Lies and slander. I've tried dualbooting XP with Windows 7 to see if performance would improve, and there was essentially no difference.
Why would i be making something up? It worked for me and i got a massive FPS boost.
Your processor should run tf2 fine, its the fact your running integrated graphics. I ran tf2 on a 1.6ghz dual core for a while with 8800gtx and i had no problems. Now i'm using my i7 930 :smug:
i7? That's overkill if you're just using it for gaming.
scrub, pros use x16 AA
Pros use 16xQ. :smug:
My graphics card is going wierd lately I put everything except shadows and AA on high w/o Multi-core rendering and I get 35FPS on junction I get 40FPS on everything on low, ON JUNCTION :frog:
I got GTX 460 and Q6600. I have set everything low, even my resolution. I get 20 fps in a battle. Two years ago I could play this game on my old computer with Pentium 4 and Radeon 9600. A year ago I could max the game with 8800GT and the Q6600. Now I can't even play this anymore.
What causes slow down, exactly? Outdated Processor?

I have a HD4870 and Q6600 overclocked to 3.3Ghz and i get around 50 FPS with the highest settings possible with a config and 8X AA.
I'm using a high FPS config; TF2 looks like a nintendo 64 game. I have my antivirus off (whenever I'm playing). I'm also playing at a rather slow resolution. Drops to about 10fps whenever I get near battle, let alone look at battle. What else can I do besides make it look any worse then it already is? :frown:
Wow dude you must have a pc near mine my game run's the same.
Edit: @Sie-Sveinhund, are you serious or are you trolling? 200FPS on 9800GTX with HWM models is not possible.
I ain't trollin'. [editline]10:19AM[/editline]
then restart gcfscape
Forgot this
Pros use 16xQ. :smug:
I meant that but I was too lazy to go into TF2 to check
