I play scout and top the scoreboard with ridiculous KDs almost everytime i play, and im having a hard time telling if the tf2 community is getting worse, or im just getting insulted more than others. I feel like get a lot of hate directed towards me, and sometimes get even more nastier comments on the more 'vocaler' of shittalkers. I sometimes feel ashamed of doing good or feel anxious when i get a godlike killstreak and just expect there to be an asshole to insult me in chat. Tbh the only reasons i still play this game is because of the feeling of pride i get knowing im better than all of the assholes who are worse than me and because this is the only game i feel confident that im good at

Mumble or Skype for the win! For random cooperation on pubs default voice commands work fine (at least for me). Damn, i love them, i even combine them with Mumble or Skype!

I gotta deal with satellite internet provider's just horrible badnet.

Was just on a 2fort_classic server having a very casual game, when the Spy on the other team starts bragging: "haha, u guys aren't killing me i'm using deathringer' 'YOU WILL NEVER KILL ME', etc. One kill later and I'm dominating him (showing he was lying in the first place). He goes spectate and rejoins his team to clear the domination, then says "I hate playing against noobs" "and kids like ambax". I call him a sore loser and move on. A few minutes later my friend on my team is dominating him too. Same trick: spectates to clear his domination before returning to his team. He then changes to Demo and spends the remainder of the round sitting in the spawn and laying [completely ineffective] sticky traps directly outside the door. The one time he does manage to actually kill me with one (assisted by a Soldier), he taunts from inside the spawn. Round ends with melee-only sudden death, and once his teammates are wiped out he switches to spectate and we win. Just so he wouldn't be killed by us. His name was General Mike. And he was a tit.

A Spy pushed me off the teleporter. At least I didn't get backstabbed in the process this time. Though still ticked off that I hit crockets just as I was popping my uber twice today. I was playing soldier and I was low on health and in the room above our final point waiting for the large health to spawn. A spy uncloaked behind me but I heard him and I bombed the both of us to prevent him from backcapping or something. He then started saying in chat that this was his plan all along, that I'd explode myself. Later I accidentally picked up a health kit when a teammate needed it more, so I said "sorry" in chat, and this spy thought I said it to him and he kept saying that he did it intentionally, he completed his mission, and he called me "soldier boy" which made me laugh out loud, but I'm pretty sure he was just trying to piss me off after being angry at himself for failing his backstab attempt.

A Soldier would spam lenny faces after every kill, not just put one and then leave it. Instead, HE WOULD FLOOD THE CHAT WITH THEM FOR 3 SECS. Later, while he was hiding behind a sentry nest. I shot him and the sentry nest from far away with the Loch N Load. Causing me to get a domination on him. He went Sniper to try and kill me, but no dice. He would keep on running at me when i had my Eyelander out. It went on for a while, he switched to Puff N Sting Pyro, Gunslinger Engi (as if that was going to work) and some other classes. Which then he ended up going Heavy. You know what he did? He started shooting me when there were so many people infront of him that were shooting their guns at him. Thankfully i had full health so i was able to get away. He then proceeded to call me a "pussbag" and started tunnelvisioning me. Which ended up with me and him going for a melee fight, he ended up trying to run away in the last second. But ended up dying. He called me a "tryhard shitbag that taunts after every kill" and placed a lenny face at the end then left. I know i should feel good about this sweet victory, but i seriously feel sad for him. I mean, he was spamming lenny faces after each kill and was calling ME a tryhard that taunts after every kill even though i taunted ONCE and that was when he lost the melee fight and that was to give him his own medicine. I just feel mad about the poor soul that was sitting behind pc believeing that spamming lenny faces was ok but taunting after a kill wasn't.

How could anyone voluntarily play medic on a valve server? It's got to be the single most frustrating thing I've ever experienced in TF2.

The fact that a lot of people despise saturated color paints for some reason. Just like, any color that's saturated and vibrant. Nooo it for some reason doesn't fit the game's theme. Needs more brown, needs more puke green. Needs more slate gray and monotone colors. Why even have colors if they aren't sharp and visible?

And you're name is #1 MVP for your accomplishments during the round. For the 99% of other times, I just go Soldier and Demo.

when you're doing a contract that requires you to play a no-power class when everyone else is also playing a no-power class like seriously guys I'll play the pubstomping soldier after this but could a couple of you play that class so that I can finish my scout contract without having to worry about getting rolled

Pink can be okay in some instances, like if it's not clothing or beards. Lime though has no place in this game whatsoever, there is already a green color that's suitable enough. I suppose Valve doesn't want to get rid of them (if they ever thought about it) because they don't want to take away what people paid for.

I kept dying before I even found anyone to heal and if I did they rocket jumped away from me. Nevermore (unless my friends play with me).

To be honest, I find almost all the paints to be rather unpleasantly clashing.
