You forgot to mention that the halloween items you trade in for will become untradable...
Couldn't the fact that the new Halloween items wouldn't be restricted, tightened the guidelines for acceptable items? Also regarding the community, there seems to be an emphasis more on the maps this Halloween.
(I don't know what mods are making my crash) So when i switch to another map/server it crashes TF2 for me and it really, really annoys me.

Fuck the Kill Merasmus Contract, every server I been to had players oblivious to the wizard and decided yes, lets kill this random huntsman sniper looking for the wizard. :why: I just want to get rid of this contract quick and painless. If the contracts weren't limited to Valve servers only, I would've gone on saigns.de server or somewhere else where killing other team is forbidden when the boss is alive but no, Valve had to make us go into tryhard mode.
Not annoying for me personally but for the other player: someone traded up for a Kritz or Treat canteen. Poor guy.
Goddamn these spells are bullshit. Especially the ball lightning one, but there isn't a single one of them I enjoy fighting against.

I mean, the map seems like it doesn't have a lot of flanks, and then you can't pass the cart without being helpless for multiple seconds? That seems like a GREAT idea.
Not particularly fond of original Millstone itself, it's a rather generic, chokepoint-heavy Payload map with a bunch of confusing pathways. But the event version really goes overboard with trying to fit every halloween gameplay gimmick on one map - pumpkin bombs, critboost pumpkins, spells, bosses, a ghost-cart that needlessly disables anyone on RED... Too much of a total random clusterfuck, even for an event map, and if you're not getting killed by critboosted people every 15 seconds, you'll randomly die to one of the bosses, or face the aforementioned issue of having both a regular Monoculus, a spell Monoculus and the HHH all out at the same time causing havoc and spawncamping one team.

That seems like a GREAT idea.[/QUOTE] it's really not a big deal compared to invisible katana demos and 100 damage fireballs even from the tip of splash radius while two neutral monoculus spawn camps your base. also no cover from snipers. AND you're forced to play this because of contracts.

Using the Transmutes, only to get hats I already have/ traded away for a few minutes ago. Like how I traded up my Hardium Helm, only to get 2 more later on
Millstone Event. It's really frustrating to defend on when there's HHH, skeletons and not one but two Monoculi killing everyone (on RED since they spawn RED's turf)

Millstone is incredibly blu-favoring.

Is it just me or are the contracts not working AT ALL? Collecting souls, pumpkins, nothing fills up the points.
Why does valve have to turn EVERY SERVER into a Halloween one? There's zero non-event servers running.
