I like some of them, like the Crosslinker's Coil, Pip-Boy, Foppish Physician and Distinguished Gentleman.
Also I sold my Cockfighter for a BMOC right after it came out which was nice, but I miss both of them. I barely see either one nowadays
Quadwrangler is one of the best promo items. Dat collar.
this one medic that refused to run kritz instead of stock in MvM
When a person would of died for over-extending as Soldier, until they get 3 crits in a row which they did not deserve.
Getting a huge lag spike out of nowhere while in-game and having your ping constantly jump between 110-370 for the rest of the game. (Was at 30 before).
Even better, trying everything you can to get rid of it, but it's still following me to every server I go to several hours later.

why have triple damage when you can never die.
the fact that valve caters to terrible players who suck at the game in general. Its okay little babies, valve will make hard game easier for you so you dont have to actually think at all while playing the game.

For example?

I'm going to take a wild guess and say that he's talking either about the phlog, the lucksman, the natasha or the machina.
But mainly the phlog.

miniguns, axtinguisher, Love and War sticky launcher, claidheamh mor, tide turner, chargin targe, black box, razorback, darwins danger shield, baby face blaster, vita saw, loose cannon, cosy camper, airblast, random crits etc.
all weapons/ game mechanics that were over or needlessly buffed or needlessly or over nerfed to cater to bad players, or are just designed to reward being a bad player overall. Valve devs cant seem to tell the difference between a weapon thats legitimately broken and a weapon thats fine or even under powered thats just good at taking advantage of unawareness and low skill levels.
When vote boxes pop out in the middle of a fight.
It distracts me and covers a part of a screen.
I've just played a game, where people were constantly trying to call a vote, either for a next map or a kick vote.
And for 4 minutes I've heard a vote popup sound at least 9 times, all in the middle of a fight.
Yeah, many of the promos are ugly/unfitting as hell.
Disagree all you want, but I'm really glad stuff like the Hero Academy promos, Batman promos, Bioshock promos, Crafty Hair, Area 451, that Binding of Isaac turd thing etc. is either forgotten at this point or is simply owned/worn by so few people these days.
I barely see people wearing Genuines or other typos of promos nowadays. Kinda keeps the visual theme eyesore butchery at acceptable levels.
In all fairness, some of them look awesome, people can recognize what they are and fit to the character, for example

However, the majority of Genuine look really badly designed. Unless you know what game the source material is from, you'll have no idea what they are
Like, what the hell are these?

What are these supposed to be?

And what in God's name is that?

i think thats supposed to be the heavy.
that feel when u were doing very well, then suddenly your team sucks, this guy who was legit pro came in dominated me for 5 times without a chance of fighting back
my pride got crushed
i think thats supposed to be the heavy.
Are you sure? It's kind of hard to tell.

And because he's doing so well the game rewards him with more random crits to instakill you with.

That is actually a pretty alright re-make of Brimstone from the game, though. It doesn't really fit Tf2, but it's still neato.

Wish it had the colour it had in the actual game, though.

he was a spy
he was a spy
Facestabs count as random crits too
Facestabs count as random crits too
Shit, that's kinda interesting when you think about it
no that's a terrible mindset.
unless you think random crits on sniper rifles would be "fair" too.
when the majority of a team is just "( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) I'M BETTER THAN U, U MAD BRO? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)"-spamming soldiers that use the black box
I recently played a payload game where i died to this one soldier at least 12 times.
Each time, no joke, it was due to a random crit.
And then as the cart was touching the endpoint, again no joke, I got Autobalanced to the losing team, just as they were about to lose.
I think this means something.:v:
is airblasting the direct hit at all possible? I don't remember ever pulling it off
It depends on the distance when it comes to reflecting. In my case the minimum safe distance to reflect starts at the maximum range of your flamethrower. But in Direct Hit's case, you have to move a little more further away. It's possible to reflect up close, but that depends on prediction.
Pubstompers. People who decide to shit all over a pub. Bonus points if they are all part of the same clan.

Even more bonus points if they have competitive badges. (Even if they're just in their inventory)
Have you ever had to fight a heavy-med combo, both apparently being part of a team that was gold division 3rd place in 6s and highlander, with a team of only F2Ps, gibus snipers/engies and a battle medic (who forgot that his medigun even exists) to rely on as your backup?
It was quite the experience. One that still haunts me to this day.
When you get vote kicked off a map cause a person wants his friend to join him on the grounds of "they play a good medic"
People...thats code for "I want my butt-plug medic on the server as he will only heal me"

How dare people with competitive experience play the game on pubs.
The nerve of some people.

When they played in gold/plat 6s efficiently and are currently stacked in one team, it's just a little bit of annoyance. Ya know what I am saying?
Content:
Normally, whenever i use The Backburner. I get crits from the back %100, no doubts about that. But when i get a contract asking me that. I do litterally no damage from the back half of the time.

I wasn't referring to every player that played in a competitive league who goes into a pub for whatever reason. I'm talking about pubstompers who, on top of being pubstompers, are also very experienced in competitive play (gold/plat) and just go into pubs as a team with the sole intent of shitting on the entire enemy team and making the whole match miserable for everyone involved.
Almost like smurfs in CS:GO.
