pretty much DH is really strong only if you meet your enemy one at a time with zero interruption. But that never exactly happens alot at all. Even if it does, having an opponent that can use his AD keys decently will give you a hard time and embarass yourself. The only definitive asset of the DH is its anti-building prowess. Even then, why not just go demo for that?

Something a bit like this: Mini-crits targets launched airborne by explosions, grapple hooks or enemy attacks -70% explosion damage +200% knockback (this is just so that a splash hit deals roughly the same knockback as a normal RL). +25% building damage I've tried using the thing for years but I just can't appreciate it for much else than sentry busting.

You know what really ticks me off is the High Roller minigun, OR LACK THEREOF. Roulette wheels spin, miniguns spin, sounds like a match made in a seedy Vegas casino chapel. Frankly, I think it's inexcusable. The overall lack of good spinning skins for the minigun is pretty pathetic. No Killer Bee or Sweet Dreams/Rainbow-spirals or festive variant with a candy-cane motif. The only thing that comes close is that garish Macarbe Web.
-snip- actually nevermind
The fact that stranges can only come from cases and not the weapons that drop from completing contracts. At least put some strangifiers in the cases.

I like that it has a whole gimmick behind it, the minicrits in midair. It's a unique rocket launcher in that regard in terms of concept. What I do not like about it at present is the fact is can OHKO any light class up close, which is where a Soldier is most of the time, in someones face. Someone with good predictability and they can just toast any light class.
If you're a light class facing a soldier head on up close you're doing it wrong.
If you're a light class facing a soldier head on up close you're doing it wrong.
Exceptions exist, and they will kill you.
I hate the word "tryhard". I reckon it's butt hurt people who use that term because things aren't going their way. There are many variations of this term like: Try hard soldier= For when you're simply doing good as soldier or Try hard capper= For when you actually cap the point Simply being called "try hard" is usually because you're simply doing good at the game. Apparently playing the game the way it's meant to be played is now try hard.
I find that there's a certain way to stop most snipers easily. Just hold W, jumping, and turning your crosshair like you're folding a cake, or scooping something with it. Sure, you might get bodyshot, but those headshots probably aren't going to happen. And if it's a semi-open map, you can just rocket jump extremely quickly towards them and kill them with two rockets. Of course, neither of these work on a really good sniper, but I find they work on most average pub snipers.
I hate successful scrambles in the middle of a 3-stage map. I actually fought hard to win that stupid first stage, and i now want to win the second without someone calling a scramble vote a minute after joining because his team doesn't need a fourth spy.

That Stage 3 of Thunder Mountain isn't its own map because it's good enough to be a map entirely on its own while Stage 1 and 2 are not so fun.
agility in mannpower you cant catch intel carriers and spys ... oh god
Stage 3 is the part with the tower right?
Yep, the one where the bomb is pushed into the middle, causing the whole tower to explode. Image if you want it: [t]http://i.imgur.com/dIMQE.jpg[/t] I do like stage 3 more then stage 1 and 2
soo a stock RL with 10-20 splash dmg and some anti building nobody would use that either considering the speed is gone, meaning airshots would be as difficult as with stock.
When the item is allegedly designed for juggling and accuracy, it kind of defeats its own purpose if it's mostly-incapable of doing such a thing. Absurd projectile speed paired with normal splash range is precisely why people didn't like the old Liberty Launcher and still detest it now, although alternative reasons have been introduced that outshine it now that it carries a damage penalty. There are some finicky things that could be done to replicate it without being silly, but it'd be difficult to manage without it being a flat projectile speed buff. The highest I'd go would be 40%, as the Liberty Launcher is in a similar camp. Really it feels like the weapon needs to find some role its trying to fill and then fill it. Right now it's snugly fitting into the anti-building role and that's fine. But what's not fine is 1-shotting light classes from the hip and having 4 of those equally-damaging shots so missing isn't a concern so long as you hit at least once. Anti-jumper is acceptable, but I'd like for it to be more of a proactive ability instead of a reactive one. Sure, my proposal may have missed the mark, but I'm working within the constraints I'm providing above to try to find some niche for it. As it stands now, it's feast or famine.
I'm not sure if I'm the only one who feels this way, but I really don't like people who just sit in spectate so they can get on the winning team. If you're trying to join a friend, it's fine I guess, but just to win? Kind of annoying. Right, I'm supposed to put something else. I can't draw, so [t]http://i.imgur.com/TiqaTeK.jpg[/t]
Because maybe being on the team with 3 spies, 4 snipers, 2 sandvich friendly heavies, and the 900 ping pyro isn't fun and being on the team that's winning is. Yeah, joining just to win isn't great, but 9 times out of 10 there's a reason one team is doing good enough for someone to want to go into spectator to join them. It's not that the other team is winning, it's that your team sucks so bad.

Thanks for acknowledging the other reason for the argument, but I did mean joining just to win. ^^
I go spec to check for the better composed team if I want to play sniper or spy, so I know my mediocre play as a pick class isn't gonna cause us to get wiped. It sux when you spend the entire game just trying to get back into position because your team can't hold any ground.
well its not like anyone is going to purposely chose the losing team just because
I used to a long time ago, but that was back when community servers contained all the Hale's Own platinum level players and one decent player could actually turn the tide.
I go spectate when I get autoed because fuck you autobalance I'm not letting you win because aparrently you aren't letting me.
I blame Quickplay strongly for the constant imbalanced status of Valve servers. Killing the community servers that helped contain higher level players and give them a place to practice and maintain challenge was what slowly leaked all these platinum level players into the Valve servers to terrorize the mindless gibusvision and medium level players who were just having a good time.
