If it was in public chat as opposed to Steam overlay that's a pretty legitimate ban.
I was kicked for using "fly hacks" on a server with +sm_jetpack. Why have the plug-in in the first place if you don't want people using it?

I was once banned by this 12 year old admin who's a kiss-ass fan of star. He banned me for an hour for using the gunslinger.
Once I came back, that same admin was spamming the shit out of mini sentries.
I hate admins that are serious hypocrites.
This was about a month ago. The kid lost his admin for having a little power trip and banning every frontier justice or gunslinger user on the server.
Thank god for decent super admins/community managers who actually give a fuck about there users and rid the community of abusive mods/admins.

First, I wasn't even talking about anything MLP related, nor was I spraying a MLP spray. The only clue that I'm a Brony is my Steam profile pic. I told him that he is full of bullshit because he said he was a admin on a VALVE server. He asked me to leave, I refused because I wasn't doing anything wrong. He called a vote to kick me and somehow the entire server voted yes. :suicide:

I don't understand the boxes you're getting, that is a pretty stupid reason to get kicked. I think some brony's can be dumb at times but I wouldn't kick one for the sake of them being one. Jesus christ you guys are harsh.
I got banned for a 32 days from a server because I had more gameME points than an admin there.
The funny part is that the server resets the points of people who don't go on there in a month :v:
He thinks he's god's gift to TF2 and literally lives by "everyone worse than me are f2p scrubs, anyone better must be hacking". Not that gameME points has anything to with skill, but using his logic they seem to do.

If a Brony entered a server with the username of his shitty OC, had a profile pic of his poorly drawn picture of Rainbow Trash, Had a spray saying "This Spray just got ~20% cooler~", had weapons like "Pinkie Pie's party vibrator" and kept saying over mic "Join the hurd faggets", then I would be more than inclined to ban the fucker. If it's just a name or profile, I wouldn't care about it, and neither should anyone. There are modest Bronies out there, believe it or not.

On topic: I got banned from a valve server for 'crit hacking'. I was using the neon annihilator in the waters of ctf_sawmill.
Friend of mine plays Demoman pretty well and sends me a Steam message about how he got kicked from an arena server called "Harry and Dave's (or some names like that) Something-or-rather (it's been awhile, okay?)". So I find the server and change my name to "Dave's Harry Vagina" and join the game.
I spawn into Arena_Well, pick, my class, and the round begins. Someone says: "Dat name", I rocket jump, and kicked/banned.
"Reason: Wallhacking".
Only server I've ever been banned from in 4 years: worth it.

So I joined a Turbine server with 7 people.
I'm just having a good time then I see a tiny little Spy trying to protect Intel, I don't see him at first, so he backstabs me when I try to cap.
Then the admin says "3 weps for !resizeme".

The admin then threw a hissy fit and banned me for being abusive.
