and if you tried playing against the FP CEVO team... :smug: you'd probably still be able to drop our medic, because I'm the pocket :saddowns:
Sirdang there really isnt a FP team anymore, alot of ppl quit becasue 1: there was no organization and 2: we wanted to just play for fun good luck though
no man no we're still doing this shit We've got Cheese, Heavy Gaga, me, and Drako we just need another soldier :saddowns:
Why do you care at all? You obviously don't know how competitive players play, so all you do is call them stupid?
Yep, because they rage about a god damn game. Pixels... nothing real.
Yep, because they rage about a god damn game. Pixels... nothing real.
They don't rage where does anyone get this idea
no man no we're still doing this shit We've got Cheese, Heavy Gaga, me, and Drako we just need another soldier :saddowns:
You're forgetting someone Someone that plays solly
Oh QQBistro that makes 6, hah Johnlmonkey how about that by the way practice starts when Fano gets off work
Worst thing about competitive gaming? The wannabe competitive gamers who join servers and talk about 'pubbers'. Anyone who uses that word seriously is a candidate for immediate euthanasia in my book.
It's not really fair to ask competitive teams to reorder their strategy every time Valve introduces something as weird as the wrangler, or, notoriously, the Sandman.
Anyone who claims having to adapt to something is unfair without taking the feelings of those who have already adapted into consideration is a selfish dick.
Anyone who claims having to adapt to something is unfair without taking the feelings of those who have already adapted into consideration is a selfish dick.
But it's not the players who make these decisions. It's the league as a whole.
Worst thing about competitive gaming? The wannabe competitive gamers who join servers and talk about 'pubbers'. Anyone who uses that word seriously is a candidate for immediate euthanasia in my book.
It's not like pubber is an insult, hell, I'm a pubber. Anyone who plays in public servers is a pubber; and almost everyone is. Don't blow a gasket.
Stunning a medic who has uber and not letting him deploy it is the biggest reason
might'swell ban airblasts, because you can move an ubered enemy away from their medic, or ban headshots because they can kill a medic before they uber. maybe we can ban killing altogether, let's just be peaceful in tf2.
I'm really starting to think that there is barely a difference between competitive players and the whiny SPUF regular players.
might'swell ban airblasts, because you can move an ubered enemy away from their medic, or ban headshots because they can kill a medic before they uber. maybe we can ban killing altogether, let's just be peaceful in tf2.
...no No. NO. None of those are overpowered. You CAN'T say that picking a medic before he drops charge is the same as completely nullifying it once it's been started, and the backburner is completely different because it doesn't stun, it doesn't cause the medic to stop ubering the target, and it can only be used by the pyro who isn't viable in comp play to begin with. You can act like you're smarter than competitive players and think that they don't know their own game all you want, but you'll still be wrong and they'll still be right because they've put hours of not only practice but also planning and thinking into this, which you haven't, and just because a weapon seems fair in the context of your gameplay experience doesn't mean it's okay in competitive play. Just stop acting like you have some intellectual high ground here, stop acting like comp TF2 players aren't good at TF2, stop implying that the competitive scene and high-level tactics are bullshit, you're dead wrong and every time you think that way you're exhibiting anti-intellectualism as well as douchebaggery and arrogance, you're not smarter than the entire high-level community put together and if you actually got involved in this you'd see very quickly that you've been wrong all along and that they're actually right. The problem is, unless you actually think competitive gaming is cool/interesting to begin with, it's almost certain that you won't do this, so it's a waste of my time to try to convince you to.
"Baaaaaaaw Why everyone hates me? I hate them ! I HATE THEM !" [editline]10:49PM[/editline] Stop souding like a fucking douchebag who is always right, your choice of words doesn't help you either. [editline]10:50PM[/editline] And playing on competitive server doesn't make you smarter than everyone else on this thread.
And playing on competitive server doesn't make you smarter than everyone else on this thread.
There is no such goddamn thing as a competitive server and I'm not a competitive player myself I'm just saying that there is a huge amount of backlash towards comp TF2 in here and among TF2 players in general, and it's completely irrational for anyone to be angry at them. Everyone here is acting like a lynch mob and insulting the competitive community, and it's totally uncalled for.
Good players are people who don't take the game seriously. [editline]10:53PM[/editline] Damn broke automerge
From Wikipedia's page on Anti-Intellectualism
In public discourse, anti-intellectuals usually perceive and publicly present themselves as champions of the common folk — populists against elitism — proposing that the educated are a social class detached from the everyday concerns of the majority, and that they dominate discourse.
If you're someone dismissing high-level play, insulting the credibility or reliability of the opinions of high-level players, or deriding the concept of competitive TF2, this is you.
I'm just saying that there is a huge amount of backlash towards comp TF2 in here and among TF2 players in general, and it's completely irrational for anyone to be angry at them. Everyone here is acting like a lynch mob and insulting the competitive community, and it's totally uncalled for.
Maybe there are really some good competitive players who can take fun, but most of comp players are whiny and serious douchbags (in my experience). Your intervention doesn't change this fact sadly.
Wow, sissies.
Because there are really some good competitive players who can take fun, but most of comp players are whiny and serious douchbags (in my experience). Your intervention doesn't arrange this fact sadly.
If they were even in a public server with you, odds are they were a low-level player to begin with or they probably would be busy with practice.
Good players are people who don't take the game seriously. [editline]10:53PM[/editline] Damn broke automerge
Because that makes sense.
...no No. NO. None of those are overpowered. Nonsense.
Are you saying that people who know how to use BB right don't exist? Nonsense.
What? Pyro will never be relevant to comp play unless something dramatic happens.
If they were even in a public server with you, odds are they were a low-level player to begin with or they probably would be busy with practice.
So what? I'm playing TF2 to have fun, not evaluate people around me. I prefer to have a good ambiance and low-level players than good players in a serious ambiance. If someone need some help about anything, I can tell what he should do.
What? Pyro will never be relevant to comp play unless something dramatic happens.
Ok so Pyro who can airblast is never revelant on comp play?
no man no we're still doing this shit We've got Cheese, Heavy Gaga, me, and Drako we just need another soldier :saddowns:
Last time i recall you had a full roster and people asking to play...now no one wants to play. Also, watch out cheese is gonna rage you're heads off. :D
I don't get the Natasha ban at all. Isn't the Heavy already considered underpowered compared to Soliders and Demos? The wrangler nerf is fine. Valve might as well have named it the stalemater because that's all it does.
the thing is the natascha is a straight upgrade from Sascha because Sascha is only better against heavies and sentries, and in comp play you never get heavy vs. sentry or heavy vs. heavy
Yeah because there are no engineers, no pyros, no spies allowed on comp server? Sounds like a lot of fun, yeah /sarcasm
the thing is the natascha is a straight upgrade from Sascha because Sascha is only better against heavies and sentries, and in comp play you never get heavy vs. sentry or heavy vs. heavy
Until the Equalizer gets banned, that point is moot. Also, Isn't buffing a bad class a good thing?
Yeah because there are no engineers, no pyros, no spies allowed on comp server? Sounds like a lot of fun, yeah /sarcasm
they're allowed but they're underpowered so nobody uses them also stop saying "comp servers," there's no such thing.
they're allowed but they're underpowered so nobody uses them also stop saying "comp servers," there's no such thing.
Tsk tsk. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=tf2+competitive+servers
