This guy's channel is extremely underrated. Also it is in the description but good to mention his Twitter account which has some GIFs showing more progress https://twitter.com/AnimBaum

"some of the saxxy winners told me incorrect information just to see if I'd put it in a video"
I can't be the only one who thinks this is incredibly rude and disrespectful and I kinda feel ashamed by association with anyone who would do this

A long time ago I made a couple really shitty Gmod videos, and now, just to spite my younger self, I decided to make something actually decent. If there's anything I've learned in the couple week long process of putting this video together, it's that making videos in Gmod is the most ridiculously tediously time-consumingly frustrating thing I've ever done. Oh well, I hope it turned out alright, at least, 'cause I'm never doing that again.

Comparison between TF2 config settings. The configs aren't loaded perfectly and thumbnail is shit, but it's still something. Thought I'd share it with you guys! I'll most likely make another video like this one in the near future.

This whole situation is ridiculous, VNN has made a mountain out of a molehill with it. He took what was a dumb joke and spun it into a fact. Any reporter that wants to be taken seriously wouldn't take "the map we played was thunder-y and mountain-y" referencing, yknow thunder mountain, and turn it into "they played the map for real". The fact that he had to email Dave for confirmation when he had already been told was embarrassing to say the least.

it's his job to report on the info he's given and when a joke obviously doesnt come off as one maybe it'd be a good idea to not let the joke run into his content?
sounds to me like poor communication which evolved into a desire to see him stumble just for smug self-satisfaction

Idk about you but it wasn't a very misleading joke, I thought what I said inferred that it was thunder mountain rather than the other way around. It's his job to report on what he's given but it's also his job to fact check and not get ahad of himself. He never explicitly asked me "I'm making a video was it thunder mountain or not."
To me it just seems like he was a bit overzealous

That ending was really depressing.
Probably because it's 4:3 ratio of widescreen footage. Admittedly much more of this one was unpolished than previous.
I'm pretty aware of all the flaws the video maintains, I've just been on and off the production of it so long I was getting tired of hearing it and finished it off so I can move on. It'll just serve as a reminder to always do final passes for myself, I suppose.

Put together my first SFM poster. Hope it turned out decently.

Poses are pretty nice. Don't be afraid to really throw some lights in though, it can really make a poster stand out. Usually 3 is enough but you can add more to highlight parts of the poster.

Some motion blur for the background would be nice because it looks like they're just floating but other than that, I like it!

The faces are great!
So, I was pretty tired of there not being a phyisical version of the TF comics, so I decided to get my own made. Issue #1 came out pretty well I think, so I'll be getting the next issues printed out over time aswell. Had to do a bit of editing on some "pages" so that puns would work (e.g. when in the digital version you need to click the image, only for it to be replaced by a slightly different image). I also used a couple of poster images from The Music of TF2, for the interior of the cover and backcover.
