Though it was Arena, so the dude had more reason to be salty I guess.
People who get in the goddamn way when I'm trying to rescue range my sentry, and making my wrench hit them instead of the spies handing out sappers like candy.
Also, people who tell others to shut up when they use their mics constructively is ridiculous:

I've recently played engi a bit because of contracts and teammates running in front of you when you are trying to place a building is the most annoying thing in the game. So sorry if I've ever done it, engies. :(
I honestly don't understand why people get so salty over pubs. Like yeah I mute them but when people do that it leaves a bad feeling. It's not like youre being ranked or anything and it's just random people thrown in together, its just some good ol casual stress free fun
Got in a pub against 6 players from a HL team.
And as you'd expect, they all went gunslinger-widowmaker engineers.
While one of them is easily delt with, it is a bit annoying to be forced to do nothing else but shooting at minisentries, and this is while they're all rushing you with the infinity shotgun.

I just got kicked from a Valve Server for "Cheating" because I asked our team to stop having 3 spies.
Whenever someone attempts to censor someone and force them to change their in game username. I've seen is personally like four times. Who the fuck do you think you are?

It's like how last night I was on a 24/7 24 slot fast respawn turbine server.
Four people on blue team went phlog+scorch shot pyro.
I was on red.

It was more they activated their crit boost one after another and trapped most of my team in spawn. I was only able to counter them a little bit by going natascha heavy and getting a medic to pocket me.

They hardly bothered with the intel when they had on demand crits to spray at our spawn room doors. Just goes to show you that turbine is a broken map and that the phlog needs an additional cooldown timer or needs more damage to activate crits. They needed at the most to shoot people with two scorch shot flares in the cramped halls and vents and they were full on crits.

Use uber to get out of spawn, there's corners where it's safe from the fire.
Also, scream at your team until it gets in their heads that they should [I]avoid[/I] the glowing death-Pyros, not run at them headlong. It'll go a lot better.
edit: also Engies building on last during setup infuriate me to no end
i had THREE GODDAMN ENGINEERS holed up in that building at the last point of the first stage of thunder mountain for literally the entire round
all they did was fight the same two idiot spies that kept going after them even though they were being totally useless

if you die to a phlog pyro you deserved to die.
alternatively: that can be done with demos, soldiers, heavies and any other class with area denial capabilities.

In general it takes way too little fire damage to get the phlog filled up. Even before the scorch shot was buffed, it was the thing to use when shooting at choke points to get a room full of people on fire and watch as your meter fills up. Now it just takes 2-3 flares in a cramped space and you're good to go for crits and a full heal.
As someone who plays way too much 24/7 Turbine, use the loose cannon. Absolutely brutal in corridors, and Turbine is a giant corridor.

Yeah still, try fighting four phlog pyros [B]at once[/B] who are backed up with medics and snipers and other random classes. I was also the only one to go heavy on my team so that didn't really help out much but I did kill them several times. (With me dying immediately afterwards due to afterburn or another phlog pyro with crits running out of the vent the second I killed one of them.) After about ten minutes of this abuse, half of my team ragequit and the phlog pyros finally got bored of spawncamping and left the server around 20 minutes after that.

The spies could easily take out the pyro at a decent range with their revolvers, and the pyro wouldn't be able to airblast them all at the same time in melee range, in which he'd die to a backstab pretty quickly.
The snipers would completely wreck the demoman. 1 headshot and 1 bodyshot is all it takes.
4 medics crossbowing a soldier from different directions would probably kill him in a couple of seconds, whereas it takes 2 rockets to kill a single medic.
Heavy won't be able to kill 4 different demoknights meleeing him at the same time.

Don't mean to be rude but turbine has one of the easiest spawns to stop spawn camping. Glass walls so enemies can't really hide, multiple doors to exit out of, it's in a hallway so you can easily hit clustered enemies with explosives. It sounds more like you had a really bad team that didn't know easy counters to camping as someone mentioned a few posts back.

Nope, its a server where you get the autobalance warning but the autobalance never happens and the game ends because being down 12-9 or similar such numbers is too difficult of a hurdle to pass for the most part.
