It makes sense, you just either don't understand, or you don't agree with the conclusions I'm drawing. Either way, I've said my piece, so let's just agree to disagree.
I'm disagreeing with your conclusions because your math isn't a realistic gameplay expectation. Your very specific situation has two hypothetical Snipers damaged to low hp, then there's a weird Medic around who buffs one to full health and the other to less than that. Why? Medics are racist against DDS Snipers, and the Snipers are allergic to healthpaks. But it means they're both now at the same HP! Did you know that if a DDS Sniper would have the exact same HP as a default Sniper for some convoluted reason he'd die earlier to explosives? Well, yeah.
when a cheater is carrying a team in MM but they're not good enough to win, so the other 11 people on the server are forced to stalemate for 15 minutes and play the "who's gonna bite the bullet and abandon so we can leave" game
the best part is when that hacker has 3000 hours and somehow hasnt been reported or taken down yet [sp]rip hux, took one for the team[/sp]

From the Steam page:
VAC does not ban based on reports. Such data is only used for tracking and statistics purposes.
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=1010-TOKN-8461
So, I tried to trade someone for a Spycicle and Ambassador. It all went well, he got his two scrap, and I got my two shiny weapons. Actually, that's not how it went. How it DID go is that i'm waiting fifteen days for my two weapons. The whole reason I traded for those weapons is so I could have them now. I have a very strong feeling in the two weeks it'll take for the trade to leave Purgatory, i'll have already found those weapons. This whole thing about the market/trade hold in general annoys me, although that might be more or less related to Steam and not TF2 itself.
I don't get the whole "WM1" hate with the pyro. So that pyro flamed you a lot, big fuckin deal. If you get mad at a pyro just for flaming then you're missing the point of that class. and besides, pyros usually are pretty easy to beat when they don't airblast you. Blaming them for WM1ing is you trying to hide the fact that you got rekt by a noob and that's no one's fault but your own (or a teammate not helping you, context etc.).
What annoys me is more the way they hit me when I think they shouldn't be able to. But I guess you're right. It's probably the frustration factor of knowing that you let them kill you easily. I think it provides an interesting alternative playstyle to come against though, rather than every pyro airblasting all the time.
Friendlies.
Friendlies.
I just don't understand what possesses people to spend their time doing that. How is it fun?
It's fun in the sense that - when it works - you're managing to communicate nonverbally with someone else and convince them to take a minute, step back from all the chaos and fervor of serious competition, and just pause to reflect on and enjoy aspects of the game which we tend to overlook in the heat of battle. And that's kind of impressive if you think about it. It's essentially stopping to smell the flowers, and to share a bit of simple good will and human comaraderie. It's a reminder that even though the game is arguably "meant" to be played a certain way, that in the end that's just a suggestion and not a rule. It shifts your perspective, gets you out of a rut you didn't even realize you were stuck in, and lets you appreciate the things you take for granted and don't give proper thought or attention to. It reminds you that even in the midst of competition, we're all still people, and we all should take the time now and then to do things a little differently, and not lose ourselves in habit and routine. You could just as easily ask why did the soldiers of the first World War stop fighting on Christmas and cross the trenches peacefully to share food and sing carols together? These were men who just hours before were doing everything they could to murder each other, who were fighting to achieve the destruction of each other's countries and homes, and in just a few more hours they'd all be killing and dying again by the hundreds, so why did they stop for a bit? It was ultimately pointless from the point of view of waging the war, so why bother to do it at all? Even pointless things can have meaning if you choose to value them. And while TF2 is absolutely not comparable to real warfare, the same underlying human need to just sometimes stop struggling and competing still exists in both scenarios. People are creatures of habit, but that can lead to us missing out and losing perspective. Sometimes it's just healthier and happier to stop for a bit and go against the established expectations and "rules" of a situation.

I just consider it a waste of my time.
being "friendly" is alright if it's a spur of the moment thing and not going into a server to specifically play passively by that i mean the rare special moments when you and an enemy stop firing and decide to taunt at eachother or something
tl;dr G. Verloren is a girly hippie peacenik.
And I'll beat the crap out of anyone who says otherwise!
all this friendly talk is nice and all but I killed a friendly today with the phlog and he kept calling me a no skill piece of shit cunt???? every person who dominated him he'd put their names in the chat with things like "x and x are no fun pricks" or whatever. He wouldn't even try fight back. he was demanding I did something else to show my skill with a different class but I told him it's hard to display skill on a target that isn't doing anything but being a free fuel source. he refused to answer when i asked him why he expected to not be killed by anyone as well. skip to next map straight after, where he's damn pissed and actually playing the game now (hey my plan worked) but with all his talk about skill I'd expect him to be at least worth his salt in some way but he sucks so bad? he isn't even that good? at all? he couldn't make it past the halfway point of the scoreboard I was playing many classes but he just couldn't do squat. He'd always tunnel-vision and go for me, and once when I spoke up in the chat (I offered to give somebody a free comp beta pass no strings attached) he called me a "piece of shit scammer, don't believe that garbage" after I said the person just needed their phone to be set up (which, without the mobile authenticator, you can't play comp). once another guy in the server quickly piped up and told him I was telling the truth, he insulted us both and then shortly left the game at the end of the map. why do people do this??????? why they get so worked up over things that don't matter?????? I guess another thing that annoys me is how much I manage to get people upset ingame. I don't even SAY anything. Or do anything at all. Don't provoke anybody unless I gotta respond to someone directly talking to me. I just play the game how I usually do and be polite to others and help out when I can. But somehow I always get picked as a big target for the enemy because I can play the game and I've had things like "I GOT HIM FUCK YOU!!" in chat. I can't get affected by people taunting or anything because nothing that happens ingame realistically matters so I just sort of. Look at the stuff and sometimes respond light-heartedly, but most often than not I just don't do anything and wait until I respawn like anyone should tbh. The amount of times I've had people call me out for 'hacking' or just generally try insult me for some reason when playing like, soldier with the beggars or something, is actual unbelievable agony. just let me play the game i don't even have a stable fps or a big computer the phlog isn't even that good or hard to counter anyways
Friendlies overall suck if they are friendlies in any sort of pub and not in a friendly server. So do not expect them to be good at the game most of the time
Wanted to do some surf but the only populated server with good ping is currently being attack by trolls who keep extending the time on fucking buck wild. It's been stuck on buck wild for 5 hours now, how the fuck is that even possible? [editline]7th April 2016[/editline] to top it off I joined a steel server which was getting pub stomped. Cause, you know, ruining everyone else's fun is great...
Friendlies.
I'm fine with them in those rare moments when it's just like two to four people messing around out of the way of everything. When it gets to being the whole server because two of them started doing it I have to find a new server.
For fuck sake, why isn't there a one-time Extend Map vote in Valve's voting system. I've been stuck in a god damn Dustbowl for like 2 hours because people kept voting for Extending it. I want to play other maps, no one wants to play the same god damn thing over and over again. That's where 24/7 Dustbowl servers are for!
There really needs to be a limit to the amount of times the "extend current map" vote can be cast on a single map session. But then again after the whole "disable autobalance" vote thing I don't really trust the current TF2 team to fiddle with the vote system.
Could you not just join another server though? I suppose that sometimes you get in a good and balanced server and so don't want to risk joining another one that's rubbish.
What annoys me more is that the only payload race map that gets played now is the worst one. [editline]7th April 2016[/editline] Speaking of map types, I've been thinking of ways of making Territory control not suck. Instead of individual rounds, the TC map (basically just hydro really) is opened up from the beginning EXCEPT for the final caps on each team's bases which are locked until one side has 3 or more CP capped. A bit like a reverse version of Steel. The only problem I can think of is that if only 3 points are capped by one team and the other caps one, it would cancel the winning cap, but then again that adds incentive to also capture the 4th CP. If you want to get real fancy I guess you could have certain areas open and close as they get captured, but that would be a pain in the ass to balance.
I really dislike seeing allies through walls because it makes it incredibly easy to where the enemy spies are at a glance when you spawn. It feels kind of unfair when I see a suspiciously slow scout meandering towards our spawn through a wall and stick an arrow through him as he turns the corner. I assume this change was to help players who are unfamiliar with a map's layout find their way to the action (I myself have seen many players wander in the completely wrong direction on longer maps) but most half decent maps are designed to help you find your way with giant arrows and whatnot, and it takes like 20 minutes to learn a map's layout somewhat anyways.

I was in a valve server running dustbowl for three hours. Why is it even an option that the extensions can go over an hour? That said why do people always vote yes on those but when it comes to kicking the aimbotter they never even vote?
Met a couple of hackers ,I tried to call them out but they were flooding the chat with LMAObox binds and when I started a vote it failed immediately :^(
If you pass a map change vote, the server will change map no matter how many times they start time extension votes.
Lenny faces/ Almost every bind known to man- Joined a upward server, worst mistake ever. The entire chat was constantly being spammed with Lenny faces by all most all of our team and theirs. If you tried to communicate with your team it would be swallowed Immediately by binds (Including a fake LMAO. Sometimes I just wish valve gave us an option to disable binds on a server or make an advanced option so it filters out binds so you can't see them (Something like that).
