they arent broken, that's what happens when you go and max out flexes
I'm certain the flexes i used combined shouldn't create this kind of effect, i'm just pointing it out.
I'll stop here just because creating a conflict isn't really worthy.

I reapplyed the same flexes that the old model used. It would be too much work to entierly rework it, but maybe in the future. I just want to continue working on other models...
[sp]Also Lerd, nice to see that you noticed one of my latest release[/sp]

Well, i sure do love the assets you make. They're pretty cool!
So anyways as I had mentioned earlier, I had an idea for an officer class that might be good for this mod. Essentially his role would be to provide leadership to his team, being able to use small surveillance drones or cameras to look out for enemies, or provide minor buffs to players within a certain radius.
While the actual class itself is still in the thinking process, I did think of a nice character design. Rather than generic American/British military man #0002, the officer would be a "dishonoured" (deployed to late to see combat) Japanese army officer who was hired by TF Industries to lead a gang of murder-junky mercs and provide just enough guidance to keep at least some of them from getting killed.
hey if you guys have the full versions of these rectangular GRN/YLW posters that would be great

i need them for my hydro map
Well, this is embarrassing. Now I'm getting a ton of missing textures and then an engine error if I try to join a server. What have I done wrong now?
And yes, I've installed all the patches.
If it helps, this is the error I get if I join a server: http://i.imgur.com/2IK198X.png
EDIT: Also, the missing textures are in the menus rather than in-game. Strangely enough I have little missing texture squares in each corner of the options menu and sometimes the background itself is a missing texture.

Is the SDK base on a differnt drive then your soucemods folder?
Is the SDK base on a differnt drive then your soucemods folder?
Nope, same drive. And I've made sure the beta is set to "upcoming" and everything.

To elaborate, basically the Officer is a bundle of daddy issues.
His father was an officer during the Russo-Japanese war, and was a leading general during the invasion of Manchuria. Feeling that he needed to live up to his father's legacy, the Officer( at this time, the Cadet) enrolled in a military academy to learn all he needed to know about commanding soldiers. By 1943, the Officer was sitting around in Tokyo waiting for his deployment papers as all the important battles passed him by. Finally getting a notice to ready up for deployment on August 10th, 1945, the Officer readied to prove himself in combat. However, by the time he had reached the battlefields in China, the Japanese had surrendered.
With no way to prove himself in combat, the Officer took a position at an up and coming food distribution plant (secretly a front for weapons smuggling by TF Industries). Noticing the Officer's penchant for command (bossing around workers, violent discussions about warfare and tactics, actually reading the Art of War, etc.) the Administrator took a personal interest in him. Offering him a position at the command of a team of nine equally psychotic mercenaries, the Officer jumped at the opportunity to finally prove himself in honourable combat.
I think GRN's interior should be something like this:

A bit less tv station-y, but a lot of screens and such.
Really cool. Definately should be! :P
Question regarding instalation, do i just drag and drop the patches on top of the normal download and keep going from there or do i find all the files and replace them as needed?
I'm certain the flexes i used combined shouldn't create this kind of effect, i'm just pointing it out.

Updated the SFM / GMOD version and fixed the issue. ( Some corrector flexes were incorrect. )
To people who asked about the viewmodel animations:
Don't worry I'll be animating the mercenary's viewmodels ( Hopefully going to go well. ) and I'll fix the allclass animations too, and as well add new ones for the existing weapons or new weapons.

Merge the tf2classic folder with the updates and merge all the folders and replace all the files (it does this for you although it asks you if you want to merge/replace them.) You have to do it in order, so 1.8.0 first and then 1.8.3.1.
Another question, is the Autoupdater good?
Question regarding instalation, do i just drag and drop the patches on top of the normal download and keep going from there or do i find all the files and replace them as needed?
After the main client update 1.8.0 then 1.8.3.1
Some Ylw inspiration for future reference. :P
Some Houses and shacks near the docks.
[t]http://www.ski-epic.com/pacifica_boat_docks_historical_pictures/p44b_pacifica_docks_after_storm.jpg[/t]
A bunch of cranes and fishing supplies lying around to make obstacles and stuff to break up the map a touch.
[t]http://www.engelhardsoceanviewlodge.ca/files/images/docks.preview.jpg[/t]
Some gigantic cranes for scenery. Maybe even some giant cargo ships as the environment?
[t]http://blog.admiralty.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2012/12/Southampton-Docks.jpg[/t]
And of course the docks and maybe a couple of walk-in ships.
[t]http://shorelinesblog.visitvirginiabeach.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/docks.jpg[/t]
Anyway, I know we are not focusing on the Ylw team yet but I had a bit of time on my hands. :P

Why Avira keeps telling me that TF2CUpdater.exe contains a virus TR/Crypt.ULPM.Gen?!
Why Avira keeps telling me that TF2CUpdater.exe contains a virus TR/Crypt.ULPM.Gen?!
Because it's Avira.
Try using avast!
Oh,you tell me to read the previous posts, why don't I? Well I just read all of them and didn't get much out of it! So quit telling me that, please!
Also, why does nobody play the bloody official maps for once? It's always 4-team deathmatch in cramped spaces this,4-team deathmatch in cramped uncomfortably close bases that.

People are excited to try out the 4-team deathmatch, not everyone has gotten the chance to play it yet. It's the most functional new addition to TF2C currently besides the new weapons, which are on by default anyways.

Well all the servers are just 4 teams or a custom map,why can't there be one good official map server? Just one. I am not stupid for wanting that.
some screens of a WIP Egypt style DM map, will post more as the map comes along

Are there currently any YLW/GRN textures that come with TF2C?
Are there currently any YLW/GRN textures that come with TF2C?
Library is still being built. I've asked a couple of artists to take the initiative to start on a list of what's needed so artists can jump in and create those textures.
Nothing happened as of yet, the basics should be in game though.
Warpath
Some comparison...
And don't worry, these pictures are still showing early work...
Everything will be fixed and scaled correctly and smoothed, so don't complain about it...
And what comes to textures, just trying them.

Im hoping this will get a proper art pass, and not just stick to looking like the classic map, like with any other of the original remade maps
Speaking of, there are bound to be lots of already remade maps that we could consider incorporating, as well as other plain good community maps
