What I used to do when I ran into another holiday punch heavy, while playing holiday punch heavy, was to punch them at the exact some time as hitting the taunt button. We'd both hit each other, but my showdown taunt would be activated slightly earlier than the laugh taunt, and I'd taunt kill them instead.
How would you hit each other to activate the laugh taunt? That has to be done from behind, doesn't it?
How would you hit each other to activate the laugh taunt? That has to be done from behind, doesn't it?
if the other heavy have the holiday punch,he will laugh with any hit
People who genuinely get angry because you pick up their weapon.
I only got irritated because of this once, when I was medic and I wanted to pick back up my medigun for the charge but a friendly medic beat me to it.
On topic: Is it me or are lennies, "autism insults'', lag spikes, and tunnel visioning on a rise nowadays? I experience all these things at least once in a 15 minute play session. Sheesh.
Don't forget "REKT"!
That doesn't make it better. If anything, that makes it worse. It's like using "retard" as a term for "idiot". Physical and mental disorders aren't funny, and using them as a way to say "stupid" is essentially calling everybody with such a disorder an idiot. If I ever see somebody use terms like "autistic", "retard" or "faggot" as an insult or negative term, my respect for them drops to zero. If I ever see anybody on TF2 doing it, I make a point of harassing the shit out of that player from the other team. Even if it means going spectate for several minutes to wait for a slot to open up. The worst part is you get called a "SJW" for getting angry about this kind of stuff.
Players that haven't realized that there's a mute button in game for a reason. And this isn't just directed towards ona, this goes for all people who don't like hearing what other people say. I've seen this issue mostly in CS:GO, but also a lot in tf2. This goes into all games with a mute button. If you don't like what people are saying for any reason, just mute them. Don't try to enforce what you think upon them/try to police what they're doing, no matter how offensive they are. Just mute them and hope others do the same.
Got called a rage heavy for taking down a sentry nest filled with short circuit engineers, apparently its unfair to change your own strategy to counteract their own strategy. This mentality of "you shouldn't be allowed to counter me with a different strategy" is starting to become so constant and apparent that it's absurd...

Dominated an unusual-wearing spy while playing sniper one time. "LOL Rage sniper". I don't get how precise aiming = rage. How dare I counter you while I play a class I feel like playing for fun! I swear, this community. Anything for an "insult" nowadays, even if they get a kill on you after you kill them 11 times.

Also, if you get backstabbed multiple times and decide to go pyro to spycheck for the team, you are a rage pyro. Whatever you do it's because you are MAD because they are so much better than you.
It kind of bothers me that there is no Ad_ prefix. Attack/Defense and Control points use the same prefix so for unfamiliar maps I go on expecting control points and get attack/defense.
When a pyro walks right past himself who is sapping my sentry and just keeps bumbling on his merry useless way. Then three more pyros walk straight past him too.

Now everyone knows you're dominating them and they avoid everyone else just to get to you.
So I come across a pyro and not being in good condition to fight it I decide to sticky jump away. Immediately after I sticky jump away, the pyro airblasts me away from him, somehow causing me to slow the fuck down to a dwaddle while he pulls out his reserve shooter and kills me with his stunlock bullshit airblast that is completely fucking broken and never should have made it past playtesting.
I'm well aware that this thread and it's ancestors have been through this particular annoyance many times, but I just felt the need to bring up the matter of hit detetction/backstab detection one more time. One more time. I was backstabbed while I was looking at the back of the Spy who stabbed me in one of the few instances where I was genuinely really upset while playing this game. That is all.
This seriously annoys me. ("pudis" is me btw in case you were too lazy to click the steam icon under my name to see it)
My entire night has been getting killed by random crits from scouts, soldiers, and demomen, right as I maneuver myself into a tactically advantageous position.

And as has been previously established, I am incredibly petty about things like this. I have a spiteful mindset, and when somebody offends me, I would rather offend them back than just ignore them. Mature? No. Satisfying? You bet your bones it's satisfying. And I'm not playing TF2 to show everybody what an above-it-all mature man I am. I play to throw piss in people's faces and shoot them with rockets. Because it's fun, and satisfying. On a related note, here's an old one: Finally pushing through a strong defense/defending the last cap against a powerful offense only to have the other team try and vote for a scramble because they're suddenly not winning anymore.

I noticed that a lot of the time on Borneo, BLU teams that manage to painstakingly reach the first cap fail to flush out the RED team's Engineers, teleporters and/or nests inside the wooden shacks to the right. They just continue to try and hug the cart while tunnel-vision focusing on trying to push it further towards second, and they ignore the fact that there's often 1 or 2 level 3 teleporters and an Engineer setting up with another Sentry in there. I've seen RED bounce back from losing first cap plenty of times due to these reinforcements, keep their teleporters up, and re-establish a choke-hold around that first-cap area. There's almost always so much Engineer junk and a teleporter or two somewhere in the back of those shacks, and yet attackers often ignore that and don't clean up the area even on the brink of finally breaking through. Or folks'll chase some fleeing Scout or Pyro to their deaths and run right past a working level 3. 5 seconds later, that teleport's brought in their MVP Medic+heavy class combo and you've got a big presence around the cart to try and dislodge again. If that teleport stays up, you're gonna have half the enemy team, including speed-building Jag Engies, set up there in no time. And you're back to square 1. Long story short, ignoring active level 3 teleporters off to the side of the main cap after you cap it is a really bad idea, especially if you've had to work so hard to dislodge a capable team from the area in the first place.

[sp]It sounds a little dumb, I know.[/sp]
And then you realize his disguise is perfect because he's not an actual spy and he stole your name and your cosmetics, use the same voice commands and taunts than you, and then you make friend with him and stick together while your own team is constantly shooting at you trying to determine which one of us is a spy. [sp]Yeah, this happened to me once[/sp]
People who scream "HACKER!!!" at the top of their lungs if they get killed. Me and a Soldier got kicked because some Spy got mad at us for killing him too much, appereantly if you kill someone over and over again you are a hacker and you should go die.
Mute in game also mutes text in chat, ya dingus.
This is news to me. Good news, I might add. I never noticed this before. That said, I still prefer to exact my own petty vengeance on people who I find distasteful. Because I am an angry, angsty 15 year old at heart.
The robot pyros in MvM. You can be nose to nose with them and they still have the perfect timing to airblast your rockets.

I play better with my alt account than my main, welp.
