Stuff that Annoys you in TF2: MS Paint Crocket Edition

Next name tag I get I'm gonna rename my Sydney Sleeper to AWP.
God good, fuck Pyro and his unlocks.
Reserve Shooter rewards you for airblasting people over and over again.
Axtinguisher and Flare Gun rewards you for hitting burning people, when they should be if you're a Pyro.
Phlogistinator gets crits for too little damage for Pyro's DPS, and you can just spam two players with a Scorch Shot and get it imadeatly.
Neon Annihilator punishes the enemy for being in fucking water. I am fine with the coated in jarate or milk part, cause you have to have a Scout with the milk or a Sniper with the jarate. But why punish players for being in a part of the map?
Even with the nerf, The Degreaser still allows people to pull of these shitty gimmicks easier.
On top of all that, it's on the most annoying class in the game.
I apogolize to any Pyro main out there, but I do not like a class with the flame hitboxes of 2 and a half Heavies have weapons that rewards him with crits for doing his job which is also broken due to the hitboxes AND have a weapon that allows him to get free crits faster.
Seriously, they have to entirely re-work Pyro's arsenal or his flame hitboxes atleast for me to actually like the class' gameplay.
Not a pyro main but I usually run reserve shooter and I definitely feel vulnerable to anything that isn't less than 10 yards away.
I also feel like other players (pubs) don't know how to play with a friendly pyro. They run all over the place when on fire, they expect you to do ALL spychecking, and they get in the way when you're airblasting prokectiles.
I do feel like flare gun is a bit ridiculous in the right hands.

Reserve Shooter is bad when your in a large group of people, it's annoying when it's 1 or 2 people vs Pyro. Pyro can just airblast you and reserve shooter you over and over again when your alone, and in the other case he will burn down one of the players and do the exact same airblast+reserve shooter before the players are able to put out damage enough to kill the Pyro.
Basically, Reserve Shooter is bad when you are caught in a group of people but it annihilates 1 or 2 people with no sweat.
shotgun is getting rare on pyros nowadays and it's hilarious
seen 3 enemy pyros with the flare type animation on my screen at a time last night
I wish pyros would use the shotgun again. I'm so sick of pyros just thoughtlessly tossing scorch shots across the map.

Yeah, half the time I know they're as good as dead as soon as they're in airblast range. I don't think the reserve shooter is OP as such, I think it's perhaps the airblasting that is the issue. Being a scout and getting blown straight up is infuriating.
On the flip side, flame damage is inconsistent. Yesterday I was burning a sniper for maybe 5 seconds and he lived. 5 secs is a long ass time.

There's no incentive for them to.
Even just setting people alight causes panic, and obviously there is the crit advantage. Shotty is a good damage output weapon but gives no real advantage imo.
I swear if i see an another AWPer hand named "AWP" and nothing else i'm gonna lose my shit.
Could at least name it like an AWP skin or anything else.
I know this is nitpicky but why is this so common?
Because Counter Strike, I guess. Still, it's better than weapon names like "Git Gud", "Deez Nutz" and "Poon Slayer", which are seen far too commonly.
I kind of wish there was a blacklist of the most common offensive names and phrases, and that if you tried to enter them on your weapon nametag it'd just delete the nametag. Then you have to go talk to Valve customer support and explain that your tag disappeared because you were acting like a total douchebag, and could you pretty please have it undeleted? And they give you a second chance, because that's only fair right? But if you blow that chance and try that bullshit again, it just deletes your entire inventory.

I have more ammo loaded than Reserve Shooter and I deal more damage than any flares. That's some good advantages right here.
EDIT: Oh and also i don't have to reload in each shot, compares to flares.
In most cases, the flare gun actually deals more damage.
A point blank shotgun blast deals 80-90.
A medium range shotgun blast deals 10-30.
A long range shotgun blast deals 3-10.
A single flare deals 30 damage on hit, plus 60 afterburn damage, for a total of 90 at any range.
At long and medium range, flare gun wins hands down. At extreme close range, they deal equal total damage, but the shotgun shoots faster and doesn't deal damage over time so it wins. But if you're at extreme close range as a Pyro, why wouldn't you just use the Flamethrower instead? Shotgun on Pyro makes very little sense.

To let em panic even more when they are outside my Flamethrower's range. People lose their shit when I Shotgun them down when they are burning.
Or you could, ya know, hit them with a flare for an automatic 90 damage crit since they're on fire? And refresh the afterburn duration as well, adding another 60 damage over time?
Carrying the shotgun solely for use at medium-close range just outside of the flamethrower's reach is pretty ridiculous. It does about the same amount of damage as flares at that range, and it does less damage at every further range.
The only real benefit of the Shotgun is it is easier to aim, and the ammo reserve punishes you less for missing. If you can aim well, the Flare Gun is flatly superior.
not vs pyro
not vs pyro
So you're going to equip a weapon that is worse against 8 out of 9 classes, purely so you can be more effective at the very specific distance of "just beyond flamethrower range"?
I mean... if you really want to? Whatever's fun for you, I guess. Heck, I play Demoknight with the Half-Zatoichi, even though it's definitely a handicap against most classes. But at least I admit it's pretty badly suboptimal.
hitscan's always better than projectiles no matter of a fit you might wanna have
whoops I clicked agree by mistake. the crit on burning target is the most fun part! you either had to have good enough aim to hit them once with the flare, or they were within flamethrower range and ran away in order to get the crit hitting them. Pyro has no finishing power without shotgun or flare crits. You give up so much with the det and scorch.

you can't deny a chokepoint with hitscan, except maybe minigun fire or an engie pistol.
You can just refresh to re-rate a post
Community gets silly sometimes.
What really gets me is the lenny face. Good grief muting mutes the chat as well.
Kids on community servers are annoying as well, I mean. Parents should take care of their 8-10 years old children, right? Sometimes that's the problem, I honestly have no hopes in the future.
If no stress parenting means you don't do ANYTHING as a parent I really doubt anything will be better.
(that kinda became rant, gotta love the EU parents "thinking"... or should I rather call it no parenting at all. I'm 22 myself and I really hope something suddenly pops in that generation. I know it should be TF2 but whatever. Keep it ontopic guys. :v:)
The crits on burning target aspect of the flare gun needs to be nerfed or removed tho
Hahaha.
No.
Had a few obnoxious turds in various games today who would spam 'EZ' after every kill because they were topping the leaderboards (usually pocketed by people with similar names).
Well done, you're topping a pub with a crits medic as a demo, and you still didn't win.
when people say zap instead of sap
zap ze zentries
When people say turret instead of sentry.
I wish pyros would use the shotgun again. I'm so sick of pyros just thoughtlessly tossing scorch shots across the map.
It's funny, I'm one of the rare shotgun-using Pyros and both when I've used it in comp and in pubs, the reaction is basically confusion over why I am using it as they are anticipating it instead being a reserve shooter and assume I don't have a 6 clip. (i.e. since most of the comp pyros I've seen use a flare gun of some kind, seeing a shotgun being pulled on them in a way that isn't puff 'n sting seemed to be completely new as an experience to them despite this happening at a silver level when I had played that class a handful of times)
Super underrated secondary on pyro.
when people say zap instead of sap
Zap that century.
Comp is literally a gamble.
You as an individual have no control over whether you win or lose.
It lulls you in with a few matches where people are pleasant and communicate, makes you think "oh, maybe I'll actually beat this poorly implemented rank system this time and eventually escape from being Fresh Meat!"
But if you play when school's out, you've already lost.
Say hello to every memekid and shitter who's never played the game before.
Get ready to play on a team with three terrible Scouts and a Medic who can't aim with the Crossbow and only heals the Soldier with the Unusual (who, out of the three Soldiers on the server, still manages to be the fifth best Soldier on the server).
Get ready for an ordeal of ten second lives followed by fifteen second respawns.
I don't think I've ever played in a rank system that makes me consider abandoning as a viable option.
It's a system so broken, that I actually think maybe I should do the objectively mean thing, or else the game will steal my hard-earned rank for no reason.
I love Valve for gussying up all these hats and putting Hydro back in rotation, but fuck man, when are they going to fix the one part of this Beta that literally EVERYONE has a problem with?
The part of their matchmaking system that should NEVER have even been a possibility in the first place?
A shotgun pyro kills a flare gun pyro pretty handedly.

I did not say remove it, jeez. I only said re-work crit gimmicked weapons he has so it's either
A) Harder to pull off
B) Allows the enemy to react and attack back before art thou 90 crit smack.
Or just change the degreaser to be the old version with less switch speed.

Honestly this all sounds exactly like the issues with playing with randoms on the higher difficulties on MvM. All the fucks who've never played a mission of MvM outside of one of those infinite money servers jumping into Two Cities because they think an aussie is a guaranteed drop at the end of the mission can kindly go fuck themselves.

So... out of curiosity how do you feel about those of us who don't use any of those weapons?
(I stick to stock, shotgun, Homewrecker/Lollichop mostly :V)
