Backpack management. Out of all the things you can do when selecting multiple items, you can't move them all at once. You have to instead move everything one by one, which makes sorting your backpack unnecessarily tedious. Also gotta love when I swap items and the item magically moves to the slot the other item previously was.
Weapons designed to give their classes speed boosts on deployment. In particular, the Escape Plan and Powerjack (ones that act like buffs or require cooperation, like the Concheror or Disciplinary Action, are ok to me, though). I don't think any class should actually have access to free cowardice handholding, let alone the asinine speeds you get with the Escape Plan that make it the pubstomper's killstreak-maintaining wet dream when combined with a concheror and pocket medics. I swear they make me saltier and more resentful than weapons that are actually outright broken just because of how significant the speed changes alter hit registration, the ability to take down escapists in a crowd and avoiding being chased down by a non-light class.
Eh, iirc all weapons like that also have a damage vulnerability, so it doesn't actually help them escape from any kind of serious fire. They mostly just let you get back to your team's lines after you've already killed the enemy but were left with low health from the fight. Like, I don't think I've every gotten frustrated at seeing a soldier pop out the Escape plan, it's pretty much 100% of the time just a free kill at that point.
they need to merge duckjumps and normal jumps together already. it's done in L4D and CSGO. it's so embarassing to see these demo mains with their duckjump scripts

Like when?
Like when?
When airstrafing.
As several weeks have passed since the introduction of Stat clocks for Civilian skins, I decided to buy a couple of them: 6 ref each... I told myself "I'm not paying this price. I'll make my own clocks!" Then I noticed that the cheapest Strange weapons were now worth 1 ref. (tripling their original price). I thought "I'll still make a gain if I craft it". I regret this decision. It has been weeks since I started searching and I still don't have enough Stranges for a Stat clock. On top of that, the prices are going up. It's incredible and despairing how tight is the market. Valve should really release new Strange weapons in a crate (with unwanted ones for crafting fodder if possible).
When airstrafing.
Can you name an example? I don't recall there ever being a time where you don't want to be crouching when airstrafing.
Can you name an example? I don't recall there ever being a time where you don't want to be crouching when airstrafing.
You should do it more.
There is actually one circumstance where you do not want to be crouching. When you're landing from a large-ish fall, you'll take more fall damage if you're crouching because you're falling farther before you hit the ground. Merging them would actually be a slight nerf to advanced mobility classes. Ofc it would lower the skill floor a little too.
When you're playing as a ninjaneer on turbine and you get a nice little nest set up on the other team's balcony and suddenly - you get autoballanced! Now you're getting raped by the team you were once helping. Bummer!
You should do it more.
So you don't actually have an example?
[t]http://i.imgur.com/UF9OvqK.jpg[/t] 27 crate opening binge. Soooo... TF is sending me quite a few messages here.
I've never been that fond of strange cosmetics. leveling them seems like more of a passive thing showing how long you've worn them, rather than an active "I've actively killed __ people with this gun/shovel/jar of who-knows-what", but for some reason they're the only version of most cosmetics I can even find simply because they can be put up on the market. So my question here is, why can strange, vintage, genuine, and unusual cosmetics be bought off the market, but plain old unique ones can't? The only way to even get most cosmetics in the game is to either A: get lucky crafting one, B: pay through the nose to some trader with 30 of them, or C: buy one for ridiculous markup out of the in-game store. I mean for crying out loud, nobody in their right mind would pay 12.99 for a virtual hat.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/UF9OvqK.jpg[/t] 27 crate opening binge. Soooo... TF is sending me quite a few messages here.
To be fair, most people need to play more Medic.

I really feel like people vastly overestimate how much the passive regen does for you on the conch. It's active is really powerful, but unless you completely remove yourself from a fight long enough to heal then the regen isn't going to make a whole lot of a difference.
Man, fuck the Red Tape Recorder.
So you don't actually have an example?
There are a couple of situations, for example when you want to start a pogo, especially from a higher ground to lower, crouching means you will be too far away from the blast radius to get enough height and distance to keep up a pogo and if you delay your rocket you just end up building up enough speed that when you hit the ground you're probably going to bounce off it too hard and end up in an unsustainable pogo. Sometimes you drop a crouch midair early so that you land on a platform rather than going past it as you might if you were crouched. Crouching after a jump can cause you to take fall damage in situations you otherwise wouldn't. I think if people are struggling with hitting Ctrl and Space at the same time, it'd be best if they worked on their coordination than having a very simple combination simplified for them.
I hate how almost 80% of snipers wear the Anger or the Villain's Veil, I hate those hats almost as much as I hate the class.
I hate how almost 80% of snipers wear the Anger or the Villain's Veil, I hate those hats almost as much as I hate the class.
Those still are around? I personally haven't seen any in a long while. It seems like it's everything else than those.
Haven't really seen many Anger/Veil Snipers in the last few years, but they were very common back in 2011-2013, and I've always felt like it was primarily the fashion choice of teens/early adolescents looking to be mysteriously edgy & cool and totally morally ambiguous. Neither really fits the Sniper's character as it makes him look like some sort of postapocalytpic trope or a cyberpunk poser.
I hate how almost 80% of snipers wear the Anger or the Villain's Veil, I hate those hats almost as much as I hate the class.
For me it's how I see so many players wearing the Bruisers Bandanna painted some eyebleed color.
Faced an ambassador spy who was insanely good with headshots. It was a nightmare, even as scout.
they need to merge duckjumps and normal jumps together already. it's done in L4D and CSGO. it's so embarassing to see these demo mains with their duckjump scripts
No because that would make some sticky and rocket jumps weird or impossible, plus it would break some surfs. In short it would take away players' control. If you want to take that control away from yourself, use a script, but others who actually are better at air control will definitely feel the difference.
Just watched Muselk's latest video (I know, I know, sorry). The amount of crits he gets with the ubersaw is just stupid.

I thought it was going to be easy to just kill 1 of them. Oh God. I was so wrong. The amount of critical hits that thing gives is unbelievable; nobody in our team could get them. Ironically, I took them with a crocket.

I say all jumps should automatically be duckjumps even without pressing two keys, not the other way around. Kinda like when they made pistols autofire because it was an inconvenience.

They're quick too so they both just charge you and you can't backpedal quick enough. It's pretty silly that it can crit at all imo, especially considering it builds uber and you can stop ubering, melee to gain extra uber, and start ubering again ad nauseum,
