As others have said it looks like he's just copy pasted in. 2. His pose is boring, even the pose Imacreep has doesn't seem enough. Every other class has this exaggerated offensive pose that defines their character. i.e. Scout is posed like he's playing baseball, spy is standing like he's against the wall with his head tilted like he's listening to someones conversation, Heavy is brandishing his minigun in a pose that shows how heavy the gun is and making him look as tall and big as he can. The merc is supposed to be generic without a specific personality so try to find a pose that shows him in a combat pose. Maybe once you have the civi he can be posed next to him in a protective stance looking out for any would be assassins. Just make sure he has some dynamic pose that looks like he's ready to spring into action. 3. Shotgun is boring. Each of the other mercs have their trademark weapon out, so they stand out from each other as a different play style and class. I'd recommend having him hold the knife, it looks great and is unique to him.

This gives the picture a good sense of depth. I think it would be a good idea to apply this to the left side, where the tall mercenary would properly be placed behind the short engineer and pyro. Also, having the mercenary in the front really exaggerates his boring posture, which isn't good. Putting him in the background would make it less noticeable if you plan on keeping his current pose. I would also later replace the shotgun with his unique assault rifle that will be planned to be used in deathmatch.

Having the DM merc in an image that tries to integrate him with the rest of the mercs seems kind of off. He's supposed to be his own thing, putting him next to the other mercs as though he's just part of the team weirds me out a bit.

Displacements (the cliff walls) need some work, I'd suggest a 3D skybox too, especially if you're able to rocket jump/sticky jump higher than the walls. With a 3D skybox, you can align it to each displacement edge, then just texture it like it's the top of the cliffs. That way, the cliff walls are still walls, and it looks like you can stand on top of the cliff walls but in reality you can't. Either that or build the cliff walls outward so that the outer perimeter of the map is a rectangle, then do the 3D skybox thing again. With this method, half the top of the cliff walls are actual parts of the displacements, and the rest is the 3D skybox. Hopefully you get what I'm talking about, it's hard to explain.
