Would like to hear a response from Nicknine or other contributors. The "Mercs from an alternate reality" makes me think both artstyles could coexist. Maybe if the lore was the TF2 universe invaded by combine, the artstyle could all be TF2 but the campaign would make no sense as it's meant to be played by Gordon Freeman.
in my PERSONAL OPINION: i think we should use both art styles and don't talk a lot of these things, i mean we are just making a mod of tf2 to play the hl2 campaign, thats all. Also i don't know what Nicknine think about the art style.

Here's some things I gotta ask related to the gravgun. [B]1[/B] - Has anybody started on it + If nobody has started on it I'll have my concept artist and I play some ideas out to get a feel for designing it. [B]2[/B] - I'd love to work on it but not sure if you want it exactly designed like the hl gravgun or a tf2 designed like gravgun I could probably have it sized to be somewhat large like the medigun but can have handles similiar to the shotgun.

I just had some retarded(or genius) thoughts. First off, would there be a way to merge this and TF2 Classic? And second, how well would this work with Team Fortress Classic and Half Life 1? If not that, Black Mesa and Fortress Forever?

Is it me or i loaded d2_coast_10 perfectly fine then the next day the map is consistently crashing on me
Should note that we fixed manhacks, fixed the localization files, and made the Spy faster. Update the game.

One question to ask, are these changes like spy speed and possible engi hauling going to be able to be toggled like in Tf2C(I know they are different projects)? I don't want to lose that "aunthentic", early 2008 experience .
I can't believe people can't understand that this is a direct fork of TF2 Classic from January 2015, you even see it in the video. Nicknine was working on it at the time for fun and set it aside for a while. All these people are making requests for modern TF2 features don't get it. This is pretty much original TF2 with the roots of Classic shoved into it. I'm not even sure that the Nailgun was included yet. At this point, the only things left from TF2C are a few cvars and some UI textures.

Most of half life 2 is you consistantly moving without stopping making enginner sentry gun useless for most of the game.

It is easy to set up and update automatically, just make an account, download Github desktop, then on the first page of the forum, click the link and find the button that says to open on Desktop. I reckon atm they are doing high priority bug fixes.
Aren't you going to have to redesign some of the maps? IIRC The heavy doesn't fit through some of the smaller doors and crawlspaces in HL2 maps.

So while visually they clearly can't fit through doors and vents and such, they fit through it fine.
I've been trying to think of a way to design the gravity gun in the form of a tf2 art-style while working among other projects. [IMG_thumb]http://i.imgur.com/ide9bAN.jpg[/IMG_thumb] Its a concept art created to get a general idea of making one. Not gonna design it yet till I've figured a definite design. Looking for [B]input[/B] or [B]ideas[/B] to improve this design. ([I]Note: this thing is gonna be sized to a medigun[/I])
