I posted this 30 minutes ago dude, im not saying that ylw wont win because it probably will but i think its a bit early to tell yet
Homosexuality is negativity? So it WAS partly due to your sexual insecurity. I knew it.
That's not what I meant at all. I meant the use of slang is the negativity. I have no issues with the LGBT community. Two of my moderators on my TF2 servers are (MtF) transgender and very close friends whom I care deeply for. They're like sisters to me, basically, even though I actually do have a sister.
As someone who isn't straight I'm also quite offended. Good job on doing what people tried to prevent.
see
That's not what I meant at all. I meant the use of slang is the negativity.
You indirectly pinned it on 404 that he was anti gay when he didn't even mean or say that. Good job.
Oh, I thought you were giving me shit too. Now I feel like a goof :v:

That's also stupid thinking by the same people who think irregardless is a word. Color cannot be stupid on it's own. You're implying that people will perceive the color as homosexual, not slang gay. Color is not gender specific and what some people may assume should not stop you from doing this if it really is a good idea.

I don't know why I brought this up but since you've begun bringing up silly things, I figured I'd respond in kind. Also, as a product of the generation I grew up with, some colors were gender specific and are still gender specific to me. Blue was for boys, pink was for girls. I still see it that way. When I was born I was swaddled in a blue blanket, and my sister, when she was born was swaddled in a pink blanket. That's how things were in 1987 and 1990 respectively. And I'm sure hospitals still do pink/blue blankets for girls/boys to this day. Some people, upon seeing a guy wearing a pink/purple shirt, would think "he must be gay". It's not meant to be hateful, it's just the first thing that enters most people's minds. We are a product of our generation. Side-thought: I'm honestly confused by all this genderfluid/genderqueer/pansexual stuff, as when I grew up you were either a boy or a girl, and you either liked boys or girls. I understand transgender, as when I was in grade school (grade 3 for example) there was a girl who knew she wanted to be a boy at an incredibly young age. She even got in trouble for using the boys bathroom. I recently reconnected with him on Facebook. He's made the transition from female to male.
You indirectly pinned it on 404 that he was anti gay when he didn't even mean or say that. Good job.
Well, excuse me for misinterpreting his ambiguously worded post. How does that offend you as a homosexual?
homosexuals = feminine behavior stereotype that never seems to die (someone should fucking end it please)
You can't end stereotypes, just like you can't end racism. Sad fact about the world.
This 404 drama never ends,seriously.
And here's what it all boils down to. Anti-404 agenda :tinfoil: Seriously, we were on topic until you started with your shit.

Im tempted to make a TF2C thread simulator starring all of your posts now Seriously guys, cut this bullshit now, all of you

Or because they think youre derailing the thread and your points are pretty dumb
What would orange's team name be? That's the problem. ORN? ORG? Not to mention, always blending in with TF2's infamous desert theme.
The thing about the names of red, blue, green and yellow is that they can all be easily condensed into 3-letter abbreviations (RED, BLU, GRN, YLW) Plus, as stated before, TFC had a yellow team, so why change it for TF2C? Personally I think yellow is the option with the least issues, unless there's something I'm not getting.

That's also why they added rim lighting to their characters. A bit darker to remain yellow, but dark enough to be able to spot the rim lighting.

The battle has ended, and holding the grudges is going to make life miserable for both parties.
Shhhh,it's all behind us now, positive thinking. No need to bring that irrational disagreement shit back. Who's fault it may be,whether it be mine or not,is not an issue now. Even though I was wrongfully accused and made out to be the bad guy by both parties when ambiguous po-- who the fuck cares now? Please, don't revitalize that stinkin' argument. If 3 team doesn't work,I still believe with the lighting capabilities of Source, purple can still stand out.
God... See? He's done. It's now the other side causing continued war.
-snip
Thanks [editline]21st April 2015[/editline] ________________________________________ So! If the team stays yellow, I recommend the outlining for the characters, to make them prominent. Mix that with the most differentiated colours of yellow from the desert that we can, and we may just pull it off!
I recommend the outlining for the characters
You mean the rim lighting?
I don't get why YLW team needs to be removed/replaced, I can easily spot it on a desert environment. example: [t]http://i.imgur.com/uT2jUnV.png[/t]
You mean the rim lighting?
Yep. Whatever they call it. I still want to see rim lighting soon however.
