Height advantage, spies can't get to it, tucked away enough that if your team is up front they're going to keep you safe, and I can cover the three main ways into the mid section... Conc will keep you alive while cowmangler gives you inf. ammo. Bosses also ignore you because your in a spot they can't get too.

Being told sniper is worthless in MvM Wave 666, asking constantly how we're going to deal with the tanks and that first wave of crits giant soldiers and medics... [t]http://images.akamai.steamusercontent.com/ugc/142255738563705359/0DA22129032C91A216D3B1883A8618D6244C7B64/[/t] We lost, but I still top scored on sniper with damage and had the second highest damage on the tanks, beaten by the Phlog pyro... All I did was upgrade melee speed and meleed the tank the entire time to get that, probably used Kritz canteens since sniper fully upgrades pretty quickly. Not even remotely hard to really pull off numbers like this either. I feel Wave 666 really caters to snipers outside of super high damage on tanks with how large sight lines are in that map. Hell, we had spawn camping giant crit soldiers too and I was killing them one by one as well by fully charging, opening the door, head shooting then falling back... We lost though, tank got too close to the bomb sight and the phlog pyro never considered riding the tanks to avoid the spies during the spy spam section of the wave. Even though I was doing it the entire time...
