Stuff that Annoys you in TF2: MS Paint Crocket Edition

As someone who plays medic a LOT in pubs, theres some things that I hate:
1) LISTEN TO MY ADVICE. Running headfirst at that wrangled sentry with your shotgun isn't gonna do much.
2) DONT RUN ALL THE WAY BACK TO YOUR RESUPPLY FOR HEALTH WHEN IM HEALING YOU. I don't get ubercharge, and we lose ground.
3) DONT TAKE HEALTH KITS WHEN YOU'RE BEING HEALED. It's okay if it's an accident, I understand. Just please try and save them for medics
4) If you have a black box and conch, don't complain when I priority other players over you. I'm still going to heal you. Understand that you have a source of health and they do not.
rant over
I'm pretty sure they did that because Spy couldn't actually use it to escape certain classes with it.
Its supposed to be an escape weapon, I think it does its job well enough.
no, valve fucked up like usual.
the speed boost was all about having less tankiness in the first place, but now they somehow forgot about that and now both incredible speed and tankiness are back in. speed needs to go.
as for your argument, how do you not escape from your enemies when you have flawless invisibility? nothing can flicker you.
Haven't played MvM in awhile, so i decided "I have a spare ticket, why not?"
Here's how it went:
Join game
Go soldier
Say hi to everyone
me(paraphrased): "Just want you guys to know that I do have a low tour amount, but please understand I'm trying to get into MvM and I've researched all the metas, I've done lots of boot camp with friends and i'm willing to play any class that you guys want"
some guy: "shut the fuck up. bye."
votekick starts, basically instantly completes
"you have been voted off"
(sorry for the weird typing style, its cold and that makes it hard to type :\)
go find a TF2 teamspeak, make friends, do mvm with full party of friends
ALWAYS 10x better
I always find it funny when people accuse me of sticky-spamming when I'm using the SR, a feat that is virtually impossible. Apparently in their mind I had preemptively spammed the corner before they turned it. To extrapolate: Sticky = Spam.
Also, it really bugs me when I go back to using the SL to sticky-spam and I can't see the damn stickies.
You know what else annoys me, is that players who were killed with the base jumper deployed just fall to the ground with a stupid looking rigid parachute. Couldn't they put some bones in the parachute so that it falls in on itself realistically? Or make it just disappear when the player dies? Or, even better, they could have the corpse hanging limply in the air, still suspended, and when it hits the ground the parachute disappears.
They really should do something, because right now it looks like they just took an item straight from a community mod and shipped it without performing any quality control. ...Oh, wait.
What I hate is when a group of 4-10 friends take over a Valve server and will votekick EVERYONE who joins that isn't one of their friends
Fuck the Darwin's Danger Shield.
Fuck the toxic playstyle it panders to.
Fuck the fact it removes sniper's only true counter.
Fuck medics healing DDS Snipers.
Fuck engies who put sentries and dispensers NEXT to the medic/DDS sniper camp.
How valve thought a 150 hp sniper with bullet resistance should ever be able to retain the ability to head shot is beyond me, the point of the item set was that you can't be killed by headshot, but you can only bodyshot with the Sydney Sleaper.
[sp] extra points if the sniper defends that it's a completely legitimate strategy and not fucking broken. Super extra fucking points if he's using the bazaar bargain so before you can even charge up a little, he can quickscope even faster.[/sp]
Madam I'm Adam, the MvM player who cannot outdamage an engineer as a Demoman after 214 tours, and is the very definition of why the mode is considered toxic by the vast majority of players.
[editline]24th January 2016[/editline]
The kind of guy who tries to invalidate you because you're typing instead of using voice chat. The kind of guy who votekicks people because they're new to the game without bothering to try to teach them.

It could be worse, it could outright make you immune to headshots.
It could be worse, it could outright make you immune to headshots.
It the sniper is at least competent, he might as well be because the time you need to take the second shot might be your death.
Here's another one. People who votekick you because you roll Gunslinger (note this is on Pubs)
WOW
Fucking fix the Borneo exploit already
joining a tf2center lobby only to discover half the team is just screaming into their microphones
my splendid ability to get 3 people down to 10 hp but not actually kill any of them and die because of that
that curse even follows me into MvM but on a larger scale
why'd they have to nerf the half-zotachi? pretty much reduced it to pure scrap
why'd they have to nerf the half-zotachi? pretty much reduced it to pure scrap
Because there were just too many situations where demomen would just run into a group of people and kill all of them because of random melee crits and gaining full health every time.
Because there were just too many situations where demomen would just run into a group of people and kill all of them because of random melee crits and gaining full health every time.
it's a good rival to the eyelander which gains speed and a little extra health and has more range; I believe half-zotachi does not have the range that eyelander does. full health was the only good thing about it and could be very life-saving; now it's worthless
They gave zaitoichi eyelander range and gave you the option to sheathe the sword so it's actually not completely useless on anything that isn't demoknight.

The eyelander also gives you a lower starting health and no random crits. Honestly they could have just removed crits from the half zat and it would have been fine but as it was there were too many situations where the person using it would just crit an entire group of people and come out with nearly full health.
half zatoichi was the only demo change in tough break that wasnt complete trash, I actually use the the thing now, never did before
why'd they have to nerf the half-zotachi? pretty much reduced it to pure scrap
Because it was an overpowered piece of trite. For the Demoknight subclass, it was an pretty much an objective upgrade to stock.
Zatoichi is still probably my favorite sword for pure Demoknight, maybe together with the Persuader. It's a different weapon now, but random crits were bullshit from the start and the overheal and range is a nice replacement for the full heal, especially if you cap out at 300.
Still hate what they did to my poor Splendid Screen. These bastards.
mannpower has turned into 'run away like a little bitch at the first sign of trouble even though you're basically invincible'
a soldier has the regen powerup, i'm a scout and start shooting at him, he immediately tries to grapple away
i didn't even have a powerup or my respawn uber
worse when they have agility
the only way to kill them is either a heavy with precision or with the supernova
half zatoichi was the only demo change in tough break that wasnt complete trash, I actually use the the thing now, never did before
Actually, The Persian Persuader is pretty neat if your going with the full set (Splendid Screen, Wee Booties and The Persian Persuader) but other than that it's not worth it to use.
On topic of annoying things:
I have this bad habit of inspecting my skins whenever I equip them. You can cut the inspection animation off by shooting but, you can't cut it off by trying to reload and that even sometimes makes it re-start and you won't even reload at all until it stops.

I never use booties unless im intentionally trying to be stupid, or nerf myself because my teams rolling. any loadout with 0 ranged options is going to be trash in a game where everyone else has a gun.
Every other demo change was tons of degrees of stupid, cannon losing its projectile speed and therefore gimping its entire effective range, claid getting changed from the most skill indexed sword to a shittier version of the pubstomp gimmick swords, targe, and turner getting pointlessly nerfed even though they were weaker options. Making the entire crit system both bash based was idiotic.
But whatever, bad players did not know how to fight a weak subclass so they bitched until valve made the game dumber and easier for them just like they have done with countless other weapons and even some classes.

I guess Valve consider that to be the responsibility of the team who made it, being as it's a community map?
Because it was an overpowered piece of trite. For the Demoknight subclass, it was an pretty much an objective upgrade to stock.
While I agree that the Zatoichi change was good, to say it was an objective upgrade to stock for demoknights doesn't really make sense. Stock was never viable for demoknights to begin with. You don't exactly see many bottleknights running around. Giving up your stickies for a shield that makes you more effective at using a melee that doesn't even have decent range doesn't make any senes. Comparing the bottle to a sword isn't really useful because they're weapons for conflicting playstyles. No one is going to seriously consider using a bottle as demoknight regardless of whether the zatoichi is an option or not. And even if the bottle was viable for demoknight, most demoknights use a grenade launcher, not the booties. The grenade launcher gives demoknight a lot more versatility than the booties, and losing your grenade launcher every time an enemy escapes or gets killed by your shield isn't trivial. The only circumstance where the zatoichi was an objective upgrade to stock was if you otherwise were going to play with the booties, a shield, and the stock bottle, which nobody with half a brain would do anyways.
Regardless, making the zatoichi viable for soldiers and sticky demos was a very positive change, so I'm happy with the change.
I guess Valve consider that to be the responsibility of the team who made it, being as it's a community map?
The bug is within the movement system. Adding nobuilds to every single map is a really poor fix when its a flaw in the engine.
The bug is within the movement system. Adding nobuilds to every single map is a really poor fix when its a flaw in the engine.
What annoys me is that this bug/flaw in Source engine games has apparently existed for years without really seeing it abused much in TF2, and now every bored shit that exists solely to copy YT instructions on how to ruin entire servers' fun has received encouragement and instructions on how to do it via 2 well-known Youtubers dedicated almost entirely to promoting that kinda culture among the playerbase.
I'm reaaaaallly not buying the whole ''but we're doing it to spread awareness of the issue so Valve can fix it'' bullshit excuse this time around. Yes, it's technically something Valve should've fixed years ago in the engine itself, but they probably didn't cause it was apparently only used by speedrunners and people goofing around in SP source games.
Now, it's been made a TF2 issue by recklessly disseminating it and popularizing it among the part of the playerbase that gets off on doing this thing over and over for hours, on countless servers, literally blocking any semblance of gameplay on server after server.
