i think a revamped VSH would be sick. I just think the entire mod itself needs more refining before jumping into big new projects like that.

At that point, you'd essentially have to make a Juggernaut mode tailored for TF2 where hands get passed off on the fly. It also makes it more competitive, and I think that's where the arena mode comes in.
I had an old idea years ago where it would be a hybrid of oddball and juggernaut modes by carrying an Australium Idol that grants the holder a TOTALLY RIPPED BOD and you just use the Idol as a club. Getting someone to drop it would be either killing them or probably stunning them somehow. One or the other. They'd also obviously get extra health, but not TOO much.

We don't have the amputator anyways. As for the Soldier nades, a quick explosive while your launcher's clip is empty can be very helpful.

The mod isn't only trying to be what I said above, but, a general community version of TF2. We shouldn't shut down the notions or ideas of things people may want, but on the other hand, they should be also put on the backburner until the whole thing is in a stable, usable, more finished state when people can start diverting attention to those things.
And yeah, even hats could be a thing, but on a serverside plugin-based thing. 4Chan Party Van used to have the custom hat Sorucemod plugin, why not let people use it in here too if they want?
Honestly I like the hats and misc because of customization and identity for your own character, but it's the mannconomy that really did it in for TF2 alongside the totally unfitting items being thrown in. Other than that, hats are cool. The unlock systems and trying to legitimately work it into the game isn't so much.[/QUOTE]

Alright, just downloaded the pistol animations from the Trello to see it myself, they look [B]really[/B] good!

When he finishes realoading, the weapons subtly goes a little up when going to the idle animation, that can be seen on the video for it as well.
I feel like the forums need a "recent posts" activity log. I've seen it implemented on a different phpBB forum.

The Sniper should have a sort of mini stun granade that can travel a lot of distance and makes those who get damaged easier to kill by your teammates.
It's abit weird that the YLW Engie's shirt and helmet are the exact same colour.

Personally I do a better job matching colors by eye, which is great of me but problematic when it comes to me trying to help out with stuff like this. That said, I don't know how useful it is, but I did some quick edits

generally regarding yellow i think the primary color needs to be more mustard and the darker shades shift more towards a warm tone, while the "cream spirit" parts are paler and shift towards the other direction.
for green the primary ought to be warmer and the darker shades colder, much like wiht blue shifting towards cyan on the brighter tones and navy blue on the darke ones.
I need to get back into working on that TIP stuff so i can do the color corrections i was supposed to do ages ago...

Grey is used a lot in neutral areas, so it could cause problems there as well.

Purists? You mean people with common sense. It's like alright you've got this yellow themed team NOPE GRAY. You want yellow? Here's a yellow hat. We already have Gray Mann.
All these issues regarding yellow and their pallette makes me think we should consider having more [b]3-team[/b] stuff in mind.
It's only been discussed a little bit yet, but anything that works for 4 teams should work just as well, if not better with 3, only one team more than usual to think about.

To be honest I'm not sure why purple wasn't used instead of yellow for the 4th team. Contrasts with the other colors well enough, especially the Cream Spirit. Was there a specific reason for that?

It matches up with TFC's teams. Plus, purple is already the color for the Administration team.

disregarding yellow being used as a compliment to the other teams, yellow green and red are about the most contrast you can get out of 4 colors.

Honestly could get away with it but we'd probably want to shift all blue textures towards a turquoise/cyan shade for there to be enough contrast.

And when it comes to the administrator being purple, keep in mind thats in a world where there are only 2 opposing teams, in this universe she should probably be color coded in gray if it was to make sense

Because the primary colors of light is Red, Blue, Green while the primary colors of colors are Red, Blue and Yellow.
Honestly, after editing the turquoise into BLU-ish colors i kinda have to say there's a point to considering purple in place of yellow, it does contrast pretty well

The only issues I see with it is firstly its 'feminine' associations, but going for a royal sort of theme could brush that off fairly easily, and secondly purple often being considered an odd color, as apposed to yellow
And regarding what i said about it possibly confusing players about which team people are on it should do so less than yellow seeing how every team has some amount of yellow on them, forcing players to only react when a certain amount of yellow shows up, and to think twice when catching a glimpse of yellow on a non YLW team member
