Got booted from a group who hosts a few servers, as well as probably being banned from all their servers, one of which happens to be a GMod zombie survival "mall" server.
I only joined to inquire why the fuck they banned AwesomeX (FP user sarge...I forget the rest of his username) and all his admins from their servers just because Sarge recently opened his own ZS "mall" server with pointshop just like they used.
Apparently the administration of the group (Friends who kill zombies together) think that using the same plugins is "stealing their stuff" and they got butthurt.
One of their cronies 'Mr. Clarke" (potential FP user, he's in the FP steam group) left a message on my Steam profile calling me a faggot or something, telling me to shut the fuck up because I apparently "dont know the situation" and threatened to report me to Valve if I continued to fuck with them.
So I'm going to continue to fuck with them. I could take the moral high road and just ignore them but since Mr Clarke chose to call me out on my profile then block communications with me like a bitch, I'm taking the low road.
Got a 1 day ban from a 24/7 2fort server for not being serious. Actual ban reason was that i was being a "friendly". Apparently it's frowned upon to try and be nice on a server that nightly ends up with conga parties and people doing nothing but chatting about music and booze.
I've gotten a temporary (1 week) ban from a server once for "griefing" after targetting a donator pretty hard. When I was a spy and he was a medic.

I got kicked from a pl_cactus server earlier cause I called someone a "Nigger Knight". The morons name was, quite literally, NIGGAR NIGHT. He was playing demoknight, btw. I just corrected the moron on his spelling and I got kicked for it for "being wacist", as one whiney 9 year old said over voice chat.
I got kicked for not playing Engi in a MvM server.
We already had 5 other engies.

I got kicked for having too low a ping. No, really. Too LOW a ping. See, the server I used to go on a whole lot was located right in my city, so I had about 5 ping all the goddamn time. It was amazing. the admin claimed my ping was "clearly hacks" and told me to increase it or he'd ban me. After everyone on the server questioned his judgement, he permabanned me to "set an example".

It was the owner, actually. As it turned out, I was just one of the last victims in some crazy scheme he had to get new people. See, us regulars were real good at the game, and so apparently by being good, we drove away new people. The owner, thinking with what little brain he had, decided he'd find arbitrary reasons to ban all the regulars so new people would come. Why, just a week before me, he banned my friend for hacking when he was using the server's built in third person command to sticky-trap. As for a revenge raid? Well, I doubt it'd make much difference. I don't even think oz is still up, as far as servers go. But if you do see it up, I wouldn't mind others causing a bit of havoc on tape. Might be fun.

Something similar happened on a server I used to frequently go to.
They banned one of my friends, because apparently he was too good and would drive away people when ever he was on the server. They never told him to tone down his skills or go to another server. They just outright banned him from one day to another. Their reason for this was that they wanted their server to be fun for people at all skill levels and not a place for really good people to pubstomp. Turns out they did it to 3-4 people afterwards as well.
I could kind of see their reasoning behind the ban, since a really good player can easily turn a pub in to a steamroll, and getting steamrolled will often make people leave the server.
But I visited their server yesterday, and one of their admins went heavy when we were about 12 or so people in the server. That 1 heavy quickly got turned in to 4 heavies on the same team, 2 of the heavies was admins and the other 2 was regulars. It kinda makes their reasoning pretty stupid when their admins try so hard to roll the enemy team.
Not to mention that the only people who can initiate a scramble is the admins, so if there's no admins on the server, there's absolutely no way of stopping a steamroll.
I capped the Intel and it was a "friendly" server. was kicked for hacking.
Got a week ban on a server for capping on 2fort. Apparently, "Scouts are not allowed to cap because they are too fast."

Playing on valve server with randoms, being an MVP on my team when someone votekicks me with the reason "Idling". I brush it off as just some guy being stupid

My favorite is probably still getting kicked for spraying over another spray. The kicker was that his spray was already there when I joined so I couldn't see it, and I just happened to spray over it and apparently that was griefing :v:
I kept running around as a Fisty cuffs Hoovy and eventually I was banned for 15 minutes for, and [I][U][B]I quote[/B][/U][/I], "Not cooperating with your team/Scrub Play". The major irony was that I was RED team MvP, with 2 intel captures, 36 kills, and the highest points on the team at 70 points. Buffalo Steak Sandvich and Warrior's Spirit are just lovely.
Where do you people find these servers? I can't remember the last time I got kicked for a stupid reason.
