tbh you shouldn't really play sniper unless you're good enough to do better than a demoman at killing uberbots
I actually manage to shoot the uberbots here and there, even though i'm average at playing Sniper.
Oh, what pisses me off more than anything else in the entire game, is how often demoknights swing at me from miles away and seem to get a hit. As a scout, I jump away from them easily but they still seem to get a hit even when not close. Does me tits in.
Were you playing X10 again without realizing? Because the eyelander has 370% longer melee range in x10
Were you playing X10 again without realizing? Because the eyelander has 370% longer melee range in x10
Might as well hit people with a flagpole then.

[editline]4th January 2016[/editline]
I don't know why anyone would be interested in a sub-class that does proximity based damage, just seems so boring to me I pity demoknights I envy good demoknight/demoman hybrids
I guess swords are always cool weapons. I do well against most, but every now and then a tide-turner demoknight just destroys me and often seems to get bull shit hits that I could do nothing about. I just tend to switch to soldier or something.
i hate the caber's tool tips if you were a newer player, and you found the caber for the first time, it would almost seem like a direct downgrade from stock

And then you have the Gunslinger, where the mini-sentry text is colored as a negative attribute.

The fact they build faster is the positive (something tells me valve didn't take into account the advantages of the sentry being smaller). Also, some stats being in white description text makes sense, they're not really downsides or upsides, and they're too complicated to be explained otherwise. Though, description tags replacing those stats is dumb. edit: the old nessie's nine iron stats will always be my favourite
If I remember correctly it was just like Eyelander but it didn't collect heads, right?
It used to just list the no random crits and -25 health penalties, and literally nothing else.
mantreads knockback resis being blue is my all-time favorite
My concern isn't tracking the proficient players, it's trying to track the unnatural movement of newer players. Bonus points if they rush you as a scout with a melee, and demolish you with a crit. You just can't expect what they would do next :v:
Somebody might have already posted about this, but I'm pretty sure Spy uncloaking sounds are broken in some way. Since I started playing TF2 again after Tough Break arrived, I've noticed that I get backstabbed a lot more than usual because I didn't hear the Spy uncloak behind me.
Ya know, a couple years ago, I was able to remember all the hats in tf2, 90% even by name. But that was like 2011, they've added so much stuff I don't even remember what anything is anymore. I walk through a game and think, "When did they add that?" "What's that hat called, I haven't seen it before."

It's so cool, actually.
the sudden realization that there was a second sentry behind the primary sentry your team was trying so hard to destroy, and then you die thinking their nest is cleared :v:
I hate this so much more because I know that two sentries built next to each other is a terrible tactic, and yet there it is, killing me because they did that.
If you can make it so that splash damage doesn't hurt both sentries from a single rocket, having two sentries rather close is not necessarily a bad thing
I know a Spy is a class of enigmatic stealth, but let me tell you, unless you have a Spycicle, escaping from a Pyro while you're burning (even when invisible) is hell.

The fact that there is only one rocket launcher skin in the warhawk collection. The perfect theme for the soldier and there is only one and it's absurdly rare.
The fact that there is only one rocket launcher skin in the warhawk collection. I really liked the Warhawk Rocket Launcher out of all the set, my friend really liked the Killer Bee. Lo and behold the 2 weapons we liked were the impossible finds.
To me the Deadringer is utterly useless. The Spy can be most useful if you get behind enemy lines with ease. (Cloak and Dagger, Invis watch) When you use the Deadringer and FEIGN poorly (What most people do) the enemy team will always track you down and destroy you before you can eliminate any key targets. Not to mention that most noobs can't even disguise as their own team to make FEIGNS less predictable and a bit more useful.

and to tank damage that would have killed you 4 times in a row and to never die and to run like a sanic
and not to forget about bragging how much of a "pro" spy you are because you know how to do these things cept being you know...a Spy.
To me the Deadringer is utterly useless. When I kill a dead ringer spy I am always caught in the dilemma of whether to try and chase them down or go on and actually contribute to the game in more important areas. I hate dead ringer spies.
I don't really think even average players get fooled by the DR feign, especially with all the amusing ragdoll bugs nowadays. And that's good in a way. A bad feign is in itself a distraction, as chasing a smart DR spy any further than the most obvious ammo/health pack nearby is probably a waste of time, and not chasing him gives him a chance to do all sorts of fun stuff like harassing engineers forever or making your power classes mysteriously transform into pyros running the wrong direction from spawn.
The dead ringer is pretty much only for emergency escapes, if you don't want to get tracked don't go for the ammo/health pack, thats ususally where most people go to look. Though I kinda wish spy didn't have to choose between a stealth tool and an escape tool.
Dead ringer doesn't do, what it is supposed to. It's supposed to fake your death and make enemies think they've killed you. But thanks to hitsound not activating when hit DR spy and being able to easily get information about enemies through scoreboard,it doesn't work and nowadays it's used as the free card from jail.
Once I was in Mann Up and all main classes were taken except for money collector (scout, spy, etc). I chose a class at random and asked kindly if someone would be a money collector, since I was bad at it. everyone in chat got pissed and demanded that I go Scout, or get kicked. So I went Scout, did pretty badly on the first wave (cause I have NO experience as Scout in MvM) and everyone got furious. Then I got kicked. Mann Up elitists are worse than F2Ps.
