Joined a helltower server yesterday. I changed name right when I got in to the server, and then their anti-hack plugin banned me for changing names too fast. Oh well.

He went on about how he would "restore his sister's honor" while his sister who was apparently a 12 year old girl according to him was calling me a "faggot" and telling me I was a cyberbully and should "drink a bleach cocktail". I pointed out that if you can't handle dying in an online FPS you probably shouldn't play it, and he went absolutely ballistic going on about how I had to be gay because I killed a girl and becoming even edgier with his promises of avenging his sister.
He ended up focusing me for the next [i]7 map changes[/i]. He also killed everyone else because they "got in the way of his fury" but still got demolished and shot out of the air while jetpacking towards me. But eventually we got to a map that literally didn't have a skybox, so I went !ghost to explore the possibilities of such a map just to have him over voice tell me how much of a pussy I am. I just ignored him and he went spectator as he said he'd get an admin in there to "administer justice, you're not even a brony fucking troll"
The admin arrives and you can tell this guy is tired of dealing with all the shit on the server, so he bans me for 10 minutes for being "rude" just to shut this guy up. From that point whenever I join, this edgy teenager's imaginary internet sister leaves and he starts calling me a bully :tinfoil:[/QUOTE]

Why should it matter if you're not a Brony? It doesn't immediately mean you hate them, even though you might, but that's up to you.
I'm more disgusted by his attitude though. It sounds as if he needs serious help or something. Or he was trolling you. Either way, it's annoying a shit to have someone like that on a server and abuse the admin commands, like a lot of admins... They think just because they're admins they can act like the biggest dick on the planet and always think that they are right when they are not.
I understand their rules and such, but when it drives people away and lots of people just get upset over it, it's time to stop. How are they expected to get donations with such an attitude? I've seen this sort of thing and I've seen the results, and yet no one takes any notice while the community continues to get worse and certain players stop playing there.

Joined advanced mvm server.I have joined in middle of second wave. We had no demos so I decided to be one. After wave players realise that we don't have engy. So as Iw as the most recent player joining they kicked me from server and banned.
A friend of mine got banned from a non-pony server when the admin ASKED him if he liked Fluttershy and he just said "I don't watch that show"

242 is a pretty high ping, although some servers are pretty strict about it.
I once saw a Minecraft server that banned you if your status showed up as under four bars.
I recently was on this server with some cool custom MvM maps on it, everything was fine until I posted my spray.

suddenly this girl goes "ewww! why would you do that?!" and suddenly all the people in the server are yelling at me for upsetting her. (They all seem to be Australian for some reason, too.) They keep telling me I should be banned for having a pornographic spray. I keep trying to explain that it's not pornographic, but they won't hear it. Then the admin tries to make me leave by spamming rickroll. I tell them I don't mind the song so much though, so finally they all votekick me.
Some people are just such prudes. You'd honestly find much worse in a PG movie.

I was kicked from a MvM Ghost Town match (I assume) because I picked Scout the other day. No telling me to choose a new class, no messages, nothing. The vote kick thing came up, and I got booted.
Funny thing was, I joined a different GT server immediately afterwards, went with the exact same Scout loadout and we won.
At once point in a server I had never been in before, there was an admin that for some reason hated when people had sprays on the same wall as his. So he would "reserve" walls for himself, and everyone seemed to know his spray because they automatically knew not to put their spray there. Well, as soon as we change maps, he goes and claims one of the walls in spawn and says in mic "Okay, don't put any sprays here or I ban you." I proceed to go over and spray directly on top of his with a spray that says "Fuck you, I do what I want". Ended up permanently banned.

They used to be used a lot by hackers since the accounts cannot be VAC banned (and they have almost every Steam game). Don't know if they're still used as much with the advent of F2P TF2 and how easy it is to re-make accounts over and over.
Why can't they be VAC'd? Well, if someone walked into a Gaming Cafe, cheats in hand and bans almost all the accounts on the premises, the owner is going to be mighty pissed (especially seeing as, without accounts and logging, it's going to be a nightmare to find the source/person). VALVe made a system where you pay a one off fee (dunno if it's changed. I read up about Cafe accounts about 3-4 years ago) and you get an account which can be used on multiple computers at the same time. It was useful for Hack scripters to test out their arsehole-mode hacks without being banned. They also used to circulate account details for little children who have more pent up anger than sense to test said hacks.
*Edit* Banned from some backwater server for partially blocking (by that I mean "the action") a porn spray with Gaben's staring face while an admin spent most of his time staring at it (no joke either).

3 friends and I all got perma'd from a 24/7 2fort server because we were Cow Mangler alt-fire spamming the enemies' battlements since they had 6 snipers with near-perfect aim. It just so happened that the admin was one of those snipers and all four of us were dominating him.

Basically OU was a category that Valve mis-represented. Apparently they wanted it to mean an "original universe" as in something completely different (for example Zachariah Scott's: Big Trouble in Rumble City). It used TF2 characters, but they weren't playing their normal role.
The issue is when they wrote up the rules, they gave the impression it meant 100% custom content created by you. This lead to 4 entries. A 2D animation consisting of maybe 10 frames put onto models and just flipped through, a video about Chess vs Checkers, the teaser for "Elements" (which is a planned web series using 100% custom content), and a video about a sphere invading a world of cubes, which happened to be created in a little over an hour as a joke.
Because they only got 4 entries, one completely serious, one eh entry, one not even really SFM, and one that was a complete joke, they didn't put them onto the Saxxy page. They made a blog post though not many saw it.
