literally no reason for taunts to not function in mid-air. taunts cancelling because of user not touching the ground is some obsolete thing from another era that has zero purpose anymore (if it ever did).
not use gunboats. that's literally the downside of using them; no close range damage without self-harm or using melee. [editline]13th May 2016[/editline] its because you cant taunt in water. similar things happen if you use bonk or fall off a ledge from momentum while eating.
The self-damage doesn't really bother me. It's more that a spy can just run up in your face and kill you when you're already engaged without even hitting you and yet you hit him direct and he lives. Imo spies should have very low health and rely entirely on stealh. Proper spy type stuff.

You're in thirdperson and it just keeps going. what's in the current build (our game right now) is where its abuseable and/or obnoxious.

[editline]13th May 2016[/editline]
What's the alternative? Let him stab/shoot me to death?
Shoot the ground next to him and kill him with splash damage?

Like I'll shoot a metre or two behind him and it will still kill me and not him. When I'm at 80 health that just seems odd considering he's meant to be a stealth class. Imo as soon as you see a spy it should be game over. At close range anyway.
what Rocket Launcher are you using?
Just stock. Obvs DH would one shot him right
So, I was on a server where there some people talking about how the new Mayflower cosmetics were shit (which is debatable), but there was one person who stated that "If I unboxed a Skullcap, I would just delete it. But if it was Strange, I would sell it." I told them "Why would you sell something when you can gain like 50 dollars or so on the market?" Apparently she was claiming to be rich and "savage" and didn't care about 50 dollars. Why would someone just throw away money like that? I know it's their item and they can somewhat take it in their own hands to do what they want with it, but just because you don't like it, does not you have to throw it away like trash. She didn't even mention anything about giving away or selling it. Just literally deleting it. [sp]The worst part of this situation was when she did decide to unbox 3 Mayflower cases, she got a Demo's Dustcatcher, Gauzed Gaze, and the Squire's Sabaton. That's when she want to sell them. But clearly a 50 dollar or so item is not worth keeping and straight up deleting.[/sp]
She's all talk

One day I was playing comp with 6 people on the TF2 discord, and I came to a personal conclusion. I personally think that medic is a bit too powerful at what he does. The easiest and the most effective way to counter the medics healing abilities is by having a medic yourself. Sure there are other ways to deal with it, such as having a sniper or a spy who have insta-killing abilities, but having a medic is much easier and effective, as evidenced by many competitive matches.

Sure there are other ways to deal with it, such as having a sniper or a spy who have insta-killing abilities, but having a medic is much easier and effective, as evidenced by many competitive matches.
That's the thing with Medic, he's deliberately designed to be that powerful. Overheals and ubercharges are a real gamechanger for how team-based pushes and general deathmatch are handled. His high priority dictates how enemies tackle ambushes and decide when to make a tactical retreat. His existence brought about respawn waves which will keep players spawning together and unintentionally buddying up for the walk to the front line, making spawn-picks more difficult to pull off as it'll be hard to do it without getting caught by the other player. Advanced mobility becomes more ingrained into combat with buffers of health to work with. Game flow keeps itself at a steady pace instead of having players waiting for health packs to respawn. Players are more willing to take a dive into the action with health to spare instead of getting spooked from losing a chunk of health and retreating immediately from any locked down corridors. Medic's strength is a necessity for how the game was built given the disparity in class usefulness. While it's not the same as the classic Medic, his capped combat potential forces a symbiosis between players which in-general makes for an essential team-based bonding in a team-based game. Your observation is a bit of a short-sighted one. You could replace your perspective with gunplay rather than healing and the result comes out as an absurd one. The specialist class is good at his specialty, there shouldn't be any surprise here.
Just played a game of MvM with this dude. http://steamcommunity.com/id/gabethebabe5800 Obvious hacker, played Sniper, could practically solo the map. Debated on just restarting the mission but I wanted my tour over with and figured I'd be even more annoyed if I had to go out of my way for that. I'm not sure if he knew how obvious he was to everybody else. He's even got every achievement, most of them at the same exact time. I figured this would be his alt account but he's got a lot of shit on here.
Some people just don't give up do they? After the recent VAC wave I was hoping to see a reduction in hackers but in the last three days alone I have came across 4 LMAObox users.... (These were Valve servers aswell). It's extremely frustrating trying to play a normal game when you're getting headshot every 30 seconds.

Let's rebel by making a dozen more throwaway cheat accounts! That'll show them for ruining my childish fun." It's like a really shit villain that is really just a pushover.
i hate tf2 sfm ocs
people who just stare into nothing when they're being shot at. spies in particular. it's like they're trying to figure out what life even is - or if they exist for that matter. with spies, they just stare without even moving for some reason before getting shredded by a heavy or gibbed. i don't understand if they're bots or if these are actual people.
i hate tf2 sfm ocs
I'm a little worried that I know all those abbreviations.

Those of us that have 10-15 years (or more) of playing FPS games with a mouse and a keyboard, especially fast MP titles, just take for granted things like strafing, being able to quickly and accurately rotate your view around and aim with a mouse, responding to sounds and glimpses of enemies circling around you and not just tunnelvisioning on one enemy in front of you... Yesterday, I was spectating this obviously-new Soldier that managed to not react to a enemy Sniper running past him for several seconds, then proceeded to miss 4 or 5 Shotgun shots from close range while turning as slowly as an oil tanker, and ended up being meleed to death by the circle-strafing Sniper despite having full health.

Sometimes it works v:v:v
i hate tf2 sfm ocs
Mate, have you seen Gmod OCs? Like, what the fuck is this? :v: I was actually gonna review these videos on YouTube, but I'm shy as fuck
I don't think I have the mental strength to watch these.
i hate tf2 sfm ocs
For clarity, what exactly is an "OC"?
Original Character You know, like all those ugly fake sonic characters 8 year olds made on Deviantart

Can Valve *please* for the love of god rework autobalance? As much as I hate it, it's a necessary evil, because people wouldn't change to a less-playered team without it, but I hate hate HATE being killed by bullshit at the final point of the enemy team before instantly getting autobalanced to the enemy team and quitting the server because why do I even bother?
I hate those fan female classes Especially Scout.

Killing a top-scoring player who has been with the server awhile never seems to trigger autobalance while the low scoring recently-joined player will get immediately switched upon death several minutes later.
