could you please elaborate on this market glitch

bind f12 "disconnect"
advanced technique found!
I can't hit shit with the scatter any more.
I deleted and reinstalled TF2 after a config wouldnt let me tab before games to see the teams.
I installed a new fps config and it doesn't feel the same. I've also lost my sensitivity. Even 0,83 feels really quick and nothing feels comfortable. I can't rocket jump as well now either and my rockets seem to not do any damage when they should.
I dont get it.
disable vsync, check windows accel

What does that do mate?
It could just be that I have turned crap, but recently my accuracy really improved and I was getting a real feel for rocket jumping. Now I just, I don't know. So frustrating.

Medal system doesnt make any sense.

It doesn't make you a bad player but it would be your fault for having a low tour number by abusing an exploit.
Lets face it, lacking any other ranking system tour numbers are still the best way to gauge player skill at a glance. Sure, there are people that either do exploits for free tours or delete their badge and reset their tour number but chances are that person with 10 tours isn't going to be someone who actually has 400 tours worth of missions played.
so i was using the fist of steel and noticed they had a new swinging sound which was cool, but they still haven't bothered to change the fact that the massive metal fists smashing together make the same sound as the KGB being bumped together when you switch to them

Looks like it's tied to your rank. They're a rank lower than you, so it takes less to get a medal for them. Still kind of weird because it means that it's easier to get medals at lower ranks, but I guess it makes sense so that you don't end up with full medals every single round at higher skill levels, making them meaningless.

After connecting to a server, you put a ticket onto the market and set the price to really high to make sure nobody buys it and then you carry on with playing. After the mission is done you don't receive any loot but you also don't lose your ticket.

If you don't receive any loot, what's the bloody point? :v:

You get to play missions/Tours for free in an environment where at least some of the people are capable and offer you a decent chance to complete them?
For all the toxicity and stubborn forced adherence to the meta at times, I'd say that if you're forced to play MvM with randoms due to not having TF2 or MvM buddies, Mann Up servers still offer a better chance of beating Advanced/Expert misssions with randoms than Boot Camp.
Boot Camp servers are so grossly inept and full of kids/people with zero MvM experience, that expecting teams there to be able to tackle anything above Normal/Intermediate is futile.
If you don't receive any loot, what's the bloody point? :v:
Matchmaking of boot camp is awful and I'd rather play a regular mission with some friends instead of ending up on some infinite cash + 10 players server on a piss easy mission instead of ones I was looking for. And you can help people through more than one mission if you do not have enough tickets at hand.
And honestly, the loot system of Mann up is bit of a bitch so I stopped caring about it :v:
Yeah, I forgot to add that one of the reasons there's so many 10-man community MvM servers and ones with infinite money and the like is because they specifically cater to kids and complete TF2 beginners that can't really handle even Normal/Intermediate missions when 4-5 of them end up on the same server in Boot Camp.
Might sound harsh and demeaning, but I've tried being the guy that plays Boot Camp to help newer players learn and provide some basic explanations, but I really became jaded after months of literally having to deal with teams almost entirely made up of the 5th Snipers, 4th Spies and spawn-buillding Gibus Engies from regular Valve servers. Zero communication, zero english, zero paying attention to te kindest advice and suggestions etc.
Though I haven't tried Boot Camp in nearly a year, I doubt it's become any better, since the game's general demographics and the fact that most of the experienced MvM players have either stopped playing the mode or moved to Mann Up almost ensures that you end up with teams that need to be carried heavily by 1 or 2 guys to even finish a Normal mission.
Not sure if Boot Camp even performs the useful role of the 'practice to get better' MvM mode nowadays, because from experience, I highly doubt your average BC player actually learns much, and they still mostly rely on one or two guys carrying them. Is the guy that's beaten a few Normal missions as a hatch-building Engie or terrible Sniper while being carried by a Heavy or Soldier doing 60+ % of the team's kills really even remotely ready for Advanced/Expert?
It's not even that players are bad on Boot Camp (which is a problem), but I don't think I've ever finished a mission on there simply because people constantly leave.
Boot camp: Try to give advice to players with no MvM experience. Get called an Elitist and to go back to Mann Up.

Mann Up: Trying to give a 0 - 1 tour advice on loadouts due to no MvM experience. Gets called a sad prick for having 50+ tours.
I give up...

what would I ever do without my 15000th weapon drop or my 0,001 cent ks kit oh no
Ho boy! I can't wait to play some competitive TF2 on this ideal serv...

mm is killing me with these teammates
"two meds is really bad"
"pyro is good"
"don't ever use the quickfix"
they say it like they know what they're talking about
then have no idea how to rollout
or protect their med
or do anything apparently
it's really annoying because they're always the majority yet they have no idea what they're talking about and of course we lose
bleh
What is up with ALL THE PUBS I am entering these days?
I mostly do good, sure. But that makes my team help me less so it becomes a fight against 3 guys vs 12 guys on a KOTH map, which makes it all the more fucking unbearable.
I do get to stomp them, but not without losing half of my patience and deciding "Fuck it, I am going to quit now."
Basically, people that stop helping once they realize they can still win without doing a thing cause this guy right here is doing everything with 2 other people :v:
Mannpower.
Not just some parts of it. The entire bloody gamemode. What in the fuck is it supposed to be? I don't know. And I suspect not even devs had any idea when they came up with this shit. I mean, there's a power up that hurts anyone who tries to kill the one wielding the power up and it also gives them 400HP in a game THAT'S ABOUT KILLING ENEMIES. The fact some development time went into this pile of shit instead of fixing this broken ass game infuriates me to whole new level.

Mannpower to me feels like it should be played solely with the mercenary from TF2C. It'd make much more sense with a single class that's purely basic instead of the widely swinging stats of the various classes. Also, spies with haste/agility can go eat a big floppy horse cock -.-.

I still can't believe this is an actual official game mode, it's such a clusterfuck. Meanwhile arena doesn't even get to be on officials servers. What were they thinking?

Its my opinion that mannpower was conceived in about 5 days after the huge negative backlash at End of the Line, and valve was stuck with it ever since.
Its really a terrible mode.
Isn't it a near clone of a quake game mode ?

We went four engies and wrecked the other team anyway, while he got 0 points :v:
Isn't it a near clone of a quake game mode ?
With all of the parts that made it fun taken out.
Isn't it a near clone of a quake game mode ?
quake doesn't have everyone bar one class run at 1 mile/hour with gigantic hitboxes to make sure even misses land.
was just playing, noticed that i was barely running into the enemy team because my team was completely steamrolling them and barely letting them out of their spawn, so i switch to reverse the roll and then i see why the team was doing so fucking horrible
[t]http://i.imgur.com/l6nPjYo.jpg[/t]
this was taken before one of the snipers became the fifth spy, i know this gets posted alot but i still cannot understand how people can think ''oh hey theres so many of <class>, i'm gonna be <class> aswell''
still ended up stomping my former team by myself, felt like it was really a 1 v 12 match.
atleast the engineers sorta contributed, even if every sentry was at the same place.
You stomped an entire team? Jeez :D
Nice job.
I really do not understand the people in MM that are like "don't use crit a cola it's gay" or "don't use quickfix it's dumb"
If they think the items are OP wouldn't they WANT people to magically become death merchants simply by using those items so they get nerfed??
