Seeing as to how Black Mesa Source - which essentially has its own custom branch of the engine now - isn't able to get ragdolled gibs to work either and has to settle for jigglebones, I don't think it's physically possible for us to do so, for the time being.

The file name will still be ctf_4fort, however the proper name is Fourt. Think 2fort, ctf_2fort is the map name, the proper name used in the comics is Teufort.
Ooh I just thought of a neat little idea to toy around with What about opting to go without anything in one or two weapon slots (Obviously outside of DM, since you start without a primary and can't really pick and choose all the time) for bonuses? Like a speed boost on Heavy when you remove his primary, or more secondary damage on Scout without a scatter gun, or on most classes removing your melee gives extra ammo for all other slots.

I've got a nice, but purely cosmetic idea. Why not make a bodygroup for each class to show weapons they have holstered. Like for example. As Heavy if you switch to Shotgun, he will carry his minigun in a back or see Engineer carrying a Pistol in his pocket and Wrench hanging from his belt when he is holding his primary weapon.

Would only be made worse on a large scale when in a heavily populated server.

Not only that, but the on-model versions could easily be lower poly versions or something along those lines. That said, I think it's a largely arbitrary thing to do, so I wouldn't personally support or encourage it. A valid reason for not including it however would be that it would break the class silhouettes. One of the key dev decisions of the original TF2.

I would be weirded out by seeing an heavy carry a minigun on his back tbh
TF2 already has a few weapons which does feature visible indications such as the mantreads, buff banner, etc. Though I cannot say if those will be implemented in TF2Classic. I would like more weapon loadouts to be shown on the character class models, however I would say in a subtle way compared to say... showing all of the weapons themselves. Like mentioned before, if such a mechanic is added, it should not mess with the silhouette in any major way. Something more subtle like shotgun shells being displayed on soldier's belt if he has a shotgun equipped. Or his helmet being directly linked to his rocket launcher equipped (so you can tell when his secondary or melee is out). Such cosmetics help you recognize what enemy you are fighting and what you are up against rather being surprised by what weapon a class pulls out. It's a concept that I have been bouncing back and forth with myself.
