doing it
i'm seriously getting sick of this shit, and it never stops

the part where i don't understand is that why are people so dense to not to read chat? it's not even that hard and i cannot comprehend this kind of bullshit
I'd imagine a lot of people have the chat turned off with hud_saytext_time 0.
Muting them in voice also seems to mute them in text as well.
From my experience, people that repeatedly and obscenely shout at others to stfu and not use mics (especially if the adressed mic user isn't really squeaky-voiced or annoying) instead of just muting them are deliberately looking for an argument and a way to come across as ''badass tough guys'' that need to put kids in their place.
It's usually an obnoxious, abrasive 16-year old shouting at 12-year olds, and ignoring advice from more mature people to simply mute the offender. Despite their complaining, they actually secretly enjoy and relish the chance to spew insults at others and be the guy that wants to police the server, which makes them 10-times worse in my book (and any other grown up's, hopefully).
I think it's almost a scientific fact that anyone that responds to a kid's voice with an aggresive ''shut the fuck up'' is likely a complete ass and probably one of the more obnoxious people in a server.
Not that kids babbling random stuff or screaming into a mic can't be irritating, but you can just simply mute them efficiently and maturely instead of coming across as a far bigger douche.

Being antisocial in games is the new cool thing.

:/ They could have just had a bad day
Being antisocial on the internet is the new cool thing.
Fixed that for you.

I personally like meeting people on the internet.
The problem is the good people are few and far between, especially in this game.
I hate that it's almost impossible to find a low-skilled server so you can goof off for an evening. You always end up with the Hale's Own Scout and Soldier and Cloud 9 Medic on the opposite team and you have to stop being a shotgun heavy and have to start being the tryingest of tryhard soldiers just to survive and you end up stressing out and all you wanted to do is relax and goof off in your videogame.
You used to be able to just go to Valve servers and piddle about playing with ineffective loadouts, but now since seriously skilled players have nowhere else to get populated games you have to be fighting at peak efficiency almost all the time on them in order to not end up going 10:50.

Try Special Delivery servers (if you can stand the map) - there always seem to be generally very confused people in there. Not surprising considering they managed to join those servers, somehow.

Today I was scout and this spy was trying to shoot me, and I strafed literally only left and right for a good 15-20 seconds in front of him without shooting, before he finally managed to hit me.
Have you any idea how long 15-20 seconds is in game time? :D
Seriously goofing.
I hate how difficult it is to find a server that has a competent playerbase, good and varied map rotation, and no bullshit slot system (Looking at you, No Heroes.) It's a big shame that nobody's ever on star_'s server, because everyone there was a joy playing with. Oh well.
Just got finished playing in a pub where me and a friend ubered three times to destroy a sentry nest and half the enemy team.
...Only for our team to just hold back and not rush in because... whatever reason.
It's stuff like this that makes me miss community servers.

This is a thing now?
I remember when you could never get on at any time of day because it was always full.

Which do you mean? With no more heroes, it's always gonna be full in the afternoon, but with my past 8 months or so playing on star_'s, It would be populated at noon at least and there'd always be space.
Getting autobalanced on fucking dustbowl.

Play PLR valve servers (excluding Hightower). It tends to attract the lowest skill level people for one reason or another. Which is a shame, because I really like Nightfall.

It even has "rip stars" as the server bio. Nocrit, fixed spread, class limits, hlstats, cool maps (cp_process_final only 40% of the time).
I am honestly shocked people are still using the word "tryhard".
There is no such thing. Whining about people trying to do well in a game is one of the worst parts of the TF2 community. In my opinion there's not a single situation where "tryhard" doesn't really mean "waaaah he killed me!"
The vicious cycle of server ownership:
- Players join server
- You join server
- You kill players
- TheM1kke : ur fking noob u know that scrub :) / xXx_MLG_MrVlad207_MLG_xXx : wtf i not spelled I'm a tough guy who uses binds
- Player TheM1kke left the game (Disconnect by user.)
- No more players

Dude! I played with LSRainbow on star's server. nice to see him doing this, thanks for letting me know.

I tend to not call people tryhards, rather i prefer to call them my favorite insult, "Faggocini".
You know that Totally-Not-Farmed Hale's Own Unusual Professional Killstreak Flamethrower/Axtinguisher Pyro who keeps flarepunching while sporting 3 unusual hat effects spamming lennyfaces in chat with his buttbuddy quick-fix pocket and is reaching 200 points in the first 10 minutes of the map?
He's not tryharding, he's just a proud owner of the title Faggocini.

I believe the actual meaning of the word is for players who do unecessary actions in order to try to gather every little possible bit of edge to win, even though it doesn't really help or matter at all. Like spamming duckjumps or using universally frowned-upon weapons.
I think?
Tryhard is for when somebody better than you kills you and you get pissed about it for no reason.
There's nothing more to it.
that's the easy way out
Who thought that the ambassador would be a good idea
