Could we not post about him? It's exactly what he wants. Just let him cry in his own little corner and don't talk about him. Anyways the mod is looking neat! Last time I checked in there weren't even green and yellow teams. And that deathmatch mode is interesting.

Can talking about 404 be bannable for this thread? Just throwing that out there since some people absolutely cannot help bringing back the subject and there are also people who post on this thread for the sole purpose of saying "hey guise im siding with this guy on a story i know nothing about, you people are dicks, ok bye now". EDIT: I'm trying to sound neutral in what I say and refrain from wording things offensively yet 404 still gets pissed by that post and then proceeds to seep through my FP Steam link to throw ad hominems at me.

Im very happy with this project, because the unnecesary hats will be gone that means that there will be a solid game with a solid community, that means...GOOD LOOKING SKINS, not only "Gibus Hat recolor" (probably there is going to be exceptions) new mercenary models, cool textures, IMGINE THE POSSIBILITES
Well, it's really hard not to talk about 404 to be honnest because he will still make part of the TF2C history weither we like it or not. We may try to forget it and not talk about it, but we cannot erase events of the past, especially the ones out of our control. They are times where trying to kill something only makes it stronger. So i say we simply move foward to a brighter future and leave this event to the history book of the TF2C developpement.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong but he did nothing besides provide hosting space (which about anyone with space and bandwidth to spare can do) and being a PR guy which he was assigned to because everybody else was too busy working on the project or didn't want to spend time doing that kind of work. Turns out he was a gigantic vindictive drama-magnet and almost anybody else could have done a better job than he did, and it even got bad to the point where some people did not even want to take part on the project for the sole reason of not wanting to be involved with him. So no, he wasn't that big of a part on the project.
Apparently there was something going on in the trello, it would be nice if it was finished soon. Since we lost the forums, there's no way for the public to see what's on the project's to-do list and see what progress the team's making.

I would really like to know if you would consider moving the game into Steampipe. I think it would really help futureproof the game (and allow for mod customization so you don't have to keep replying to making the game another hat simulator.)

You can use vpks for mods, though.

Don't put words in my mouth trying to make it look like I don't want the mod to be made public just because of personal reasons which I did not ever mention, the project is still pretty early in development and I'm saying its unfair to just open the floodgates like that and force the devs to ping pong from development to setting things straight in the thread because some people are causing drama or other problems.
Things are happening, development has not halted. As been pointed out most people are in their last semester of school/uni and have to prioritize their time and attention there. yadda yadda etc. However some say that if you chant Mr Modez 5 times in a row you summon him and he posts a screenshot of the new menu.

So I just downloaded the mod. It looks really good but I am currently having the problem where my viewmodels are running at a much slower framerate than the rest of the game (I move at a regular speed). If this is a known bug sorry for being redundant.
