I mean, of course it works. We supported it from the get-go, it was just unstable and unfinished to the point that we decided to work on other things.

Not to my knowledge, but somebody is making a fan-mod called "Lambda Fortress: Extended" which is evidently opening the game up to HL2:EP1, HL2: EP2, and Half-Life: Source (obviously).
Could I have a link to it? When I did a Google search, nothing came up.
Probably because it's not meant to be public, and is still being worked on. Just because something is in the works doesn't mean it's publicly available for download.
Woah now. This is one thing I never understood about Facepunch, the random passive aggressive responses to people who just ask simple questions. The game is available to download, it's just that previous downloads were taken down so that devs could work on it later. Just ask around certain communities and I guarantee you'll find a download. That being said, don't report bugs or anything because most of them will probably be taken care of by the time of the next update (likely sometime in the 2040s.)
hl2 campaign fixed.zip since it doesn't seem like nicknine will get back to this soon, i've decided to post the fixed hl2 campaign vmfs here. we were to implement the fixes through a synergy like system so that no extra downloads were necessary, anyway, the hl2 maps folder is the normal fixes, the extra folder is a temporary fix for looping maps in ravenholm and coast levels, if you have a copy of lambda fortress, compile and play.
I'm just glad people still care about LF.
A big part of the reason people don't host for LF is that it crashes so often, so you pretty much have to babysit the server to make sure people can paly. Does this fix any of that? If so I might bother booting up a server.

crashes? they don't happen for me on most maps (original), however a few known crashes are: -d2_coast_10 load -d3_c17_05 load i believe -handbrake with jalopy(ep2), not sure about the buggy if it's not only those, tell me your system specs. these maps have many things fixed, such as: -maps will not change if you go back to prevent re-doing some segments -fixed being left behind -made areas that were too easy harder -fixed many specific scenarios (e.g you can no longer shoot important metropolice in trainstation maps) -extras folder has fix for looping maps (before save/load gets implemented) if anyone has any questions or wants to report other bugs add me here:Steam Community

You know, I took down the download for a reason, the mod was nowhere near ready for a public release, even the post above you states that you can't host a dedicated server for it because it crashes so often, just to give you an idea of how rough it is. You could at least have the decency to not post DL links in the official thread.

I personally do not like my old one, so here are some new ones. The 1st title, logo, thing is a weird combine version. Black text, blue gradient, and combine symbol in the middle. The 2nd title is just a better version of the original. The 3rd one is kind of a reference to the comics how the TFC Heavy talks about other teams besides our Team Fortress; Team Vanguard, Team Citadel, etc.
A couple of game changes that could make the mod more fun to play. Kill Zones at the bottoms of some pits Checkpoints using the moving spawnpoint system that TF2 already has. A normal mode. In my professional opinion, original mode is too easy, and hard mode is too hard. A medium ground should be reached. In easy mode, you should beat each encounter with about 80% of your current health on easy, 70% on normal, and 50% on hard. This can be changed accordingly, if its too high or low. Reduce Medigun healing. If you have a medic and he's a good medic, you'll never really be in danger of dying. Add Engie building pickups. I know it's on the table, just don't forget, because otherwise Engie is really under powered if he doesn't build a dispenser. Allow Spy's sapper to sap combine tech. This would most likely be turrets, or something else I can't think of. And implement faster stabs please. Give teleporters more use. Maybe, instead of teleporting, they act as buildable spawn points that break after one use? Or spawn supplies? Teles are quite literally the most useless things in the mod right now. I don't know why the vehicles cause your screen to shake while in use, but its annoying. Remove it if you can please. Slightly reduce the movement speed. All the classes speed around a lot. Heavy, Solider and Demo are the only one's who don't, so reduce a majority of the classes speeds by just a little to be closer to Demo's speed. Make Chargers do something. Maybe just straight give health instead, or maybe they give ammo. or ammo and health. Just something instead of being pointless waste of framerate. The Grav Gun's range seems shorter for some reason. I don't know if I'm losing my mind, or if I'm right but take a look at it. Well, that's some of the stuff I think the mod could use for one reason or another. I tried not to come off as condescending but I probably did. If anyone wants to add to this list as well, that'd be great.
The first one might look better if you make the text white again. It just looks odd being black. The second one is good, but maybe replace the TF2 logo with a lambda.
original is too easy all around and hard is hard cor 2 or less players, so I'll make a medium preset and share it here.
I just thought of another change. • Engineer building interactions could better. Enemies should prioritise the Sentry Gun when it says shooting them. Rollermines should target Engie buildings the new sap them like a sapper. I don't want to be a burden on any of the programmers. I just think these change would make the mod better.

It's been clearly noted several times the mod isn't going to be out any time soon. Your best bet is the lambda extended mod, but I don't think you can DL it without the original lambda fortress.. Not like anyone plays anyway.

Its not out. they not gonna reveal anything about it yet till later on. so at the end of the day, we have to be patient. Also not only Lambda fortress is gone. but they removed tf2 classic as well. so we wait and say stuff on this forum cause we can.
its actually out you just need the right connections to enter to a certain discord server that has the download link and the most recent one
lambda fortress extended is downloadable and actively worked on, you just need a link to the discord.
