I like the point of Team Fortress better.
the team that holds all the powerups wins?
-snip-
the team that holds all the powerups wins?
More like never loses, since they just hold the intel to make sure the other team suffers rather than win the round.
What's really been getting on my goat recently is Valve's weird insistence of leaving out a single item from fantastic sets, making people who were excited for them (like me) feel incomplete when they only get one part. Some cases-in-point: [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/547510578226389928/A3CC4439CC96A5893E38330F4C4729A9E01F188E/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/576750901429604129/9C089AA4603F32D629C92E75C0EC2958191E3963/[/t] [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/628600386307088038/230DDF0EC501558F2C1D4B173BC36879E83FC4DE/[/t] There are probably more, but why Valve doesn't just include the whole set and instead gives us these items piecemeal is both confusing and frustrating.
Black box when going 1v1 against an enemy soldier. Only thing you can wish is for a crit or the other soldier having seriously shitty aim. The nerf against multiple people was great and all but it's hard to kill the other one when they keep regenerating health.
More like never loses, since they just hold the intel to make sure the other team suffers rather than win the round.
That's been something I've been seeing a lot more as of late in ctf. Enemy has final intel, so they just draw the round at as long as possible by holding it in their intel room. It's really frustrating.
So i played MvM and sometimes i say "ay nerds" when joining a game and this elitist said something along the lines of "I don't like being called that" or something (i forgot) and then i spammed the word "Nerd" a few times and said something about a trade line. I was typing in chat and he said "Toriel everytime you type in chat i wanna kill myself" so i kept saying 90s lingo and then after he lost one round on the first wave of Rottenburg he left. :v:
Why would you do such a thing?
The day when Zatoichi will become the worst melee in the game, it'll be satisfying. Also i can't believe how stupid the Sandman's stun is, even with all its "nerfs". 2 feet away still stuns you for 1 or 2 seconds and you're pretty much dead at that point.
Why would you do such a thing?
Sorry.
[T]http://i64.tinypic.com/2m29nhf.jpg[/T] this "no escape" guy was probably the worst person I've ever had to play against in my entire life. this picture really doesn't do him justice, he was just the worst human being I've ever met. the teams were pretty imbalanced and he was pocketed the whole time (this is in a pub so my team weren't entirely strong) and so he got quite a few kills on me. I really don't mind dying or losing over and over but the constant gloating and bind spamming really just got to me. By the time he was kicked I had no energy or ability to play properly. this guy is the ultimate TF2 weapon; he literally drained me physically [editline]8th December 2015[/editline] sorry i didn't even crop the picture. i am exhausted
Why do people spam lenny face/terrible binds in the first place? Do they think that it'll make them look cool or because they wanna be the most annoying thing in the server?
Setting chat to automatically hide itself every time I start the game was one of the best ideas I've ever had. I get irrationally angry when even a single Lenny face pops up.
Setting chat to automatically hide itself every time I start the game was one of the best ideas I've ever had. I hate the outcome of 2 opposing splendid demos charging at eachother. It is the biggest diceroll on whoever bashes first, and that player automatically wins. there's no factor to control and it's literally whichever client decides to register first for some alien reason. It makes me sick a dozen times more than random crits. I haven't even had this happen to me and it still makes me so mad for some reason.

Last time I experienced a toxic player it made me question humanity on what humour was.
I have permanent binds to turn chat on and off via numpad. Simply just due to how toxic most players can be. I'd love to be able to mute all of chat at once instead of manually selecting every name
http://tf2.gamebanana.com/scripts/8449 You can remove the voice chat part to stop it turning off voice too.
Can you share those binds?
Into command console for each: bind "kp_downarrow" "hud_saytext_time 0" bind "kp_pgdn" "hud_saytext_time 5" This will now change keys: Keypad 3 = chat on Keypad 2 = chat off Hope this helps!
This might just make TF2 pubs a bit more bareable(?). I think many will thank you.

It's a rare ass occurance that I don't think I've ever seen happen in tf2, the chances of it happening is pretty damn low, and you're getting that worked up about it?
yes over-acting tends to happen after a bad day
Into command console for each: bind "kp_downarrow" "hud_saytext_time 0" bind "kp_pgdn" "hud_saytext_time 5" This will now change keys: Keypad 3 = chat on Keypad 2 = chat off Hope this helps!
Why would you do that when you can just mute them? Muting a player blocks their text messages as well.
Why would you do that when you can just mute them? Muting a player blocks their text messages as well.
The commands are for numerous amounts of people, servers, etc. Muting only deals with one person and some people want to get back to the game then have to mute 5 or more players.
Then stop playing on servers with such a garbage community.
Then stop playing on servers with such a garbage community.
That's a tad hard when that accounts for 90% of the game, including Valve servers. Just saying... Some people would rather just not have chat so they don't have to look at it while they play their game.
The Skial vote system is a bigger joke than Adam Sandler :v:

*joins server on one of my favorite maps* "TEN SECONDS LEFT IN THE MISSION" Server time left: 00:30 :suicide:
