Stuff that Annoys you in TF2: MS Paint Crocket Edition

I know I just posted but oh dear Lord.
So, I'm playing Payload on Pub with a cool Soldier that I had met a couple hours back (Who I was pocketing) and our team was being destroyed by this KritzkriegMedic/Heavy combo. The thing is, this guy had his über up what felt like every 15 - 20 seconds, and being someone who is pretty good at memorizing how quickly stuff like that normally takes, I was naturally pretty curious about this. I say something along the lines of "Hey (enemy Medic), your Kritzkreig is charging faster than usual, is my team just feeding you Übersaw hits?". Suddenly, he gets SUPER aggressive and starts saying stuff like "LOL are u an idiot heal I heal my teammates fucking loser", and I calmly explain to him that I'm very experienced with Medic and that I'm not a 'fucking idiot' and that he didn't answer my question, but that triggers him even more as he starts making fun of my skill at Medic. Naturally, I got a bit flustered, so I ran some quips back at him and eventually he shut up. Now, not ten minutes later, this heavy has three more Medics on him. One of my teammates brought it up, and said something like "Hey, isn't that a bit unfair?". The aforementioned enemy Medic puts this poor guy on blast as well, and I speak up in his defense and say "Yeah, I don't think that this guy being constantly invincible is very fair, either.". The Heavy, all the time before this completely silent, speaks up towards ME and says "lol dude it's called teamwork". This sparks an argument that lasts for the next two map rotations about wether one guy being healed by four medics counts as teamwork, and almost all of his points are completely bullshit. Not only this, but remember, he has four medics who are completely on his side about absolutely everything he says. Eventually, all my anger peaks, and I decide, "Fuck it, I'm not dealing with your idiocy anymore.", then he starts bragging about me leaving meant that 'he won' and that I was a 'worthless medic' (Keep in mind his medics are 'lol'ing at everything he says), and I just sigh and leave. I'm kind of stuck with a sort of half-hearted feeling, not that I feel bad that I 'lost' but more because I actually wasted my time trying to convince him that his logic was completely and utterly flawed.
It’s hard to win an argument with a smart person, but it’s damn near impossible to win an argument with a stupid person.
I feel like the grappling hook could have just been an unlock for spy or something, nerfed of course.
I honestly don't think theres any saving the Mannpower mode itself.
I really wish valve would stop even bothering with it.
stock TF2 has a hundred ways to make players get unbelievable, "unfair" kills.
mannpower just multiplies this tenfold.
and I still don't understand what the random hook is there for. what does it have to do with anything when power-ups are the main theme of the mode.
"what if we added as much bullshit as possible to TF2"
The hookshot sounds like some nice bullshit
Mannpower is just Rune Quake, but with everything that made it work with Quake removed.
I play Mannpower the same reason I played Randomizer back then, to find some really interesting and neat combos.
Speaking of Randomizer, does anyone know some good populated EU Randomizer Servers? Rama Lama died long ago.
I don't care too much for Mannpower, but I don't get a lot of the hate. At least it's not as boring as normal Capture the Flag.
Personally I feel mannpower is too fast for tf2. TF2 on pubs is a kind of semi-slow take your time kind of game with fast paced skirmishes here and there. Which is good fun because you can do stupid stuff and get away with it.
However, Mannpower would do great in a competitive environment as you can coordinate attacks, talk with your team, etc. Like 5cp does well in competitive while it lacks in pubs for the same reasons.
The Ambassador is such a stupid weapon. A Spy shouldn't be able to get headshots with a revolver.

It's all I see any spy use, really. That or the diamondback. They're both garbage and make you rely on them too much. I use stock or l'tranger even though I have strange versions of all of them except an ambassador which is arbitrarily like four keys for not even a festive one.

I never used ambassador because I try to shy away from using weapons I see fucking everywhere, tried it a couple days ago because why not and landing headshots with it is way easier than people make it out to be, you have no scope, no movement speed penalty, and youre in way closer range, and if you miss youre not punished because you can just cloak away.

It's also a hard counter to the razorback.
I use a strange festive stock revolver most of the time as spy.

I really doubt comp tf2 players like mannpower.
I forgot why i don't play on Hoodoo, the amount of chokepoints and reliable crutch loadouts with sentryfest really blows it.
I really doubt comp tf2 players like mannpower.
I'm not a huge comp player, but I have seen dozens of lobbies on itemtest, achievement_idle and even mario_kart maps, so Mannpower is the last of your problems. Well, for tf2center at least.
Edit : Speaking of tf2center:

The real problem with mannpower is that it is meant for expert players, but most people that play it are anything but.
The real problem with mannpower is that it is meant for expert players, but most people that play it are anything but.
Because the people who are meant to play it don't want to deal with that bullshit.
The Ambassador is such a stupid weapon. A Spy shouldn't be able to get headshots with a revolver.
Yeah. it just turns the spy into a Mini-Sniper. That can fake his own death
So i was playing Well on a Valve server and i just capped the point and i decide to check up something on the internet for a quick minute, only to come back and see i got kicked from the server.
:what:

Spy should not need powercreep inducing unlocks to counter sniper, and sniper should not have unlocks that passively negate his counters.
The Targe's absurd resistance
It took 6 nearly direct rockets for me to take down a demoknight with the targe.
six rockets
is it me or soldiers that jump when shooting enemies at pointblank don't take the 80 damage from their rockets? I never took the time to test it.
if they do it without anyone around, they take 40 and that's fine and working as intended. But when it hits an enemy it should do 80 too. That's what would happen if they were grounded.

Really? Because technically 4 direct hits will always kill a targe demoknight, still bs though

As far as I'm aware as long as the rocket impacts the enemy directly, the soldier takes full self damage. Otherwise, if the rocket hits a wall, ground, or floor, the soldier takes the reduced damage.

I'm pretty sure you do not take full self damage from hitting an enemy so long as you are in the air, the game counts it the same as any other rocket impact. Otherwise you'd take full damage when trying to jump away from enemies that are close range.

The best strategy against targe demomen is rocketjump as they charge you and comfortably bomb them from high ground as they scramble below.
That is, if you don't just outright equip shotgun and shut them down for good.
My newcommer friend keeps insisting that soldiers are overpowered because they can shoot you at point blank with rockets and reduce you to gibs but they can survive the explosion
I'll play mannpower when they fix power ups being time limited.
being a brass beast vampire heavy and reaching a 30k killstreak is absurd.
I'll play mann up when they fix power ups being time limited.

Mannpower,not Mann Up.
i keep mixing them :1
One deserves updates and never gets them, the other is the opposite.

Can a rocket launched in front of a charging demo slow or stop their charge? I've been using this method for years successfully but I never knew if the charge being slowed was due to the rocket or other factors.
