its got the tankiness back in, except spies can still run at mach-4 with it.
that's not the meaning of balance

I'm actually OK with faster switch speed, but I really don't like the stats around holster and deploy. It's really obnoxious especially on swords
gotta love how Valve once again made the same mistake that was previously made with the old Soda Popper.
Giving 20+ health to a pyro for extinguishing a teammate. Basically rewarding a class for doing their job.
In this case at least, I'd say it's the same idea as the healing from a payload cart. You get a little bonus as a reward for doing your job correctly.
It's not the same at all as getting minicrits for basically just existing.

But airblasting a teammate takes absolutely no effort from the pyro other than pressing M2. With the payload cart you get your health back but in a much slower rate and you still have to worry about the entire enemy team going after your ass once you start pushing the damn thing.
I giftapulted a botkiller and a little part of me really hopes it landed on a new user and the person is happy and tells his friends about the cool gun he got, maybe increasing his interest in the game a bit more.
but of course that's 99% not the case and the person probably thinks it's a random drop given by the game and just moves on with no care in the world.
that makes me an asshole right?

I giftapulted my strange knife since I had one already.
Hoped it would send it to a player that had just recently started playing.
Was given to a player with 4,000+ hours and 18 unusuals...
Holy shit this new sapper buff makes Engineer nigh unplayable. Whats that? you want to build a... Nope! too bad!

You win my respect for at least caring. Most people just giftapult untradable normal weapons. I'm probably gonna buy one of the new hats so I can giftapult to someone.
One thing i don't like is having to do a mission where i have to use a weapon i'm shit at :v:
Is there a video showing the difference between the new weapon change speed and the old one? I can't get used to the new one.
Yesterday I encountered a bug that I haven't encountered in years

Can't seem to do shit about it

Open the console and enter spectate. Should put you into spectator mode at which point you can change teams again and get into the match.
Thank you for telling him this. I had a lot of trouble with this kind of bug and it annoyed the hell out of me.
I know it used to be caused when teams had the same amount of people and you tried to join the same team as someone else at the same time, putting them up by two. One person would get in the other would experience the bug. It was supposedly fixed a few updates ago but it's back I guess.
An old one, but I got reminded of it recently.

FTFY.

The fact that Valve gave into the crybaby dr/spycicle mains irks me more than anything.
encountered a phlog vampire/reflect army in mannpower
we could not leave our spawn
I hope Valve finds a way to make it so people can't make text binds. They're probably the most obnoxious thing in this game.
Imagine if one day they finally remove random crits.

The only way to do that would be to remove the "say" command from the console or blacklist it from being binded to anything
Or they could be like the old-old days when they put a time-limit between being able to use the "voice" command, but apply that to text chat instead. It won't stop people from spamming, but it'd slow them down.

There already is a limit like that in place

Not all of them are obnoxious, though. You can use useful ones like "Uber ready", "Sentry down", "Their medic uses kritz." and so on, too. The problem would be to make the difference between these and the annoying spam binds.

Message spam over the space of X seconds = 10 seconds of chat ban.
Chat ban increases if spamming persists after ban is removed.
Would help with the dumb lenny bind spammers after getting one simple kill.
All the communist stuff for Heavy bugs me.
His family were counter-revolutionaries

Totally agree, I always thought that was annoying how he was essentially imprisoned by the soviets and then in game he gets all this soviet union themed gear.
Plus the fact that he's a man who gets PAID to kill people just exacerbates the "joke".
Imagine if one day they finally remove random crits.
(kind of an unpopular opinion here)
I don't mind random crits, (except maybe that one time that a guy gets like 40 crit rockets in a row, or pre-TB zatoichis getting constant crit swings) because it mixes things up. It has no place in competitive, but in a pub environment with so many different skill levels it can really help balance out the lobby. (they should be toned down though, also it shouldn't be based on how well you do, if you do extremely bad it should grant more)

He stole them and wears them as trophies.
