HIW THE HELL DID YOU RUN OUT OF PISTOL AMMO ON ENGINEER?!
I am too bad at using my shotgun, so spamming the living hell outta my pistol and having teammates as amno vaccums really did not help with that :v:
I will never understand why engineer has 200 ammo on his pistol. I mean, its not like its broken or anything, its just really ridiculous.
Considering one pistol mag can hold up to 12 bullets, to have 200 bullets the Engineer would have to carry about 17 mags. Wow.
Considering one pistol mag can hold up to 12 bullets, to have 200 bullets the Engineer would have to carry about 17 mags. Wow.
Well he already carries four toolboxes, a wrench, a shotgun, and the pistol its self so the mags are probably the least of it all.
still amazed small ammoboxes give 20,5% value instead of 25 it wouldnt be as bad if it didnt seem like a complete oversight
still amazed small ammoboxes give 20,5% value instead of 25 it wouldnt be as bad if it didnt seem like a complete oversight
Same thing with medkits too.
Nothing like seeing a crowd of scouts fighting over a teleporter.
Posting this again

don't suppose you realize "f2p" is not a synonym to "newbie"
don't suppose you realize "f2p" is not a synonym to "newbie"
Yes i do, do you have a problem of me using the word "f2p"? i can edit it if you would like.:pudge:
Even better is when the newbs stand and wait to be teleported by an inactive teleporter entrance.
Nothing like being a heavy only to see a lime unusual demoman trying to fight over a teleporter with a ghibus scout.
If I am a heavy and they're fighting over a teleporter, I just taunt on the teleporter because taunting actually gives you priority on who gets teleported. (Probably due to you stopping movement entirely with most taunts)
I've seen no less than three Huntsman-using cheaters in the past week or two, which is odd since it's not the most efficient of weapons to cheat with and I don't remember ever running into an lmaobox user or some other obvious cheater using one. Could it be that they're using it since it's a bit less obvious and they're warier of reports and future VAC bans?
how can you tell?
Even better is when the newbs stand and wait to be teleported by an inactive teleporter entrance.
Or when a power class teleports through, and totally ignores the teleport being damaged after by a newbie medic and his syringe gun. teleporters are like a "fuck and forget" sorta deal
how can you tell?
A Huntsman user that, when spectating them, has their crosshair constantly trained on enemies even when they can't see them, through walls and around corners. If there's no target nearby, they'll set their sights on the nearest enemy even if that happens to be a guy miles away, and follow their movement (through walls) until just before they round a corner, at which point the Huntsman user infallibly sends an arrow (at long distances) at head-height that will always headsho,t unless the unsuspecting target changes their movement pattern at the last second. One of the Snipers kept their bow aimed perfectly still on a teammate of mine through the ground, even though the target was a whole story below them and there was absolutely no way for the Huntsman user to know where exactly they were. It's not hard to score loads of points using the thing when shooting arrows into tunnels and cramped spaces on chokepoint-heavy maps, but when a guy gets 50+ points on a rather open map and perfectly predicts when any enemy will round a corner or pop from cover and always seems to send dead-on arrows towards their heads at great distances before they're even visible... You do get suspicious and start spectating them, at which point the auto-tracking/aimbot is obvious. No one's that omniscient.
Could it be that they're using it since it's a bit less obvious and they're warier of reports and future VAC bans?
Isn't there that whole "VAC is an automated system" and "VAC doesn't work off of user reports" thing? AFAIK a flamboyant spinbotting LMAOboxer flooding the chat and a reasonably sly silent aim cheat are of equal importance to VAC, provided that both signatures can be detected. The only thing being secluded about your cheating will help with is preventing the players on a server from booting you themselves. And with all the stories I've heard (and experienced) of teams not giving a shit that a cheater is on their team, that seems like a non-issue to a would-be cheater, right? :v:
Could it be that they're using it since it's a bit less obvious and they're warier of reports and future VAC bans?
Valve literally states on the "about VAC" page that it doesn't ban based on reports.
One bad thing about the Lmaobox vac wave is that people seem to think cheats are entirely extinct now. Had some guy blatantly cheat as soldier, shooting rockets where he doesn't even look (silent aim) and having a spazz attack whenever he pulled out his shotgun. Edgy name, constantly shit talking about everything from people killing him and him killing them, to their choice of avatar and username. But nah, he's just "really good". Cheats clearly don't exist anymore. The cloaked spies he popped up and airshot with the DH and the constant 180 shotgun meatshots followed by shaking that people would be heavily medicated for irl? Clearly just godly gamesense :downs:
Just how nobody communicates in chat. Feel free to mention the 3 lvl3 sentries set up around the cart.
Digging up examples might be hard, but I'm pretty sure there are a few select L4D players that got VACed for being toxic and generating a large amount of reports on them.
Digging up examples might be hard, but I'm pretty sure there are a few select L4D players that got VACed for being toxic and generating a large amount of reports on them.
Could just be they're actually hacking and being dicks then VAC eventually gets them regardless of reports.
Could just be they're actually hacking and being dicks then VAC eventually gets them regardless of reports.
It's possible, wish I could find the thread, but I'm sure it got purged from the SPUF like all the other l4d threads for no good reason. The skybox on cp_frieght on last, dragged out a round for even longer because engineers started building up there. Exhaustion winning over. Have a good streak going and almost decide to call it quits, but instead keeping playing one more game and then I stop making my pipes, get dominated by a medic and a pocket soldier that previously were not a problem and then I can't loose it and now I feel like shit even though the map changed before we lost.
as a 31-tour, a 70-tour switching from heavy to soldier and almost losing us the wave just because he was bored and tired of me telling the like 3 1-tours not to do certain things
Scouts can go to Hell.
Scouts can go to Hell.
He already did and got the Sun-on-a-Stick as a souvenir.
He already did and got the Sun-on-a-Stick as a souvenir.
The SoaS was shipped to him from hell by Valve, who presumably own Hell as a subsidiary to test new Scout weapons, it would explain the sandman and Crit a cola.
Playing Pybro on Landfall, I kill a medic and he gets autobalanced to our team. He says "Fuck you, you're cancer," calls a vote to kick. It passes...
Some one called a vote on me because I was hitting a friendly teleporter during set-up time, it passed a I got kicked
Playing Pybro on Landfall, I kill a medic and he gets autobalanced to our team. He says "Fuck you, you're cancer," calls a vote to kick. It passes...
It isn't as bad as my experience on a Valve server, being the team player I am sapping enemy sentries, a vote kick is called on me by a dead teammate because I used the red tape recorder, and guess what: it passed in just 4 seconds.
