I had worse from them, I got a perma from all servers. For playing Demoman. On a jump server.
A friend of mine was banned from a Skial server for rocket jumping as a pyro, then shooting the soldier with a flare gun, and then axtenguishing him as he landed. The guy accused him of hacking.
This didn't happen to me, but one time, I was playing with one of my friends on a server, and there's an Aimbot/100% Crit Bot/Name Hack Bot. We notice him hacking, and my friend is on his team. This is a Valve server, so expect dumb crap like this. My friend succeeds a vote on him, only for him to come right back, and votekick him for the exact same reason. He put up "Accused of cheating", and that succeeds, so, to help my team, and avenge my friend, I went on his team and kicked him.

I was surprised, because the moderators/admins actually seemed smart enough to understand how I did it (GUESS NOT). I assume they thought I was hacking or something.

Some admins are stupid and think that doing things like that is somehow harmful. The convict gaming admins are that way too, which is what contributed to my ban from their servers.
So here's a story
I've been on this server for a while, Higher Nations, their achievement server. Mostly because I like to airblast jump with the low gravity. Anyways, one of the admins there hated my guts from day one. They would teleport, kill others while godded, switch on friendly to pretend he didn't have god on so he would have an excuse to not take damage, and kick people without consulting them.
He hated me specifically since I would point out that he had god on, and would slay me if I got away from him, and kick me when he dominated me.
So word got out and he lost his admin powers. I figured I ought to get some revenge on him. So, I started out as a Soldier, killing him with splash damage, then demoknight, and Scout. After a while I went Sniper. I managed to land two headshots and a bodyshot on him, and I had only played sniper for two minutes.
He accused me of aimbotting, lied about spectating me to see if I was, and I didn't get a chance to defend myself.
I sent a message to the groups owner, but they didn't answer me.
What a lovely piece of shit group.
I got banned from a random tf2 server for killing friendlies. This was a normal server I would occasionally hop to if my regular servers were empty.
This server had a normal valve map rotation, the map was pl_upward at the time. I went pyro and started to airblasting people off the cliff and I airblasted a spycrab off. After that he got pissy and started whinning in the chat saying you can't kill spy crabs, After doing this a few more times he perma banned me for killing spy crabs :v:
I was kicked after I finally killed my Nemesis.
I pushed forward finally driving my team so close to victory as I typed in the chat.
"eVERYONE GET TO THE CART NOW!" In capitals by accident.
A vote kick went up for a second or two with no reason given and before anyone could vote it disappeared. I thought nothing of it but all of a sudden I was banned from the server.
I was playing demoman a valve server and I got kicked for "stealing kills" and not "letting them to my teammates".
A guy started typing "STOP STEALING KILLS! PLAFFY NOOB!", I just answered with a smiley ("<:").
And then another one (a demo) said "I want to kill nemesis but plaffy46 dont let me", I ignored him. He then initiated a votekick against me.
The funny fact is, seconds before I got effectively kicked, that guy got a kill assist of his nemesis, and, of course, I was the killer.
And just after the kill, he slowly turned to me and, totally appropriated demoman voice response: "I didn't need yer help, ya know".
It purely made me dying. I didn't even notice that I got kicked. No regrets, at all.
I got votebanned from a Valve server for going Phlog Pyro on KOTH and getting 30+ killstreaks through consecutive lives and dominating 80% of their team.
I don't know if this thread is still in use, and I don't care, but I remember being kicked from a Vs. Saxton Hale server for getting mad at a this one pyro. I remember the hale being stunned completely, and our entire team was going to taunt kill him. Then this one noob pyro airblasted him of the friggin cliff, and I got slightly mad at him,(it was a bad day). It just so happened that that asshole was both an over-sensitive jackhole and friends with one of the admins. When the admin confronted me about this, I was calm, and even apologized trying to keep things from going out of hand, but he was being a little kid and freaking out about every god damn motherFUCKING thing. It also sucks cause all the players on the server of course are kiss the admin's asshole. I hate it because when I was defending myself on the chat, I was the one keeping calm, apologizing, looking for a solution, and even being nice, and the fucking admin was being a jack-off, acting like a little 12 year old, stubborn as fuck. I'm sorry if this thread was rantful, and mean hearted, but I'm ultrapissed, mainly cause I love that server, and I hate fucking admins who jack off to other players cause of their OWN fucking priorities.:suicide:
Well, I guess a badmin banned me for "invisibility hack" when I used dead ringer, he shot me, I feigned death. I killed him and that happened. Also, another one. I got banned perma for reason "Ponyfag". The server didn't even say no pony shit. lel.

I thought an enemy was only counted as "wet" when they were submerged enough in water for the player-model / physics to initiate the swimming animation?
As in, just running through that ankle-deep water in the basement of Sawmill isnt enough for a player to be considered "wet" for the Neon-crits to apply?
Otherwise we'd see the same thing occur in 2fort sewers, but nobody uses the Annihilator there unless they have just exited the center 'deeper' area underneath the bridge, where they would have been swimming.

Nope, if ANY part of a player is coated in a liquid (Jarate and Milk) it crits. I've beaten a few heavies in Sawmill basement with the Annihilator thanks to the ankle-high water.

Actually, they could even be standing in a "water surface". So much as a puddle on dry ground that doesn't even submerge the player counts enough to make the crit occur.
Strange. I've never, ever, not once, seen anybody use the Neon-Annihilator in the sewers or in the basement area of Sawmill / 2fort.
The only use I've ever seen people use the Neon for is the center-area of 2fort underneath the bridge. Or the rare circumstance where there is no water around whatsoever and they just happened to melee a Jarate'd / Mad Milk'ed person.
But then again, 99% of Pyro's these days are too occupied with the Degrerveinguisher loadout.
A couple of random players and I all went C&D Spy with the revolver of our own choice. We'd travel together while cloaked then we'd uncloak in front of single enemies and gun them down. This went on for about half an hour and I got banned with the reason "Hit and run bullshit." I'm only assuming the other dudes got banned as well.

Never really saw it that way. I'd always used to play with a close friend of mine and I wanted us to have something that matched in our names since we'd usually go Medic + Heavy, so the idea of the symbol was brought up. Just left it there ever since.
But whatever. I should've expected it, this is just the first time.

One time I placed a teleporter exit into lasers on a custom map. Everytime somebody went through the teleporter, they got killed instantly by the lasers. I got kicked before somebody could even go through it.
So I was testing out my Logitech that looks like a PS2 controller, but has Xbox buttons. I pushed the left joystick so I'd walk slowly..
Ban 1: Speedhacking
Ban 2: Godmode (I was walking slowly as a scout, thought it was a spy, they couldn't kill me)
