I think the second green scout of the non-ingame row would be the best because it would be alot harder to mistake it for another team colour. And as for yellow i'd say eithet the one already in game or the one on the second row of the non in-game ones as its neither too bright or too dark. The two others could easily be mistaken for other teams in darker areas.

For all the people working on DM maps, they will need to be updated. TF2C 2.0.0 will be using info_player_deathmatch instead of info_player_teamspawn.

Any info on the Civilian?
Any info on the Civilian?
None aside from Maxxy still working on the model and Ben still doing the voice lines.
that means we can play hl2dm maps, cool!
you're probably going to get stuck in a couple doorways TF player size is bigger than conventional source games
you're probably going to get stuck in a couple doorways TF player size is bigger than conventional source games
it can be coded to be smaller!!
that's gonna mess up a couple things!!
that's gonna mess up a couple things!!
It's easy to code in a cvar to switch player hulls (which is what I did in my HL2 campaign fork mod).
None aside from Maxxy still working on the model and Ben still doing the voice lines.
The model is ready, only waiting for the voice lines
The model is ready, only waiting for the voice lines
ive gotten the civilian into Faceposer, and i've gotten faceposer working. Wav files extract phonemes, the phonemes mostly work. [t]http://i.imgur.com/Xr34zQ5.png[/t] the trouble i seem to be running into is the civilian lacking the phonemes.txt files in /expressions/player/civilian I tried copying the phoneme table from another merc, but half the phonemes dont work. I think the civilian needs his own phoneme map files to point to the right flexes before we can go any further.
Any updates on server linux binaries?
Any info on the Civilian?

None aside from Maxxy still working on the model and Ben still doing the voice lines.
Howdy! I did a several hour long Hitbox stream of recording all the lines several weeks ago, processed the audio and then spent hours of other days cutting all of the takes into individual files. Not much work has been done implementing VIP at the moment as most priorities have been focused on working on Deathmatch. I sent over a test file a few weeks ago for use with phoneme/lip sync testing and so forth, but I've been sitting on my files till the gamemode demands it as I have around 600-700 separate audio files/takes and would prefer to only upload and send them when I knew the gamemode was more or less done bar voice line implementation. Then we'll need to go through the lines/takes to determine which ones to use and which to discard and then rename the final files and apply lip-sync information to them. Long story short (I seem to say this a lot, my bad); The Deathmatch gamemode is the current priority and is being worked on, VIP has a few key assets completed, but is not yet in full swing as it were.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/Xr34zQ5.png[/t]
I have to say; blue-eye Civilian looks strange to me after using my personal use brown-eye edit in SFM for so long!
i'm so hyped [editline]2nd August 2015[/editline] can't wait to play killbox maps
Could we implement a command for servers that disables all of the community features so that it's only plain vanilla tf2? I would love to have some plain tf2 servers on this, since the older 1.0.0.9 version of team fortress 2 we used to play on is dead.

I think he was looking for it somewhere and maybe forgot, lol.
we can already do this plus its up to the server owner
Wait, what? we already have the command? in what update and what command is it?
Kiwi im not exactly sure you understand what is he talking about
Significant progress being made towards the Deathmatch gamemode. I hope y'all are ready, the lack of patches is frustrating for us just as it is for you, but we are making sure this patch will be damn worth the wait
yeah don't enable any of the bhop settings and not allowed any of the other weapons other then stock as far as i'm aware most of it is server side still i haven't touched my server in months the only thing that's different is the weapons but that can be handled via source mod as far as i'm aware https://forums.alliedmods.net/showthread.php?t=105219 who knows if we can port this over if you wanted it done via source mod i completely got what he said don't worry
But even then its hardly just "deleting server.cfg and letting the server create it's own" Hence my confusion
Unrelated but is there a way to fix this? I've uninstalled it twice and it keeps happening
those white are something to do with the map and not the program i've notice the same thing in a few hl2 maps not really sure what causes it :/
Alright so, i'd like to share a new Nailgun sound that i did by mixing TFC one with the TF2C. https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/56811277/tf2classic.7z What do ya think?
those white are something to do with the map and not the program i've notice the same thing in a few hl2 maps not really sure what causes it :/
He means the Merc's face. The lines are your camera.
i completely got what he said don't worry
I don't think you did. He specifically asked for a way to disable the community features in TF2C and run the game as vanilla. Also, you linked a CS:GO plugin. As I said before, Iamgoofball mentioned there being a CVAR that disables the community features, I'll see if I can get back in touch with him for this and reply (hopefully) with the info. Sorry if I come off as rude or pissy, I just believe that if you aren't sure about something or don't know the answer then you shouldn't respond. It only serves to cause more confusion in the end.
Yup, I was asking for a way to disable all community features. Basically a command to disable all community features so that it's just this http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1438572 Because I wished that someone could make a plain vanilla server with stock rotation, since I miss playing tf2 like that. Maybe 404 would be willing to make a server since he hosted a server on the older stock version of tf2. either that or we revive team nostalgia 2 since the group still has 694 people in it http://steamcommunity.com/groups/TeamNostalgia2
Hey i just noticed, is it me or the Civ's teeths are the same as Heavy's HWM model?
