The particles persist as long as you are overhealed.
Huh... Well that's stupid, especially that cloaking doesn't hide it. Oh, and they are even team colored, right, so they even fuck up disguises?
they are even team colored, right, so they even fuck up disguises?
Yes
vac and quickfix still have the yellow bits inside the heal beam that was originally added in for the kritzkrieg imagine if phlog and degreaser sounded like the backburner. that's pretty much the same
"Why do I even fucking bother." Invasion in a nutshell
vac and quickfix still have the yellow bits inside the heal beam that was originally added in for the kritzkrieg imagine if phlog and degreaser sounded like the backburner. that's pretty much the same
To add on to that. The Vaccinator has a unique Medigun beam that just goes unused.
The fact you can't go in Thirdperson in Valve severs
The fact you can't go in Thirdperson in Valve severs
it is labeled as a cheat for a reason
A friend of mine got mad at me for killing him and his nest. Sorry, but i am not gonna ask you to fucking wrangle your sentry so i can get the fucking intel!
The fact you can't go in Thirdperson in Valve severs
Because people said Spy was just "too playable".
I just don't fucking get how people can use the fucking stickybomb launcher so effectively. When I try to use it against melee enemies and shoot it at the ground while backpedaling to give it time to arm, people can practically run through the blast or before it arms. When i try to Targe charge other sticky demos, they can lay down and detonate like a quarter second faster than my own. The same thing goes for melee combat, people keep hitting me while i'm backpedaling and visually like 2 more meters away. The hitboxes don't seem to match moving people, lots of my headshots accidently were fired a foot ahead of my target and somehow still domed them anyways
I couldn't figure out how people could destroy servers with stickyspam so easily until I realized you can hold down M2 while firing. [sp]also the melee hitboxes really are total garbage, which is frustrating and stupid in a game with a melee-based subclass[/sp]
Well, the Sticky Launcher, despite what people will tell you, does take a fair bit of practice, experience and prediction before a player really becomes a powerhouse with it. Many people will disagree, but I'd put it somewhere in the middle tier of primaries when it comes to how easy it is to do really well with it. Most of us probably have enough hours and experience to have forgotten that feel of being relatively new and/or totally inexperienced, but the SL is probably a more clumsy weapon for a beginner or a very rusty casual player than the RL, Minigun, Flamethrower, Scattergun and the like. It's meant to be somewhat clumsy and easy to blow yourself up with when someone gets in your face. Of course, it doesn't take a huge deal of skill or experience to start to get really powerful with stickies when you've practiced with them for a bit, but if you're rusty and rarely use them (=me) or very new to the game, it's easier to do well by being a Soldier or a Heavy with Medic support imo, in public servers of course. Whether stickies are still too powerful in skilled hands (even after the moderate Smissmass nerfs) is another question, I'd say that sticky Demos are primarily an issue in larger numbers, or mixed with a bunch of Soldiers and Heavies backed by Medics, and/or on very tight/cluttered maps full of easy-to-spam tunnels and hallways. Which happen to be, unfortunately, the maps that a huge part of the masses loves to play the most, i.e. Dustbowl, Gold Rush, 2Fort, many other PL maps etc. But primarily, Demos (and Soldiers too) stack too well in large numbers and sort of nullify each other's weaknesses a lot, and that's pretty much the curse of TF2 pubs in general. Should have had a limit on some (or all) classes since release, and we'd simply be used to it by now and have a more even distributio of classes on pubs. Keep in mind that the stickies have about an 8% smaller base blast radius (146 Hammer units instead of 159) after the Smissmass nerf, and that airburst stickies have it further reduced by 85% until they touch the ground (124 HU). Might not sound that much, but it takes a bit more prediction and aim to get the same damage from airburst stickies as you used to, as the target has to be closer to the center of the explosion.
Speaking of Demoman, why does he hold it with two-hands in third-person, yet he holds it with one hand in first-person? He has a missing eye , not an arm. Even more annoying is that he holds it with two hands in inspection but then goes back to holding it with one.

I swear my explosion radius and the collateral damage is way smaller than my enemies.
Is it me, or do Tide Turner Demomen break the hit-boxes?
"Pootis" and "Hoovies"
I swear to christ every time i am fighting an enemy it's them who always gets the upper hand in the last second when it was going to be me who was going to win. For example, get a crit when they have 10 hp or something. I am pretty sure if this game had flowers, the one i tried to cut off would turn into a satanic flower with a face and drain the shit out of my fucking soul.
?
God damnit you got me
"Weak" enemies who can somehow tank huge amounts of damage (I.E Scouts taking multiple minicrits from a minigun and walking away scot free) yet are still able to wipe the floor with me in seconds. I once played as a Soldier with full health and faced off against an Engineer whose nest had just been destroyed. I shot three rockets at him, one was a direct hit the other two caught him with splash damage. But somehow, this doesn't kill him, and then as I'm reloading he downs me with two shotgun blasts and walks away clean.
i've learned to accept that minicrit flamethrower/minigun make almost zero difference in the end because they're still puny weak in ranged situations and don't make a noticeable difference at pointblank
Critical minigun/flamethrower fire is godlike though. Backburner feels great.

TF2 won't load past the Valve screen and when I try to close it, everything lags to hell, even the internet browser.
i've learned to accept that minicrit flamethrower/minigun make almost zero difference in the end because they're still puny weak in ranged situations and don't make a noticeable difference at pointblank
But minicrit minigun still has no damage falloff, even if the damage bonus is negligible.
The spread is still there. Crit minigun still hurts a lot though
I've actually ran into a heavy main whose tracking was godlike that i noticed multiples times when i was a full health soldiers and died within seconds at close range, even far away isn't safe as even getting glimpsed by him took like almost half my hp at long range even. Suspicious as hell, but i was on the Free Beer community server so competitive players or actual hackers are a common sight.
But minicrit minigun still has no damage falloff, even if the damage bonus is negligible.
bullet spread still makes it poop even moreso with the second of ramp-up
