Valve just remove this. It's not fun in any way shape or form to fight against.
Speaking of sappers, whenever you've died as Engineer and the game first spectates your buildings, and you see an enemy spy uncloak next to it.
Nothing out of the usual, but still there goes that effort.
Speaking of being dead and having your buildings sapped, I hate it when a friendly engineer ignores your stuff getting sapped and it ends up getting destroyed.
I hate how the generalization for Heavy is that he's retarded and goofy when it's really the opposite, especially in the comics.
People who complain about players capping on Hightower. It gets even worse when they start KICKING players for doing so.

Can't really blame players for that, at least not all of them and not them only. Valve themselves added several voice lines where he speaks of himself in third person which only reinforces that stereotype. And of course those SFM makers, including McVinnie and his "End of the Line" short, who literally cannot give Heavy any other role besides being a dumb retard. "Hahaha, look, he's fat, slow and dumb. Hahah, funny, right? HA!"
What is it with the Delfy-drones and being incredibly obnoxious? I'll admit, first time I see a teleporter trap or something that I haven't seen it is pretty amusing, but doing it over and over again? That's not even the real problem, the real problem is that if you ask why they are doing it or try to kick them in an otherwise intense game, their usual arguement is "ugh tryhard -.-" which is pants on head retarded in itself.
Basically anything you do in the game makes you a tryhard to these people if you're playing the objective.
I got called out for "ego-boosting" when I kept mowing down the enemy team because they were doing class rushes.
Hey, do whatever makes you enjoy the game more, but don't get upset if it doesn't work like you intended it to.
Someone tried to vote kick me because I mowed down their ENTIRE team as a Heavy (And yes, I do mean THEIR ENTIRE TEAM. ) when they all were rushing to the cart to win.
Their excuse was that "I was ruining his friend's fun and I should switch."
Luckily, the vote did not pass cause my team seemed to like me too much and wanted me to stay.
If I knew maining Heavy would mean "get fucking spit/shat on for each second you do good" I would have fucking mained Sniper or something.
hey medic with really low health, i dropped a sandwich in front of you, why are you dodging it, it's right in FRONT OF YOU, STOP DODGING THE DAMN THING

I've been checking out the profiles of people with the G.E.W.P. acronym in their names, exploit-abusers and self-proclaimed Delfy/NISLT fans while I play (just out of curiosity and to confirm my suspicions about these sorts of folks, for science), and you generally notice a pattern with most of them:
- part of SiN or Delfy's Steam Group
- likely in some dumb Hoovy/GEWP/other meme group
- plays G-Mod and might have HWM faces in their avatar
- in his early teens juding by grammar, voice and general attitude
- few hundred hours in the game, but already bored of it apparently and mostly plays just to grief and friendly around
- dedicated to griefing and exploit abuse to the point that they insist on doing it round after round and server to server for hours (I've seen the same certain guy or two in multiple different servers running Vanguard or Borneo, doing the same exploits over the course of a few days or even hours
Sometimes individuals or a handful of them will also ignore the fact that the whole server but them (3-4 people) keeps on playing normally despite their attempts to enforce going friendly or respecting arbitrary rules (such as not killing or only meleeing them) on the majority of the server. They'll keep running into areas with a firefight going on or fishing/Holiday punching you, then complain because you shot at them or didn't melee them 'honorably' despite the fact there's a gun-wielding teammate of theirs around shooting at me.
I know I'm grossly generalizing here, and take this rant only semi-seriously, but I really do believe most of the above two Youtubers' fanbase, especially the really obvious ones that reveal themselves as such, pretty much embody the mentality I most despise in pubs.
I'm pretty sure that for every relatively normal mature viewer of theirs that tries an exploit once or twice for a joke and then moves on, there's a legion of these little shits that will take an exploit they'd never be able to find or replicate themselves (they need specific instructions, obviously) and then keep doing it for dayso or weeks on end until it's patched. They could also fuck off to the nearest trade or ''fun''/achievement community server for a dose of friendlying and repetitive-meme spam with like-minded players, but they won't, cause I suspect they secretly get a kick out of annoying and disrupting regular servers with a majority that dislikes them.
What is GEWP
What is GEWP
i think it's oWn but more cancerous
How is that even possible
How is that even possible
most if not all of them are glitch abusers
also a NISLT fanclub
medics who run the quick-fix in competitive
bonus: the guy who was doing it was dropping so much he never got to use uber even though the advantage is that it builds faster

Sorry. :(
I tend to run Quick Fix the most out of any Medigun because better healing is more important to me personally than overheal, plus the ability to run as fast as a scout or jump halfway across the map with a soldier can be a pretty invaluable ability at times, all for the cost of an Uber that only makes you slightly invincible. I'll try and use the Medi-Gun more in comp if the general consensus is Quick-Fix sucks, though.

I turned a one sided stomp completely around with the short circuit in MM.
Zap all there explosive spam and have my teams soldiers and scouts take them out.
Also one shotting the enemy scouts, and scattergun sniping there med with crit o cola, negating all splash damage and still having insane dps with the soda popper, countersniping with DDS, and denying bombers with reserve shooters.
Tf2 is a competitively balanced game guys.

Don't worry, it wasn't you
The new fad of making everything all-class.
The new fad of making everything all-class.
I wouldn't mind it if it wasn't for the fact that the price of the cosmetics made all-class rise from 1.33-1.66 to 7-8 ref, usually without any warning.
Can we finally admit that Quick Fix and Vaccinator are unbalanced garbage?
Kritz and Uber are the only valid mediguns.
stress test just dissapeared for me

...stress test is about to begin?
you're in the US too so it's anywhere from 10AM-1PM for you there anyway
Have you guys ever noticed that youtube videos with custom thumbnails are seemingly only made by and for people who escaped from the govt labs where they grow Vine stars in formaldehyde vats? TF2 videos are no exception.
I seriously can't wrap my head around how everyone simultaneously decided to use the same Look At Me! Look At Me! bright color palette and goofy faces. Just looking at this screenshot of a thumbnail instinctively makes my mouse hand start scrolling down.

I think it's just a proven YT strategy that these sorts of goofy, bright color thumbnails with either a game character or the Youtuber himself's face stretched in some over-reacting facial expression attract more clicks from your average viewer (huge portions are kids and teens).
I think I read some article (either a proper study or a confession from someone in the know regarding YT traffic) that people like Pewdiepie have set the standards when it comes to making click-baity thumbnails for gaming YT videos (the ones that don't have boobs on them). You need to have a goofy face, a shitload of colors, a title with loads of exclamation marks, possibly some 'ironic' 420-Blaze-it-Snoop-Dogg-Smoke-weed-everday reference and you're likely to generate more clicks/views that way.
Hell, even some of the people I watch that generally aren't the kind of YT-ers to just do whatever the masses want and what's most popular with the viewers (STAR_, Game Grumps etc.) have had some cringey thumbnails in the past.
But honestly, I wouldn't really dwell too much on it, sometimes there's a decently entertaining video/Youtuber behind silly thumbnails. I think it's just good for them business-wise to make these sorta attention-grabbing thumbnails.

I remember more servers, with lower ping, and more players. I wonder what happened to them?

It occasionally fucks up and doesn't find local servers. Either just retry scanning for them or wait a bit for them to come back up before searching again.
So after reading this thread for two years regularly, I've decided to use the things you guys hate to try and use it to make my servers not shit.
Would any of you play on a serv like this:
- Runs competitive used vanilla and custom maps, with good quality extra ones thrown in for good measure
- No random crits or spread
- Reasonable class limits
- Minimum hour cap
- Auto filters for shitty binds
- Toxicity heavily banned
- Active admins
- No shitty advertisements (anywhere)
